the building performances are related to Energy Efficiency and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Modeling is one of the best accurate tools for measuring the building performance. Nowadays, Energy Efficiency and IAQ are modeled individually for buildings. Improvement strategies in both areas are analyzed separately. the fundamental problem in Energy and IAQ modeling is related to interaction to each other. this problem makes the modeling results unrealistic to the building performance solutions. To avoid this problem, in this current research, Energy and IAQ models are coupled simultaneously as a new co-simulation method. EnergyPlus and CONTAM are used as Energy and IAQ models, respectively. With the co-simulation method, these two models are coupled together. the method is based on the exchange of control variables between both models dynamically and simultaneously. As a result, the exchanges of temperature and air flow variables are corrected. the verification of the new model is based on the comparison of the simulation and analytical results of temperature and air flow variables. In the next step, this new coupling-co-simulation method for a townhouse building is done in two cases: A leaky and a tight building envelopes. Both cases are compared in two types of ventilation systems: infiltration only, and exhaust only. At this point, the simulated air change rates, gas energy use, and particles concentrations are compared for each case. Finally, the necessity of the accuracy of this new method is concluded. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

this paper describes the development and results of strategies for improving the environmental and economic aspects of concrete structures. As (marine) sand suitable for concrete construction is becoming increasingly scarce, concrete construction is becoming consequently increasingly expensive. thus, the need for an alternative building material arises. the inclusion of PET as a replacement for sand and making use of 3D printing as a fabrication method is examined, and the effect on structural performance will be examined further by using a gradient of plastic content. Research methods include the employment of computational design and 3D-printing fabrication tools that incorporate geometric and material constraints tested one-to-one on physical samples. Due to the fact that the material composite functions best in compression, a shell is chosen as a specimen for computational analysis. Based on the global shelĺs structural limitations of concrete the effect of local variation in material composition is analysed and evaluated. the goal of the present research is to illustrate a design approach for similar material systems with the aim of improving material properties for use in more environmentally tolerable, efficient and economical building, while testing geometric and material constraints as well as using low cost fabrication methods. © 2019 Society for Modeling & Simulation international (SCS).

Most of the production facilities in Europe make use of compressed air to drive equipment for manufacturing and Compressed Air systems (CAS) account for about 10% of the total electrical energy consumption of European industries. therefore, reducing CAS energy consumption is a crucial task to meet the European goals of improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact of the industrial sector. this work is part of a wider research activity aimed at developing a strategy to optimize the energy use in CAS. In particular, this paper shows the importance of monitoring energy consumption and control energy use in compressed air generation, to enable energy saving practices, enhance the outcomes of energy management projects, and to guide industries in energy management. We propose a novel procedure in which measured data are compared to a baseline obtained through mathematical modelling (i.e. regression functions) to enable faults detection and energy accounting, through the use of control charts (i.e. variations' control and the Cumulative Sums). the effectiveness of the proposed methodology is demonstrated in a case study, namely the compressed air system of a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. the problem of the rapid creation of effective web applications of one class using formal means is considered. A conceptual approach to its solution is offered based on an analysis of the peculiarities of the construction of web applications. Our approach is based on defining the standard web application architecture and selecting its components using formal methods in accordance with user requirements. A formal logical system is proposed that uses the design of web applications as a process of outputting a formula specified according to the needs of the user, which defines the schemes of execution of the modules of the system. An important feature of this approach is the ability to visualise the process of designing the system in 3D, which creates the conditions for effective interaction between developers and machine development tools.

At present, China's BDS has entered a new era of global networking, and the application industry has shown a rapid development trend. With the rapid development of BDS' global system construction and industrial development, Beidou's R&D and innovation activities increasing fast, international exchanges are becoming more frequent. As a technology highly concentrated industry, satellite navigation related companies will encounter a variety of IP litigations in this process. Enterprises face high IP risks in daily operations, international exchanges and corporate IPO. It is essential for the enterprises to pay attention in advance and respond appropriately. this paper searches the typical cases of IP lawsuits in satellite navigation enterprises, and analyses the problems that satellite navigation enterprises reflected in patent litigation, trademark litigation, software copyright litigation, trade secret litigation and IPO process. In combination with IP regulations and domestic & foreign litigation practices, strategies such as strengthen core patent R&D applications, attach importance to product trademarks and copyright rights, improve corporate IP management, attach importance to IP due diligence of core patents, apply overseas IP rights in advance, and explore ways to establish IP insurance system are listed. thus, Satellite navigation enterprises can attach importance to and properly solve various IP issues, which enable IPR to safeguard the long-term development of satellite navigation enterprises.

the investigation focuses on the use of Petri Nets for web services interaction modeling. It is discovered that Hierarchical Time Petri Nets is the most effective way to create web service interaction models. that is due to the fact that they can be used to build hierarchical models of complex systems, and investigate their dynamics. Moreover, the research describes a custom algebra-algorithmic system. It comprises the basis for further web services semantics and description. the models are developed with the custom algebra-algorithmic system operations. Service models are created with Petri colored nets. Models and imitational modeling are performed in the CPN-tools environment.

ULTIMATE AUTOMIZER is a software verifier that generalizes proofs for traces to proofs for larger parts for the program. In recent years the portfolio of proof producers that are available to ULTIMATE has grown continuously. this is not only because more trace analysis algorithms have been implemented in ULTIMATE but also due to the continuous progress in the SMT community. In this paper we explain how ULTIMATE AUTOMIZER dynamically selects trace analysis algorithms and how the tool decides when proofs for traces are "good" enough for using them in the abstraction refinement.

Adolescents tend to face many anxieties in the process of identity constructions. the trouble maker can be observed in the process of school days. the paper discusses empirically in terms of the mental health of students. A mental survey is conducted on the basis of psychiatry and clinical psychology. Fuzzy reasoning model is applied as an intelligent information processing for in-depth psychological analysis. Furthermore, the study constructed a diagnosis model for the trouble making in school attendance based on the evaluation of personality disorder diagnoses as well as internal problems. the possible solutions to the university attendance problem for students are analysed empirically.

the most difficult task in analyzing and appraising algorithms in Artificial Intelligence (AI) involves their formal mathematical analysis. In general, such an analysis is intractable because of the size of the search space and the fact that the transitions between the states within this space can be very intricate. that is why AI algorithms are, for the most part, evaluated empirically and experimentally, i.e., by simulations. However, whenever such an analysis is undertaken, it usually involves an analysis of the underlying stochastic process. In this connection, the most common tools used involve Random Walks (RWs), which is a field that has been extensively studied for more than a century [6]. these walks have traditionally been on a line, and the generalizations for two and three dimensions, have been by extending the random steps to the corresponding neighboring positions in one or many of the dimensions. the analysis of RWs on a tree have received little attention, even though it is an important topic since a tree is a counter-part space representation of a line whenever there is some ordering on the nodes on the line. Nevertheless, RWs on a tree entail moving to non-neighbor states in the space, which makes the analysis involved, and in many cases, impossible. this is precisely what we achieve in this rather pioneering paper. the applications of this paper are numerous. Indeed, the RW on the tree that this paper models, is a type of generalization of dichotomous search with faulty feedback about the direction of the search, rendering the reallife application of the model to be pertinent. To resolve this, we advocate the concept of "backtracking" transitions in order to efficiently explore the search space. Interestingly, it is precisely these "backtracking" transitions that naturally render the chain to be "time reversible". In the field of logistics, data glasses might help to increase work efficiency and optimize workflows. However, their impact on physical and psychological stress has not been adequately investigated yet. 29 healthy participants worked for 40 min at a mock-up version of an industrial order picking workplace, distributing simulated tools represented as balls from one box to four surrounding boxes. Information's concerning amount and destination of the order pick were provided either from a monitor above the machine or from the display of data glasses. Before the measurements, the participants received questionnaires to rate their technical affinity and to obtain information's about their prior experiences concerning data glasses. After each measurement, additional questionnaires were issued to evaluate the perceived physical and mental workload and visual fatigue during the work as well as to evaluate the data glasses. For the comparison between the setups different repeated measures ANOVA-models (or alternatively a t-test) were applied. A significant higher strain was reported for the eyes while working with the data glasses. However, no significant differences were found when asking for specific eye parameters (e.g. blurred vision and dry eyes). Additionally, a lower significant strain was reported for the neck. When asked for general physical workloads due to the workplace setup no significant differences were reported which contradicts these results. Cognitive workloads were perceived significantly higher when using data glasses. No influence of the technical affinity could be found. Overall, it can be stated that the acceptance of data glasses in this study was quite positive, while differences in perceived physical or cognitive workload were reported in certain parameters. However, the subjective reports of increase in eye strain can be an indicator that the use of data glasses may lead to problems in this area. Especially since no significant differences were r
