An initial approximation circular helix with quadratic NURBS curve is represented by combining the algorithm for the planar NURBS circular arc and the height function defined by using the knot insertion and the degree elevation for linear NURBS. For given tolerance, a subdivision scheme based on de Boor algorithm for approximating NURBS helix curve is proposed. the modification subdivision scheme is easy and stabilized for keeping on improvement the approximation value and eliminates the blending algorithm for Bézier segments. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the efficiency of the method.

Nowadays, users spend much time and effort in finding the best suitable designs since more and more information is placed on-line. To save their time and effort in searching the designs they want, the user-adapting recommendation system is required. In this paper, Automatic Classification for Grouping designs (ACG) in a Fashion design Recommendation Agent System (FDRAS) is proposed. the ACG algorithm groups designs into clusters based on these classified designs. It is possible that if the design requires simultaneous regrouping in all other groups, the ACG algorithm can be used to improve efficiency of information retrieval and sorting, in the FDRAS datasets. the proposed method is evaluated on a large database, significantly outperforming the nearest-neighbor model and k-mean clustering in the prototype user-adapting FDRAS. this method can solve the large-scale dataset problem without deteriorating accuracy quality.

An all-solution Boolean satisfiability (SAT) solver aims to find all the satisfying assignments. In this paper, we introduce ASIG, an all-solution solver for satisfiability problems. ASIG operates on conjunctive normal forms (CNFs) instead of circuits or hybrid representations as most other all-solution solvers did. ASIG prevents the same solution from being found again by creating a blocking clause from a solution and adding it into the clause database. To ensure efficiency, ASIG embeds an incremental mechanism into zchaff [1] to avoid starting search from scratch in searching for a new solution. ASIG also implements some other blocking clause management strategies such as earlier termination and blocking clause merging to further improve efficiency. All our work is tested and analyzed on a set of CNF benchmarks.

As spatial locality leads to advantages of computation speed-up and sequence reuse in molecular computing, molecular walkers that exhibit localized reactions are of interest for implementing logic computations. We use molecular spiders, which are a type of molecular walkers, to implement logic circuits. We develop an extended multi-spider model with a dynamic environment where signal transmission is triggered locally, and use this model to implement three basic gates (AND, OR, NOT) and a mechanism to cascade the gates. We use a kinetic Monte Carlo algorithm to simulate gate computations, and we analyze circuit complexity: our design scales linearly with formula size and has a logarithmic time complexity.

Product emotion influences some aspects of interaction before, during and after the use of a product. this article aims to review selectively a fair proportion of the literature on method of measuring emotions or user affective experience in interactive contexts. Some specific measurement techniques, touching on self-report of subjective experience, expressive reactions, facial reactions, and physiological reactions are reviewed, the comparability of these measures is examined, and some conclusions and suggestions for future research on product emotion measures are provided.

Withthe announcement of the fourth industrial revolution in recent years, automation in the industrial field has developed into a form that fuses with Information and Communications Technologies. the factory is aiming at mass customization different from existing mass production. User requirements are becoming more diverse and new trends need to be followed quickly. these requirements must be met to reduce the overall product life cycle. Traditional automation units have existed in a direction that maintains a fixed form for mass production. However, in order to meet new requirements, we must aim for agile automation in a form that can be easily changed. To realize such agile automation, physically legacy devices must be moved to virtual space and freely editable, adjustable, and connected. In this paper, we propose Agile Factory Automation as a service Architecture (AFAA) that can provide agility and flexibility to the factory automation. In addition, we introduce Container-based virtualized Automation Control Unit (CvACU), a virtual device that exists in virtual space, to realize agile automation. the new proposal architecture and virtual devices allows for on-line dynamic configuration, while at the same time adapting quickly to various changes in the plant. In order to evaluate these proposed architectures, we estimate that production classifications will be possible more quickly with application of virtualization technology based on product model in flexible production.
