Since Cyber-Physical System or CPS currently takes part in industrial, there is a lot of research for developing this system. From the survey and the trend of CPS research, a human user interface for control and monitor was highlighted as Digital Twins where VR and AR are introduced to improve the visualization for easier system interpretation. this paper introduces the proposed design of real-time control web-based monitor and control of 4-DoF robotic arm system where the robotic arm represents a physical part and web-based visualization as a cyber-part. the 4-DoF robotic arm was utilized from MeArm robot and was controlled via ESP32 WROOM with Wi-Fi module in order to pursue wireless data transmission. WebSocket protocol will be exploited to connect between the physical and cyber-part where the virtual model was displayed and controlled via web-browser, the virtual model of the robot was created with 3D blender and operated with WebGL-based 3D application which can be integrated and run on web-browser without extension. the proposed design was evaluated with operational time and error between the controlled virtual model and actual physical angle, the result achieved 278.772 ms for average operational time and 0.32% in error of angle between virtual and actual. As a result, the proposed design provided two-way communication, real-time control, and monitor which can be applied in industrial applications.

In this work, we investigate a new unique way for charging batteries from renewable energy systems and grids with extra power, denoted as excess power. this technique aims to optimise battery charging/discharging and reduce dependent on the power grid. the essence of this technique revolves around self-tuning filters (STF) that offer undistorted fundamental value load current. Using this strategy, excess power charges the battery in an efficient manner. there were probable advantages of this sort of setups (i) decreased dependency on the central grid (ii) increased exploitation of renewable energy sources (iii)) Longer battery life is accomplished by using optimal charging strategies. the report continues by outlining probable possibilities for future research, such as evaluating the integration of this system with energy management platforms and testing its scalability for more large applications.

Precise localization of moving targets is essential to increase local control of the cancer via dose escalation while reducing the severity of normal tissue complication. Localization of targets in real time with radio-opaque marker is less favorable considering the excess radiation dose to the patient and potential complications of implantation. Various external surrogates could provide indications of the targets' positions during the breathing process. However, there is a great deal of uncertainty in the correlation between external surrogates and internal target positions/trajectory during respiratory cycles. In order to address this problem, we have developed an algorithm that automatically establishes correspondences between the fluoroscopic sequence frames taken from the patient on the day of treatment and the various phases of a 4DCT planning data set. Image based mapping/synchronization procedure is performed using an underlying Markov model established for the breathing process. the mapping procedure is formulated as an optimization process and is solved efficiently using a dynamic programming technique. Results on the phantom, synthetic, and real patient data demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in coping with respiratory correlation variations. the approach could primarily be used for automatic gating interval adaptation in the gated radiotherapy.

this paper proposes an optimized adaptive position control system applied for a linear induction motor (LIM) drive taking into account the longitudinal end effects and uncertainties including the friction force. the dynamic mathematical model of an indirect field-oriented LIM drive is firstly derived for controlling the LIM. On the basis of a backstepping control law, a sliding mode controller (SMC) with embedded fuzzy boundary layer is designed to compensate the lumped uncertainties during the tracking control of periodic reference trajectories. Since it is difficult to obtain the bound of lumped uncertainties in advance in practical applications, an adaptive tuner based on the sense of Lyapunov stability theorem is derived to adjust the fuzzy boundary parameters in real-time. It is a quite complicated process of parameter tuning, especially for the proposed controller, due to the difficulty arisen from lacking of the accurate mathematical model of a system accompanied with unknown disturbance. therefore, the soft-computing technique is adopted for off-line optimizing the controller parameters. the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is validated through simulations and experiments for several scenarios. Finally, the advantages of performance improvement and robustness are illustrated at the end of the optimization procedure.

Performance anomaly in High Performance computing (HPC) can be defined as run-to-run variation of an application in repeated runs with the same set of configuration parameters. Such variations can occur for myriad reasons, including contention for shared resources such as the network and dynamic data distribution across application processes. Traditionally HPC researchers focus on real-time anomaly detection using different Machine Learning (ML) methods. these popular methods, such as auto-encoder, limit finding anomalous event patterns during training time. On top of that, in HPC, performance data are stored in tabular format. though gradient-based methods have already proved their significant improvement over classification tasks, they explicitly use feature-feature relationships, ignoring the potential sample-sample relationship. To fill this gap, we build a performance anomaly classification technique leveraging the potential graph-based representation learning. We hypothesize that a meaningful and robust representation considering the sample-sample relationship for the given tabular datasets will improve the downstream anomaly classification technique. We conduct our experiment on 5 HPC datasets and 6 ML datasets. Our empirical study proves that graph-based anomaly classification outperforms the gradient-based approaches in 6 out of 11 experiments. We also explain how anomaly decisions are made inside the performance graph.

the proposed system incorporates a network of sensors strategically placed within the greenhouse to collect crucial environmental data, including temperature, humidity and soil moisture. these sensors form a connected ecosystem that continuously transmits data to a cloud-based platform. the cloud infrastructure, implemented using IBM Watson IoT platform, serves as a centralized hub for data storage, analysis, and decision-making. Furthermore, the system includes actuators responsible for controlling environmental parameters within the greenhouse. Automated climate control mechanisms are orchestrated based on real-time data insights. the implementation utilizes Raspberry Pi as the central processing unit, running Python scripts to interact with the sensors and actuators. To facilitate user-friendly interaction and real-time monitoring, the system integrates web interfaces developed using Node-Red. these interfaces provide remote access to greenhouse conditions and enable users to make informed decisions for optimal plant growth. An automated greenhouse prototype is finally implemented for monitoring and climate control system.

Recent times have overseen exceedingly high crime rates, and the appalling situation demands additional personal security measures. In light of the new advancements in technology, the demand for wireless systems has witnessed tremendous affinity, with major domains rapidly attempting to adopt the technique into their custom applications. Security is one such domain where wireless technology has thescope to achieve numerous practical applications. In one such instance, this study deploys the WiFi protocol over an intruder detection system using a TI LaunchPadMSP430. the TI launchpad is connected to the NuttyFi board which provides it with the internet connectivity required to put it online. the motion sensor acts as the input device that triggers the alarm which triggers output devices for intruder warning, in this case, a buzzerin parallel. the system also updates the alert in real-time online over the Blynk web server. this article combines embedded programming, wireless communication, hardware components, and sensing to build an intruder alert system. Using a page from technological baskets like IoT, RF, andembedded systems, the system fulfils a crucial requirement of the current society. Cross-platform usage boosts the utility of this system, putting it in the hands of millions of users.

Online social networking sites like YouTube are among the most popular sites on the *** these user sessions is important,both to improve current systems and to design new applications of online social *** paper reports on the results of a multiscale analysis of user session in traffic traces captured at the edge in campus *** analyzed traffic is characterized by a non self-similar process for small time scales and strong self-similarity for larger time *** smaller time scales,the packet arrival times are independent explaining the weak correlation of the *** larger timescales the arrival of user session connections can be considered ***,we propose a model which allows generating traffic similar to the measured *** model contains only multiscale index allowing influencing all observed changes in LD and Variance-time *** the output of the model with the real traffic traces we find that the model matches reality accurately.

Android apps typically include many functionalities that not all users require. these result in software bloat that increases possible attack surface and app size. Common functionalities that users may not require are related to permissions that they intend to disallow in the first place. As these permissions are disallowed, their related code would never be executed and therefore can be safely removed. Existing work has proposed a solution to debloat Android apps according to the disallowed permissions. However, for large and complex applications, the debloating process could take hours, typically due the long time that may be needed to construct call graph for analysis. In this work, we propose MiniAppPERM, that speeds up the permission-based debloating by constructing a partial call graph instead of a complete call graph. Our preliminary experiments on a set of apps in Google Play show that MiniAppPerm can reduce the call graph construction time by up to $85.3 \%$. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) techniques have proven to be very useful in image-based anomaly detection applications. CNN can be used as deep features extractor where other anomaly detection techniques are applied on these features. For this scenario, using transfer learning is common since pre-trained models provide deep feature representations that are useful for anomaly detection tasks. Consequentially, anomaly can be detected by applying similarly measure between extracted features and a defined model of normality. A key factor in such approaches is the decision threshold used for detecting anomaly. While most of the proposed methods focus on the approach itself, slight attention has been paid to address decision threshold settings. In this paper, we tackle this problem and propose a well-defined method to set the working-point decision threshold that improves detection accuracy. We introduce a transfer learning framework for anomaly detection based on similarity measure with a Model of Normality (MoN) and show that with the proposed threshold settings, a significant performance improvement can be achieved. Moreover, the framework has low complexity with relaxed computational requirements.
