this paper presents a differential energy-based protection scheme for microgrid using Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (EEMD). Current signal from both ends of the line is retrieved and processed through EEMD and first Intrinsic Mode Function (IMF) is selected for energy calculation. Differential energy is calculated for each line and a threshold is set for fault detection. IEEE 34 bus distribution system is modified as a microgrid for fault analysis and simulated on PSCAD/EMTDC platform. LG and LLLG faults are simulated at different fault location for island and grid connected mode. the results obtained shows that the proposed method can detect the fault successfully in the system.

Unfortunately there are a lack of robot oriented framework for federated learning that use state of the art machine learning libraries. ROS2 (Robot Operating Systems) is a standard de-facto in robotics for building up teams of robots in a multi-node fully distributed manner. In this paper we presents the integration of ROS2 with PyTorch allowing an easy training of a global machine learning model starting from a set of local datasets. We present the architecture, the used methodology and finally we discuss the experimentation results over a well-known public dataset.

Fault tolerance issues related to the implementation of distributed iterative algorithms via the P2PDC peer-to-peer distributedcomputing environment are considered. P2PDC is a decentralized environment dedicated to task parallelapplications. It has been designed more particularly for the solution of large scale numerical simulation problems via distributed iterative algorithms. the environment allows frequent and direct communications between peers i.e., machines. P2PDC is based on P2PSAP, a self-adaptive communication protocol. We present new functionalities of P2PDC aimed at making our environment more robust. An adaptive fault tolerance mechanism ensures the robustness of computation to cope with peer faults. We consider also fault tolerance from an algorithmic point of view: we concentrate in particular on distributed asynchronous iterative algorithms that can tolerate some message loss. A series of computational results is presented and analyzed for a numerical simulation problem.

In this paper we present a true concurrency variant of pi-calculus. this calculus can describe the simultaneous execution of several atomic actions and the true concurrent execution of several processes. An important character of true concurrency is conflict. When a process encounters a conflict, it cannot evolve into any process. In order to distinguish two processes that one may encounter a conflict, and the other cannot, we propose a concept of conflict bisimulation, two processes are conflict bisimilar if they can not only evolve into conflict bisimilar processes, but also have the Potential of same conflict. In pi-calculus, congruence cannot be preserved under prefix operator but in the case of our true concurrency variant of pi-calculus, the congruence property holds for all operators.

Mesh-connected processor array is a popular architecture used in parallel processing. Extensive studies have been conducted on reconfiguration algorithms for the processor arrays with faults, but few work is on parallel algorithm to accelerate the reconfiguration. this paper presents a fast algorithm to reconfigure two dimensional mesh-connected processor arrays with faults. A traditional algorithm is successfully accelerated in the manner of multithread, without loss of harvest. the proposed algorithm reconfigures the processor array withthe mechanics of route distance in order to avoid the routing errors. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can accelerate the reconfiguration nearly by 15 times on a 64 x 64 array in comparison to the traditional algorithm cited in this paper.
