Currently, the main directions of development of computer systems and components (CSC) in a positional binary number system (PNS) are improving the speed of implementation of arithmetic operations (including integer arithmetic operations) and reliability of their functioning. the complexity, scale, and volume of various computational tasks and tasks of managing large and complex information systems which are solved by computer-controlled systems (CS) necessitate the expansion of the CS functions and capabilities. It leads to an increase in the number and complexity of computing equipment and systems equipment, and the complexity of their software. this, in turn, necessitates the adoption of additional measures to ensure the high reliability of the CS and, first of all, the need to take additional measures to ensure the high fault tolerance of the CSC. the purpose of the article is to design of structures of a fault-tolerance computer system that functions in residue classes in the case of applying the active fault tolerance method.

Part-in-whole retrieval (PWR) is an important problem in the field of computer-aideddesign (CAD) with applications in design reuse, feature recognition and suppression and so on. Initially, we present a non parametric (and hence threshold independent) algorithm for segmenting CAD models (represented as meshes) which does not require any user intervention. As there is no labelled segmented dataset available for part clustering, we propose the use of autoencoders, one of the approaches used in deep networks along with hierarchical clustering. the features for autoencoder is derived from the Gauss map of the segments. the autoencoder network is then trained and validated using a hierarchical clustering-based approach that generates a dictionary of labels for each segment. PWR is then done by testing a query model withthe network that retrieves models having the query as their subset. Comparison of the segmentation algorithm withthe state-of-the-art approaches indicate that it performs better or on par. the algorithm was also tested for noisy models. Results of the part clustering and PWR are also presented for models from a CAD dataset along withthe discussions. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

this project is an attempt to investigate the efficacy of a Robotic Arm as a paradigm-changing teaching aid in a graphomotorics therapy environment. the project investigates if a collaboration between human teacher and a robotic arm can significantly improve the quality of a teaching session. A series of experiments tested two modes of robotic arm movements: "Human-like" and "Robotic" with two different robots. the experiments featured exercises that improve graphomotorics contributing abilities such as fine motoric skills, serial and spatial memory. these exercises, based predominantly on pointing and gesturing by a teacher, were conducted by a robotic arm, and included feedback on successful completion of the task. Results of preliminary experiments showed that in addition to positive interaction between the student and the robot, the basic relationship between student and teacher was also impacted by shifting the balance of power. To play is often known as a voluntary process in a temporary sphere with a unique disposition. In contemporaneity, games are a promising field for application and study, since they are sociocultural products with great impacts on the economy and in technology. throughout the history of the development of this medium, the sensory experience included the perceptual channels of vision, hearing, and cognition to solve problems. therefore, this study presents the theme through a systematic literature review and describes several applications and approaches that accentuate and diversify the user's sensory experience. the main contribution of the study is to elucidate and illustrate the multisensory experiences that involve the use of the kinesthetic system (voice and body) and the haptic system (smell and taste). Moreover, visual experiences have been enhanced through augmented reality, virtual reality, and 3-D visualization. the results and discussion note the particularities of this media and aspects for the feasibility of future applications. It is hoped that this research will pave the way for future work involving case studies of games that allow for aesthetic experiences beyond solely visual experiences to deepen the sensitivity analysis and the process of generating meaning as well as emotional, and cognitive responses.

Deep Neural Networks (DNN) are recently used in different fields such as autonomous driving, cancer detection, and also space explorations. A certain level of reliability of DNN are indeed needed to be applied in these fields. More recently, FPGA devices have become a target platform for DNN applications due to their high flexibility and computational power. Unfortunately, the SRAM-based FPGAs are considered to be susceptible to soft errors which can lead to errors in execution. Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) is one of the effective mitigation techniques for masking SEUs for FPGA but causes an increase in power consumption and area overhead. In this study, we evaluate the reliability of MNIST DNN implemented in Xilinx SRAM-based FPGA. through fault injection simulation, we identified the most vulnerable parts of the designthat SEU can generate errors. We improved the SEU reliability of DNN with our proposed hardening strategy named reduced approximate TMR. SEU reliability was enhanced by applying reduced approximate TMR to the most sensitive layers of MNIST DNN, achieving 40% improvement in reliability while recourses utilization and power consumption were increased by 8% and 4%, respectively.
