Lung Cancer is an abnormality where the body's cells proliferate erratically. the disease can spread to other body parts and can be deadly in case of late diagnosis. Machine learning techniques can be used to diagnose lung cancer effectively. To detect lung cancer at an early stage, we developed a software-aided lung malignancy detection system utilizing transfer learning. Transfer learning enables us to eliminate training the model from scratch and also reduces the number of parameters as well as computation time. Here, the pre-trained Visual Geometry Group (VGG16) model is fine-tuned in two ways;Initially, all five convolution blocks are frozen and the classifier is replaced with two dense layers and an output layer. In the Second method, only the first four convolution blocks are frozen leaving behind the fifth convolution block as un-frozen. the first model with all frozen convolution blocks attained an accuracy of 98.18%, whereas the second model produced a better accuracy of 99.54%. To evaluate the proposed model, a comparison is performed with existing state-of-the-art methodologies. the experimental results clearly show that the proposed methodology performs better than other methods already in use. this work helps to determine if a tumor is benign or malignant, and is helpful for both medical professionals and patients. © 2023 Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

the practise of environment monitoring has substantially advanced because to recent developments in technology for communication, 'like the Internet of things (IoT)'. Technological solutions have the capacity to track, analyse, and understand our surroundings, enabling modernizations that improve the standard of living. Billion intelligent gadgets are connected via the 'Internet of things (IoT)', so they may easily communicate with each other. It is the computer industry with the quickest rate of growth. On the one hand, Technological solutions are essential for improving a number of practical smart applications that can raise the quality of life. 'Machine learning, the Internet of things', and other cutting-edge digital technologies enable management to acquire, analyse, interpret, and store huge volumes of data quickly and effectively. Content that may be retrieved later can also be saved using these techniques. this also puts the organization's ability to protect the information and data needed to sufficiently improve network security in grave danger. the purpose of this study is to illustrate how machine learning may be used to integrate connectivity and system integrity techniques for boosting network security. the researchers have critically explained the research topic comprehensively by adopting appropriate research methodology. Furthermore, this study has taken into account secondary and empirical research to gather relevant information related to research topic. © 2023 IEEE.

By using Genetic Algorithms (GAs) to enhance the efficacy of antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimens, this investigation aims to transform HIV / AIDS treatment practices. An interpretivism philosophy serves as the foundation for the deductive approach, which uses a design for descriptive studies and additional data gathering. the project is organized around four main theme areas: validation as well as comparative evaluation, GA improvement of ART, modeling using computers for HIV / AIDS development, and viability as well as execution of customized medicine. To mimic the course of the disease, a mathematical model is constructed and integrated with particular to patient parameters. GAs is used to methodically investigate various treatment choices while taking into account variables including the amount of virus, CD4 population count, and medication resistance characteristics. Validation and a comparison compare GA-optimized treatments to traditional ART procedures while scrutinizing the model's forecasts against data from clinical studies. Clinical viability, patient compliance, savings, and medication resistance management are covered as practical factors for implementation. Despite being optimistic, this research admits its possible drawbacks, which include reliance on supplementary data and modeling difficulties for viral processes. Future research is advised to involve transdisciplinary collaboration, greater integration of information, and long-term clinical studies, including investigations of real-world deployment. © 2023 IEEE.

An intelligent border system measurement scheme based on ultrasonic sensing technology is designed in this paper. the measurement scheme is composed of the sensing detection module and the data processing module, where the main sensing detection module is the outdoor sensor probe, which is mainly composed of the network controller, the network management module, the sensor and the sensor interface. the system measurement scheme mainly uses ultrasonic sensors and intelligent video for comprehensive perception of the perimeter area. Signal detection is completed through signal acquisition, analysis and processing of the detection area, and then through computer data processing, through intrusion positioning, so as to realize the all-weather intelligent monitoring of the perimeter area. this study emphasizes the mobile app design, usability, and performance evaluation of AEP Mobile, a self-assessment mobile application to measure users' entrepreneurial abilities and factors as part of ASEAN Entrepreneurship Profiling (AEP). As the mobile app was designed following the Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules of Interface design and (Five) Human Factors of Interactive Software, we would like to evaluate whether potential users would consider the mobile app to be user-friendly according to Shneiderman's recommendations. We evaluated multiple mobile app evaluation metrics and methods and ended up adopting MARS and the original Golden Rules to evaluate our app to Indonesian public as part of the beta testing process. Results collected from Indonesian participants show user's high satisfaction in the user interface, despite having issues especially in app error-handling. © 2023 IEEE.

On today's date there are more than four hundred plus universities under the jurisdiction of UGC. these universities further govern many affiliated colleges. By this there are a lot of people directly or indirectly connected to UGC. It is no gainsaying these people sometimes face problems and to resolve it they head towards UGC, but the currently used system is very hard to register and track complaints. Even if the case is registered the responses are slow and it takes a lot of time for providing appropriate justice/solution to the problem. To solve this, the paper proposes a web-based system to register a complaint and track complaints digitally. By this way registering a complaint and tracking it will simplify and will also provide secrecy to the complainant's identity. In doing these latest technologies will be used such as NextJs and ReactJs for the Frontend, MongoDb for the database of the system and we will be creating a GraphQL API for the backend and linkage of database to frontend using NodeJs and ExpressJs. © 2023 IEEE.

this study explores the conceptual design of soul communication devices from the perspective of speculative design. through literature analysis, it examines descriptions of the soul in religion, philosophy, film and television, and historical records, summarizing people's diverse views and beliefs about the soul. Additionally, it analyzes the props and devices used for interacting with souls in films and games, exploring their design concepts and common characteristics. Based on these analyses and the theory of speculative design, this study proposes four conceptual designs for soul communication devices, which are based on VR glasses, ordinary glasses, and physical reflection structures. these designs integrate various detection and display technologies to demonstrate possible future scenarios and functions of soul communication devices. Furthermore, this study utilizes 3D models to propose potential appearances of soul-viewing devices, aiming to inspire future researchers. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Kirigami is a Japanese art of paper cutting. It is used to obtain three-dimensional shapes via cutting and folding the paper. Origami, however, is based on a series of precise geometric folding without any other changes to the paper. With the characteristics of dimensional change and form transformation as well as the advantages of being able to expand and zoom, both Kirigami and Origami have great potential in cross-domain applications. these include biomedical materials, deformable robots, adaptable building cortex, and aerospace science. these applications show different requirements for folding by Kirigami or Origami. this study considered that the knowledge of design must include the operational process used to solve design problems.

Immersive learning has gained significant attention with the rising trend of spatial computing, particularly in the after-pandemic era. Numerous research has explored the potential of immersive learning in higher education, primarily on the educational sector. However, prior research has frequently focused too narrowly on the effects of technology and neglected to address the crucial element influencing successful immersive learning in higher education. this study seeks to pinpoint the crucial element contributing to the development of immersive learning experiences. the methodology uses a systematic literature review (SLR) from 2018 up to 2023 to investigate the critical factors of immersive Learning in Higher Education. From the 728 papers initially retrieved, 274 were considered potential candidates, and ultimately, 86 articles were selected based on their relevance to the research question. the results reveal that the critical factors include learning design, technology, immersion, engagement, interactivity, and usability. Academic interests will benefit from this SLR's consequences as institutions create models for designing suitable immersive learning, especially within the context of higher education. © 2023 IEEE.
