the paper provides a solution to the problem of uniting heterogeneous computing resources into a unified heterogeneous system using service-oriented architecture (SOA) and the conception of GRID-computing, where computing resources of clients are presented as a service. the use of SOA for creating GRID-systems will allow the clients to implement integration of not only local separated heterogeneous computing resources, but also geographically separated ones. the suggested platform is not intended to replace or displace other GRID-systems. Instead of this, it gives the possibility of using different platforms based on SOA in a unified computing process.

the analysis of Big data technologies was provided. An example of MapReduce paradigm application, uploading of big volumes of data, processing and analyzing of unstructured information and its distribution into the clustered database was provided. the article summarizes the concept of "big data". Examples of methods for working with arrays of unstructured data are given. the parallel system Resilient distributed Datasets (RDD) is organized. the class of basic database operations was realized: database con-nection, table creation, getting in line id, returning all elements of the database, update, delete and create the line. Industrial automation is currently on the cusp to the application of distributed systems based on distributed intelligence enabling distributed decision making within control. As one main technology within this field IEC 61499 based function block systems will be applied. But g e of function block systems may cause problems which have to be avoided prior to the integration of a function block system in a control system. Hence, Junction block systems need to be examined using formal models and formal verification technologies. therefore, formal models need to be created automatically during, the function block system design. Within this paper an algorithm for automatic model design and its integration in the Function Block System Designer will be described.

Many applications in different fields need to access large amounts of data. the difficulty of handling out-of-core data limits the performance of supercomputers. this paper first describes an out-of-core computation model on cluster of workstations. then an object-oriented method is offered, which makes the out-of-core programs easier to write. Some optimal strategies, such as distribution of Local Array Files, data sieving and prefetching, also make an improvement in the performance of out-of-core parallel computations.
this paper quantitatively studies the trace effects to the performance and accuracy of the BigSim Emulator, a scalable parallel emulator for large-scale computers. To assess the accuracy effect we modify the emulator ...

TOUGH2 is a general-purpose numerical simulation program for multi-dimensional, multiphase, multicomponent fluid flows, heat transfer and contaminant transport in porous and fractured media. It has been used worldwide for geothermal reservoir engineering, nuclear waste isolation, environmental assessment and remediation, and modeling flow and transport in variably saturated media. TOUGH2 is very computationally intense, and the accuracy and scope of the simulation is limited by the amount of processing power available on a single computer. this makes it an ideal canadate for parallelcomputing, as more CPU power and memory is available. Furthermore, TOUGH2' s main computational unit is a linear equation solver. In parallelcomputing, a lot of effort has been spent to develop highly efficient parallel linear equation solvers. In this paper, we present TOUGH2-PETSc, a parallel implementation of TOUGH2 that uses PETSc to solve the linear systems in TOUGH2. PETSc is a library of high-performance linear and non-linear equation solvers that has been throughly tested at scale. Based on TOUGH2 and PETSc, TOUGH2-PETSc gives TOUGH2 users the potential to perform larger scale and higher resolution simulations. Experimental results demonstrate that the parallel TOUGH2-PETSc shows improved performance over the sequential version.

A Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) is an autonomous system of mobile nodes connected by wireless links there is no static infrastructure such as base station as that was in cell mobile communication. Due to the dynamic nature of the network topology and restricted resources, quality of service (QoS) and multicast routing in MANET is a challenging task In this paper, we present an entropy-based model to support QoS multicast routing optimization algorithm in mobile ad hoc networks (EQMOA). the basic motivations or the proposed modeling approach stem from the commonality observed in the location uncertainty in mobile ad hoc wireless networks and the concept of entropy. the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach and parameters provide an accurate and efficient method of estimating and evaluating the route stability in dynamic mobile networks.

A hybrid P2P system, such as Napster, has a central directory where the peers publish information about the content they offer for sharing. We study the incentives for self-interested node's participating in such P2P system with centralized directory, by developing the new cost model of P2P network In our model, a node will participate the system if and only if it can get more than it gives. We discover several interesting conclusions on the character of the participating. there is probably a threshold value in such P2P systems, that is, the system is unstable when the number of its nodes is less than the threshold and the system is,table and self-developing when its size exceeding the thresh-old.

As the Internet of things (IoT) continues to grow rapidly, efficient resource utilization is crucial for the sustainability and performance of IoT networks. In this context, LoRa technology, known for its low-power, long-range communication, has become popular for IoT applications. However, the limited energy and spectrum resources in Long Range (LoRa) networks present challenges in achieving optimal network performance in dense deployments. In particular, existing centralized approaches, such as LoRa Adaptive Data Rate, may fail to scale up to the large networks typical of IoT scenarios. To address all of these issues, we propose a smart, fully-distributed resource allocation scheme based on multi-agent cooperative Q-learning approach. Simulations results prove that our approach improves the Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) and reduces the energy consumption of up to 43% as compared to fixed SF and random non-smart strategies, respectively, while also keeping the decision process at a device-level, with no centralized entities involved.

Usability of pervasive computing features along withthe detection of a meeting is very effective for the users. In this paper, we present the design of a Smart Meeting Room (SMR) that not only detect the starting and ending of a meeting but also provide the support of participant's context information, knowledge usability and ephemeral group communication. Our approach will play a vital role for not only for meeting detection but other closely related applications of pervasive computing.
