the strategic alignment between organisational objectives and human resource management is stronger in contemporary organizations. As deep learning methods and machine learning solutions play a larger role in managing human resource management operations, organizations are focusing on more applicable sets of solutions. Models based on machine learning are now making progress in a variety of HRM-related fields. Machine learning is being used in human resource management to anticipate who will remain and who will depart the company, as well as to gauge workers' interest in their specific *** scraping methods are used to extract the data, which is then saved in CSV format. With the aid of ML algorithms, the many characteristics in the data acquired using this method may be used to make predictions. the management may develop a strategy to keep a deserving person in the organization by using the analysis to draw conclusions about who will remain or depart the *** used a variety of methods in our investigation, including feature scaling and SMOTE. the recommended techniques, such as random forest and XG boost classifier, are supported by the findings. We'll arrive to a judgment based on the accuracy rate (%) numbers for the results generated by the offered approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

the IEEE 802.11 work group is working on the standard IEEE 802.11e and introduces the Hybrid Coordination Function (HCF) to provide better Qos support to real-time traffic. Recently, a reference design of a simple scheduler and admission control unit is proposed in a TGe Consensus Proposal. this scheduler takes the QoS requirements of flows into account and allocates Transmission Opportunities (TXOP) duration to stations on the basis of the mean sending rate and mean packet size. However, the reference design is only efficient to the flows with Constant Bit Rate (CBR) characteristic and does not take the rate and packet size fluctuation of Variable Bit Rate (VBR) traffic into account. the packet loss probability of VBR traffic may be very large. In this paper, we enhance the simple admission control unit in the reference design to provide guarantee on the packet loss performance. the expression for packet loss probability of a single VBR flow in term of the TXOP duration is determined and the effective TXOP duration given the packet loss requirement can be found for admission control. Numerical results are presented to show that there is about 20 times improvement on the packet loss rate in our proposed Admission Control Algorithm. © 2004 IEEE.

Mental workload is an important indicator of an operator's performance when executing a certain task. As a design concept, it is fundamental for monitoring and assessing his interaction with technological devices, such as imaging systems. A bad design can affect the mental workload of the operator, and therefore, becomes useful to assess it while performing the required tasks. this work presents a tool for cognitive workload assessment that is composed of two open-source and low-cost hardware parts: an electroencephalography system and an eye-tracker. Both are synchronized via an open-source software: Lab Streaming Layer. this paper describes the architecture of the sensor system, considering also specially developed hardware and software components that were included to allow the integration of the different subsystems. In order to show the performance of the system as tool to assess some psycho-physical indicators, examples of dedicated signal processing are also presented.

Customization of IP blocks in a multi-processor system-on-chip (MPSoC) is the historical approach to the cost-effective implementation of such systems. A recent trend consists of structuring a MPSoC into loosely coupled voltage and frequency islands to meet tight power budgets. In this context, synchronization between islands of synchronicity becomes a major design issue. Dual-clock FIFOs compare favorably with respect to synchronizer-based designs and pausible clocking interfaces from a performance viewpoint, but incur a significant area, power and latency overhead. this paper proposes a library of dual-clock FIFOs for cost-effective MPSoC design, where each architecture variant in the library has been designed to match well-defined operating conditions at the minimum implementation cost. Each FIFO synchronizer is suitable for plug-and-play insertion into the NoC architecture and selection depends on the performance requirements of the synchronization interface at hand. Above all, components of our synchronization library have not been conceived in isolation, but have been tightly co-designed with the switching fabric of the on-chip interconnection network, thus making a conscious use of power-hungry buffering resources and leading to affordable implementations in the resource constrained MPSoC domain. ©2010 IEEE.

this research proposed a coherent assessment method for evaluating visual ergonomics in simulated flight deck via evaluating psychological indices and performance during a series of experiments. A simulated flight deck environment was established according to the dimensions of a real commercial aircraft cockpit with back projection, and then a balanced sequence of pseudo random variates was generated with replicated Latin square design. After the experiment of 18 interior color levels and 2 luminance levels, a complex statistical analysis was conducted to examine the significance as well as correlations within different factors. the fluctuation of luminance can affects the results slightly, while the change of the interior color, both hue and saturation-intensity levels, can influence subjects' visual ergonomics significantly and interactively. this coherent assessment indicates that light blue was the best choice, whereas, vivid yellow was the last among the 18 colors. © 2013 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Although distributed systems are widely used nowadays, their implementation and deployment is still a time-consuming, error-prone, and hardly predictive task. In this paper, we propose a methodology for producing automatically efficient and correct-by-construction distributed implementations by starting from a high-level model of the application software in BIP. BIP (Behavior, Interaction, Priority) is a component-based framework with formal semantics that rely on multi-party interactions for synchronizing components. Our methodology transforms arbitrary BIP models into Send/Receive BIP models, directly implementable on distributed execution platforms. the transformation consists of (1) breaking atomicity of actions in atomic components by replacing strong synchronizations with asynchronous Send/Receive interactions;(2) inserting several distributed controllers that coordinate execution of interactions according to a user-defined partition, and (3) augmenting the model with a distributed algorithm for handling conflicts between controllers preserving observational equivalence to the initial models. Currently, it is possible to generate from Send/Receive models stand-alone C++ implementations using either TCP sockets for conventional communication, or MPI implementation, for deployment on multi-core platforms. this method is fully implemented. We report concrete results obtained under different scenarios.

Identifying user-friendly use cases for technologies under development is often a difficult endeavor, especially when designing healing environments for the elderly, due to the absence of comparable technologies and the little technology experience in the target group. the principles of user centered design (UCD) have been successfully applied with professionals and lead users, but it is much more difficult for the development of healing environments like AAL-systems (ambient assisted living systems). this article describes the user-centered development of use cases for an innovative lighting system ("Guiding-Light") aimed at increasing the independence and well-being of senior adults. © 2013 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

In order to accomplish the product special requirements of customers and establish the product developing platform for non-professional effectively, the requirement feature and requirement agile expression model of individualized product were put forward. the logical meta model and physical structure model of individualized product requirement information were built, the basic management and operating of model integration, mapping, extraction, refine and recombination were accomplished in terms of XOEM based. the Man-machine coordination requirement information analysis was built to simplify spatial search of system. the synchronization validation of requirement compatibility was accomplished by Bottom-Up reduction to ensure the reliability and validity of product information which customer express.

Chinese papers have become a major resource for Chinese researchers to learn about the status of their *** filtering technique can help people to find useful information among these resources online. An efficient information filtering approach is needed to prioritize Chinese papers so that Chinese researchers can spend less time searching for papers of their interest. Since traditional collaborative filtering algorithm has the problems of sparse matrix and low accuracy, which will influence the results of prediction. this paper presents the architecture for Chinese texts filtering. An algorithm based on the similarity of information items is also proposed. It can solve the sparse matrix problem and improve the efficiency of prediction. Preliminary experiment shows the efficiency of this algorithm.

For C++ programs often appear memory leaks, cross-border access memory and memory does not match the release of error, we have analyzed existing memory error detection tools and methods, implemented in the Linux platform to run the memory testing tool MemDetect prototype based on the open source dynamic instrumentation-Valgrind using function family's memory information block management method and life cycle method. the prototype can detect memory leaks, cross-border access memory and memory does not match the release problems effectively, the validity and efficiency of the prototype are proved by comparing with Purify Rational. © 2016 IEEE.
