In this study, the impact of core steps on transformer performance and core losses is thoroughly analyzed using the Finite Element Method (FEM). Four different core structures, consisting of 5, 7, 9, and 13 steps, are simulated to assess their effects. the analysis is applied to a 3150 kVA, 20/0.4 kV power transformer. the core material utilized is Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO) steel with a lamination thickness of 0.23 mm. the results of the simulations indicate that the best performance is obtained when 13 steps are used in the construction of the transformer core. Specifically, it is observed that as the number of core steps increases, the core losses are reduced, leading to improved efficiency. this comprehensive study provides valuable insights into optimizing transformer design by adjusting core step configurations to minimize energy losses and enhance overall performance.

this paper proposes an implementation method of software interface based on functional modeling. then according to the characteristics of SVG, the corresponding interface is automatically generated. It can effectively improve the work efficiency of developers. the generated SVG interface and JavaScript script work together to realize the full capabilities of the entire software. the main research contents include the abstraction and construction of network structure software based on agents, the adaptive and self-evolution mechanism of dynamic binding, the design and implementation of ODAM software based on organizational abstraction, the strategic expression language SADL based on self-adaptation and self-evolution and other core technologies. the system consists of ODBAM tools, a network software analysis and development tool set, a programming tool set, and an operation support platform. An abstract interface designer allows users to intuitively specify the functional features of a software interface; it can automatically generate interfaces that match the display features of various terminals based on the functional features of the user interface. this paper uses SVG files to show the appearance of the final application interface, and uses JavaScript scripts to complete specific processing logic. Withthis tool, developers can write one program at a time. In this way, program interfaces are automatically generated multiple times for different devices.

To prevent phase imbalance and ensure reliable distribution system operation, effective management of customer phase connectivity in a distribution network is essential. However, in many cases, obtaining accurate phase connectivity information is expensive and time-consuming as it inevitably requires either manual intervention or the use of costly advanced diagnostic tools. Considering cases where reference phase connections in three-phase power systems are unreliable, we propose a phase estimation method based on the correlation between voltage time series collected at the data central unit (DCU) and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI). In particular, our method represents phase connection estimates as permutations and efficiently finds the best phase connection configuration by considering only the important permutations. Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively identifies customer phase connections while reducing the search space by excluding insignificant permutations.

Information geometry (IG) provides the characterization of the structure of statistical models from a differential geometric point of view. By considering families of probability distributions as manifolds with coordinate charts determined by the parameters of each individual model, the tools of differential geometry, such as divergences and metric tensors, provide effective means of studying their characteristics. the research undertaken in this paper presents a novel approach to the modelling study of information geometrics of a queueing system. In this context, the manifold of stable M/G/1queue is characterised from the viewpoint of IG, the Kullback's divergence (KD) and J-divergence (JD) are determined. Also, it is revealed that the stable M/G/1 queue manifold has a zero 0-Gaussian curvature a non-zero Ricci Curvature Tensor (RCT). Unifying IG with Queueing theory enables the study of dynamics of queueing system from a novel Riemannian Geometry (RG) point of view, leading to the analysis of the stable M/G/1 queue, based on theory of Relativity (TR).

this study employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology to evaluate and compare four prominent PV simulation software tools: PVsyst, HOMER, PVGIS, and SAM. Withthe urgent need to transition to renewable energy due to escalating global warming concerns, the evaluation of simulation software becomes pivotal. Each software tool is assessed based on criteria such as availability and cost, solar database access, input data requirements, output presentation, updateability, and limitations. A comprehensive AHP hierarchy is established and pair-wise comparisons are performed to assign relative priorities. the weights of each criterion are determined, leading to an overall rating for each software. the results reveal that SAM is the most suitable choice for Bangladesh due to its cost-effectiveness, extensive solar database, efficient input requirements, comprehensive output analysis, and adaptability. this research provides valuable insights for decision-makers in selecting an appropriate PV simulation software tool to promote renewable energy adoption and planning.

Strategic Earth Observation infrastructure units, such as permanent GNSS station networks are increasingly integrated into civil protection strategies and operation plans, serving as decisive tools for monitoring the evolution of geohazards, and assessing their potential impact on the anthropogenic and physical environment. Nevertheless, GNSS performance is still vulnerable to unintentional or intentional interference, withthe latter on the rise. Consequently, Interference Monitoring Networks have been developed worldwide to detect interference and pinpoint its sources by means of localization techniques, thereby enabling early warning and immediate resolution of interference problems. the severe effects of interference on the GNSS signal integrity have prompted significant research endeavours towards the development of efficient methodologies for the timely detection of interference sources. Specifically, in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region, existing infrastructure for monitoring natural hazards is readily available and in use for a significant number of positioning or geophysical applications. For several years, Security Operation Centers (SOCs) have relied on tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Intrusion Detection systems (IDS) for reactive threat detection and risk management. However, these tools are becoming inadequate in detecting the current threat landscape, which is continuously increasing in terms of volume and variety, and targeting the most vulnerable component in the kill-chain, the human actor. this manuscript presents a novel data-driven approach that models user and entity behaviour in the early stages of the kill-chain. the proposed system estimates the probability of an entity being exposed by a threat actor during the delivery stage, thereby providing better anticipation time allowing the end-user to undertake mitigation focusing on concrete entities. Moreover, the framework has been tested in a real-life scenario executing different realistic phishing simulations and achieving successful results.
