In this paper, the fractal theory is applied to the packaging design system to simulate the typical fractal graphics on the computer. the purpose is to perform the packaging design, the propaganda of packaging goods and the anti-counterfeiting of packaging logo with the help of the characteristics of fractal graphics. In packaging design, it is often necessary to design more arbitrary graphics based on the consideration of anti-counterfeiting, and sometimes more abstract and realistic three-dimensional graphics are needed to meet the aesthetic needs of consumers. the software with functions focused on graphics and image processing and structure design can not complete this task well. In this paper, IFS algorithm in fractal generation algorithm is studied based on the characteristics of packaging and decoration graphics, and the IFS parameters are changed to generate new graphics by using Visual C++, to realize the practical application of IFS algorithm using fractal theory. © 2020 IEEE.

the present work investigates the problem of creating accessible web content for users with reduced vision and color blindness. the aim of the work is to present a model for the design and evaluation of web content with accessible color and contrast for visually impaired people. Such a model was built as part of the process of updating the web pages of Plovdiv University. It consists of the components: selection of web elements; accessibility standards and criteria; verification and validation tools; design and implementation technologies; identification of situations of dynamic change of web content; accessibility development artifacts; application approach. With the wide popularization of Internet of things technology, the design and implementation of intelligent speech equipment has attracted more and more researchers' attention. Speech recognition is one of the core technologies to control intelligent mechanical equipment. In this paper, the English speech recognition function is realized by the Hidden Markov model, which strengthens the processing ability of speech signal, and the intelligent speech equipment is applied to the smart language lab. the test results show that the designed system has comparatively accurate recognition ability to English speech and relatively strong control ability to intelligent device. Users are liberated from the traditional interaction mode and can complete the operation of intelligent language lab by non-contact way of voice signal in a non-fixed place without interrupting the user's current behavior. © 2021 Elsevier B.V.. Chronic interfacing with the brain to record and stimulate neural activity with high spatiotemporal resolution is highly desirable to advance the understanding of neural circuits and design of novel therapeutics. Traditional neural interfaces mainly rely on electrical recording and stimulation, which have inherent limitations such as lack of specificity and a large volume of tissue activation. With the advent of optogenetics, hybrid opto-electrical platforms have emerged as new bidirectional interfaces. In this paper, we introduce our groundwork towards the Smart Dura, a novel device that will ultimately integrate high density recording electrodes and light sources in the form of a chronic implant that can cover large cortical areas in the primate brain (300 mm 2 ) for adaptive recording and stimulation of neural activity in a closed loop. Smart Dura has two main components, the electrical dura for recording and the optical dura for optogenetic stimulation. As the first step to implement this platform, we have implemented the electrical dura as a high density, transparent and flexible $\mu \text{ECoG}$ array, as well as the optical dura, which is a high-density LED array, independently. Both the electrical and optical dura are implemented in flexible polymer substrates that provide mechanical compliance with the brain tissue and can be integrated together in a vertical stack. Here we present the fabrication, bench top characterization and acute in vivo validation of both the electrical and optical dura. this work paves the way towards the ultimate Smart Dura, a functional device that can replace the native dura as a chronic, large-scale bidirectional interface to study cortical brain activity in non-human primates (NHPs), with the potential for translation to humans.

Digital watermarking is getting more research and industry attention. Digital multimedia data allows for robust and simple data editing and modification. However, the spread of digital media presents concerns for digital content owners. It is important to note that digital data can be copied without quality or content loss. this has a considerable impact on copyright holders' ability to safeguard their intellectual property rights. the method of transmitting information by imperceptibly embedding it into digital media is digital watermarking. there are various methods in literature, such as DWT and DCT, which take full energy, are seen and integrated. New strategies and procedures for optimization are required. the present study proposes a novel design and computation technique based on the discrete wavelet and discrete cosine transforms. Watermarking techniques have been progressing to shield media content such as text, audio, video, etc. From copyright. the proposed hybrid DWT-DCT Bacterial Foraging Optimization (BFO) technique improves the efficiency of watermarking digital images by 97%. Bacterial foraging optimization (BFO) is an innovative technique for intelligent optimization. It is a widely used optimization algorithm in a wide variety of applications. However, when compared to other optimizers, the BFO performs poorly in terms of convergence. this technique uses a high-frequency image region. A variety of techniques are compared with the (NCC) Normalized Cross Correlations, (PSNR) Peak Noise Signal Ratio and IF (Image Fidelity). the highest performance is seen in DWT-DCT-BFO watermarking. © 2021 IEEE.

the deep integration of IoT into our daily lives has made the security of IoT everyone's priority, from IoT device manufacturers to IoT developers and final customers. Even though every year millions of IoT devices are introduced to the market, security, and privacy have not been competently addressed. Based on the survey of IoT challenges, IoT applications face many threats in Network communication, storage access, device identification and Authentication, program execution, firmware update, Secure Boot, etc. IoT devices are vulnerable to attacks, which breach the security and privacy of users and systems. Commonly most IoT applications are deployed using common operating systems that do not address IoT specialized security requirements. this paper introduces xPython, a novel secure-by-design operating system for IoT subsystems (devices and gateways). xPython provides transparent security solutions for common threats in addition to a security library for custom security implementation. xPython minimizes the time required to develop security features. xPython is secure by design to ensure security features are included at all stages of product creation and deployment. this paper proposes a new architecture for IoT operating systems, and it ends with a complete prototype implementation. the proposed architecture integrates security services inside operating system layers. It affects device initiation, communication protocols, application deployment, and application execution, ensuring software is executed securely, including non-secure applications (secure boot) and storage access. the proposed security solutions are inspired by previous work in Smart Cards. Smart Cards are considered a trusted environment for identification, authentication, and confidentiality. this paper proposes an optimization-oriented design method for harmonic tuned power amplifier (PA) using particle swarm optimization (PSO). Optimal source and load impedances for achieving high efficiency are obtained at the package plane of a Wolfspeed CGH40010 transistor. PSO is employed to optimize matching networks for fitting the desired trajectories of impedances. the designed PA with optimized matching networks was simulated in Keysight's advanced design system for verification. the results showed that the saturation efficiency of the PA reaches 75% at 3.5 GHz with associated output power of 42 dBm, which verified that the method can be used to design high efficiency PA for 5G mobile communication systems. © 2021, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Network attacks affect the security of basic network facilities and critical information systems and cause serious damage to the national security. It is vital and important to establish a platform of software and hardware security vulnerability for collecting, verifying, sharing vulnerabilities. Aiming at the problems of low automation, high labor cost in the current domestic and foreign vulnerability sharing platform, this paper designs and implements a security vulnerability sharing platform based on a web crawler. the crawler technology is used to crawling the vulnerabilities’ data automatically. the design of Artificial Neural Networks is usually complex given the number of hyperparameters and predictors to be determined with crossed sensitivities. In the case of air quality, several antecedents seek to predict concentrations of pollutants, but generally, it is done with default Neural Network parameters and predictors selected with expert knowledge, which biases the results. In regions with scarce air quality measurements, this problem is even more complex. this study aims to explore and present a novel methodology for the design of a Multilayer Perceptron-type Neural Network for particulate matter prediction. Non-linear machine learning hybrid methods are implemented for the selection of predictors using a testing bench Perceptron and Self-Organizing Maps. the final model showed a better fit (correlation coefficient of 0.88 during the testing stage with new data and an root mean squared error of 1.8 μgm-3) than an expert model trained for the same study case and can be adapted for other regions and in other fields of study. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. In the era of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing is reshaping how things are made. At the heart of it is the Industrial Internet of things (IIoT), where smart sensors and connections create a digital system for factories. this paper highlights how IIoT facilitates real-time data exchange, aiding quick decision-making and creating adaptable manufacturing setups. Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) integration is also discussed, showing how the line between physical and digital elements in manufacturing is getting blurred. Big Data Analytics is another game-changer, supporting data-driven decisions and predictive maintenance. the paper also digs into Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, showing how they automate tasks and continuously learn, improving manufacturing processes.
