Frequent itemsets (or frequent pattern) mining, which is the basic step during data stream mining, has been paid more and more attention by researchers. Because of the uncertainties and continuities of data stream, the time-efficiency and space-efficiency of many mining algorithms are unaccepted. In this paper, hashed table is introduced to represent the synoptic data structure. By this way, the memory footprints in Lossy Counting algorithms can be reduced. In addition, the algorithm of frequent itemsets mining based on D-Hashed Table (MFS-HT for short) is proposed to obtain the items whose frequency count exceeded a user-specified threshold in data streams. Comparing with Lossy Counting and a similar algorithm called Mining Frequent Item sets over data Streams by Matrix (MISM for short), the experiment result shows that MFS-HT is more effective both in time and space efficiency.

the effectiveness of real-time lossless compression on web data is found to be limited by the relatively small size of its basic operation unit, web object. However, we observe that while the repeated occurrence frequencies of strings within a single object might be low, the frequencies can be very high if they are considered over multiple objects. Furthermore, these strings with high occurrence frequencies are quite static, and the size of such string set is also quite small. In this paper, we propose a complementary compression mechanism on top of the existing HTTP supported algorithms, called the Content-Aware Global Static Compression (CAGSC), to further improve web data compression. Its basic idea is to include a static CAGSC table to perform compression on frequently, globally occurred strings. Our experimental result shows that CAGSC can obtain an average of 15% improvement over standard HTTP supported algorithms.

In this paper a three-dimensional analytical criterion for description of the onset of plastic deformation in cubic single crystals is presented. the criterion is pressure-insensitive and form-invariant to any transformation belonging to the symmetries of the material. Specialization of this criterion for each class of the cubic system is presented. For most metallic single crystals, the criterion involves five independent parameters, which can be determined based on the yield stresses in different crystal orientations. Comparisons with single crystal data show that the criterion can successfully describe the difference in yielding anisotropy between FCC crystals. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
