We propose a new frequency domain wavelet based watermarking technique. the key idea of our scheme is twofold: multire solution representation of image and odd-even quantization embedding/extracting watermark. Because many complementary watermarks need to be hidden, the watermark image designed is image-adaptive. the meaningful and complementary watermark images was embedded into the original image (host image) by odd-even quantization modifying coefficients, which was selected from the detail wavelet coefficients of the original image, if their magnitudes are larger than their corresponding Just Noticeable Difference thresholds. the tests show good robustness against bestknown attacks such as noise addition, image compression, median filtering, clipping as well as geometric transforms. Further research may improve the performance by refining IND thresholds.(1)

After a deep analysis on how to use an image processing system to detect the missing holes on the motor carling, we design the whole system combined with the actual production conditions of the motor carling. Afterwards we explain the whole system's hardware and software in detail. We introduce the general functions for the system's hardware and software. Analyzed these general functions, we discuss the modules of the system's hardware and software and the theory to design these modules in detail. the measurement to confirm the area to image processing, edge detection, randomized Hough transform to circle detecting is explained in detail. Finally, the system result tested in the laboratory and in the factory is given out.

Polarimetric SAR (Po1SAR) image classification is one of the important applications of Po1SAR remote sensing. It is a difficult high-dimension nonlinear mapping problem, the sparse representations based on learning overcomplete dictionary have shown great potential to solve such problem. the overcomplete dictionary plays an important role in Po1SAR image classification, however for Po1SAR image complex scenes, features shared by different classes will weaken the discrimination of learned dictionary, so as to degrade classification performance. In this paper, we propose a novel overcomplete dictionary learning model to enhance the discrimination of dictionary. the learned overcomplete dictionary by the proposed model is more discriminative and very suitable for Po1SAR classification.

Surface plasmon polarizations (SPP) is a nano-scale photon control technology which can converge the spread of oscillation electron driven by incident light. In recent years, SPP has become an advanced research hotspot and has been studied more and more widely. the convergence effect of SPP has extensive applications, such as Schottky barrier detector in which the higher power hotspot, the lower signal-to-noise ratio. In this paper, studies have been done about the interaction of light and matter. Different geometric shapes have been simulated, which were obtained by graphic clipping. Via comparing the power of the hot spot and the minimum location on the transmittance line, we concluded the relationship of the interaction and the structure. It's found that every absorption peak corresponds a mode of LSPP spread. therefore, we can design figure to control the spread of the SPP, and achieve fantastic goal. Finally, a typical figure with high power hotspot was given.

Aiming at the problem that the computational process in the method for image haze removal based on the dark channel prior is too complicated and too time-consuming, we propose a fast method for single image haze removal based on multiscale dark channel prior. In order to solve the problem that it takes too much time on a high resolution image, we choose to optimize the image haze removal based on dark channel prior algorithm by the method of multiple scales. We deal with rough resolution images and use fast minimum filtering and fast guided filtering to speed up the haze removal algorithm. therefore, the speed of calculation is accelerated while maintaining the good image effect after haze removal.

In JPEG-LS, fixed predictor based on median edge detector (MED) only detect horizontal and vertical edges, and thus produces large prediction errors in the locality of diagonal edges. In this paper, we propose a threshold-based edge detection scheme for the fixed predictor. the proposed scheme can detect not only the horizontal and vertical edges, but also diagonal edges. For some certain thresholds, the proposed scheme can be simplified to other existing schemes. So, it can also be regarded as the integration of these existing schemes. For a suitable threshold, the accuracy of horizontal and vertical edges detection is higher than the existing median edge detection in JPEG-LS. thus, the proposed fixed predictor outperforms the existing JPEG-LS predictors for all images tested, while the complexity of the overall algorithm is maintained at a similar level.

image location methods are the key technologies of visual navigation, most previous image location methods simply assume the ideal inputs without taking into account the real-world degradations (e.g. low resolution and blur). In view of such degradations, the conventional image location methods first perform image restoration and then match the restored image on the reference image. However, the defective output of the image restoration can affect the result of localization, by dealing with the restoration and location separately. In this paper, we present a joint image restoration and location (JRL) method, which utilizes the sparse representation prior to handle the challenging problem of low-quality image location. the sparse representation prior states that the degraded input image, if correctly restored, will have a good sparse representation in terms of the dictionary constructed from the reference image. By iteratively solving the image restoration in pursuit of the sparest representation, our method can achieve simultaneous restoration and location. Based on such a sparse representation prior, we demonstrate that the image restoration task and the location task can benefit greatly from each other. Extensive experiments on real scene images with Gaussian blur are carried out and our joint model outperforms the conventional methods of treating the two tasks independently.

Fisheye cameras have been widely used in many applications including close range visual navigation and observation and cyber city reconstruction because its field of view is much larger than that of a common pinhole camera. this means that a fisheye camera can capture more information than a pinhole camera in the same scenario. However, the fisheye image contains serious distortion, which may cause trouble for human observers in recognizing the objects within. therefore, in most practical applications, the fisheye image should be rectified to a pinhole perspective projection image to conform to human cognitive habits. the traditional mathematical model-based methods cannot effectively remove the distortion, but the digital distortion model can reduce the image resolution to some extent. Considering these defects, this paper proposes a new method that combines the physical spherical model and the digital distortion model. the distortion of fisheye images can be effectively removed according to the proposed approach. Many experiments validate its feasibility and effectiveness.

image quality evaluation is a classic research topic, the goal is to design the algorithm, given the subjective feelings consistent with the evaluation value. this paper mainly introduces several typical reference methods of Mean Squared Error(MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Rate(PSNR), Structural Similarity image Metric(SSIM) and feature similarity(FSIM) of objective evaluation methods. the different evaluation methods are tested by Matlab, and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods are obtained by analyzing and comparing *** and PSNR are simple, but they are not considered to introduce HVS characteristics into image quality evaluation. the evaluation result is not ideal. SSIM has a good correlation and simple calculation,because it is considered to the human visual effect into image quality evaluation,However the SSIM method is based on a hypothesis,the evaluation result is limited. the FSIM method can be used for test of gray image and color image test, and the result is better. Experimental results show that the new image quality evaluation algorithm based on FSIM is more accurate.

Multi-spectral image contains abundant spectral information, which is widely used in all fields like resource exploration, meteorological observation and modern military. image preprocessing, such as image feature extraction and matching, is indispensable while dealing with multi-spectral remote sensing image. Although the feature matching algorithm based on linear scale such as SIFT and SURF performs strong on robustness, the local accuracy cannot be guaranteed. therefore, this paper proposes an improved KAZE algorithm, which is based on nonlinear scale, to raise the number of feature and to enhance the matching rate by using the adjusted-cosine vector. the experiment result shows that the number of feature and the matching rate of the improved KAZE are remarkably than the original KAZE algorithm.
