the first step of the methodology focuses on air traffic controllers situated at a workstation within an Air Traffic Control (ATC) room. the 3D CAD software RAMSIS uses manikins to represent subjects under study. Using this software, three air traffic controllers of different heights were added. the three air traffic controllers were modeled sitting at their workstation in different positions while doing typical on-shift duties, including reaching for a phone and looking at each of the three monitors at their workstation. the Joint Capacity analysis tool in RAMSIS was used to study which joints face the most discomfort on each air traffic controller. It was found that the hip joints and the shoulder joints unanimously faced the highest amount of fatigue in this setting. Suggested modifications to the control room include adjustable desks, monitors, and chairs so that different air traffic controllers can be accommodated. Potential discomfort for air traffic controllers facing ergonomic issues on the job can create vulnerabilities that extend to the public. In second step, an analysis tool is introduced for analyzing the obstruction on the window caused by computer monitors in the Air Traffic Control room. Obstruction analysis was done to investigate the need for a reorganized workspace considering the user's need to see out the window to perform their job tasks and to decrease the need for repetitive standing to see out the window. It was found that approximately 40% of the window is obscured by the monitors and therefore the monitor configuration should be changed. the projected change to a three-in-a-row monitor setup decreased the obstruction to the window and therefore improved the ergonomic setup of the workstation. In step 3, a RAMSIS simulation and analysis of the forklift blind spots helps provide improved safety for the forklift operation. Ankle fractures, common in high-risk sports, cause significant pain and can be treated with mobilizers. this study presents the development and validation of a continuous passive motion prototype for ankle rehabilitation. Based on mechatronic design methodology, the prototype focuses on dorsiflexion and plantar flexion movements. the design includes foot support and a gliding system inspired by backhoe excavator mechanisms. computer-aided design, material selection, and finite element analysis in Solidworks were used to conceptualize, visualize, and simulate the prototype. Safety factors of critical system components exceeded safety limits to ensure structural integrity. Digital PID control with an RST controller achieved precise angular position control, complemented by a motor speed control algorithm for fast, precise motion. the prototype, constructed with appropriate materials, accommodates different foot sizes and provides comfort and safety during therapy. Professional physical therapists and end-users (without clinical history) performed quantitative validation. the evaluation focused on physical adaptation, functional range of motion, hygiene, protocol compliance, feasibility, ergonomics, reliability, design, and perceived safety. Structured surveys indicated good acceptance, with average ratings ranging from 3.5 to 4.8. A positive perception of the surveyed population was obtained, which implicates the prototype’s feasibility in therapeutic applications. the study highlights the potential of mechatronic design in developing effective rehabilitation devices and offers a promising solution for ankle fracture recovery in sports medicine and physical therapy. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

the contemporary "mobile phone family" has become an increasingly common label, and the neck muscle fatigue caused by it has gradually become common. there are many ways to prevent neck muscle fatigue on the Internet. Among them, the most common methods are aerobics teaching, serious games to move the neck, and hot packs have been massaged. Among them, users generally think that they cannot adhere to health exercises, hot packs and massage You need to use the instrument and you need to know the right way, otherwise, it will be counterproductive. therefore, serious games that can move the neck have become a popular way to prevent neck muscle fatigue. Previous studies have mostly explored whether certain games are effective in alleviating neck muscle fatigue, and there are no specific numerical studies. the innovative point of this research is to explore relatively specific values and combine them with game design to help users with potential muscle fatigue to relax while entertaining. the range is the most important in serious games, and it will affect the parameters of multiple serious games. therefore, it is necessary to carry out experimental best numerical research on the operating parameters of these two control methods. Stretching and isometric contraction, observing its characteristic changes in electromyography and changes in subjective fatigue, the results of the study better combine serious games with alleviating muscle damage, so that users can prevent cervical muscle damage during the entertainment.

“Algorithm design and Analysis” is a professional compulsory course for computer undergraduates. A solid grasp of the content of the course is of great importance for students to engage in relevant positions after graduation such as algorithm engineers or to further study. Nowadays, a large number of application problems need to be solved by machine learning algorithms. In fact, the underlying implementation details of many machine learning algorithms are also derived from these basic algorithms. However, there are few descriptions related to machine learning algorithms in current algorithm courses. In the process of teaching basic algorithms, if automatic association with machine learning algorithms can be realized, knowledge will root in the core knowledge base of students, thereby realizing continuous extension of knowledge. Based on this, this paper effectively associates divide and conquer and greedy algorithms with the machine learning representative --- decision tree algorithm, so as to improve the students' analogy of relevant contents and knowledge and draw inferences from one instance.

this work presents AdaptiveSGA, a model for implementing Dynamic Difficulty Scaling through Adaptive Game AI via the Symbiotic Game Agent framework. the use of Dynamic Difficulty Balancing in modern computer games is useful when looking to improve the entertainment value of a game. Moreover, the Symbiotic Game Agent, as a framework, provides flexibility and robustness as a design principle for game agents. the work presented here leverages both the advantages of Adaptive Game AI and Symbiotic Game Agents to implement a robust, efficient and testable model for game difficulty scaling. the model is discussed in detail and is compared to the original Symbiotic Game Agent architecture. Finally, the paper describes how it was applied in simulated soccer. Finally, experimental results, which show that Dynamic Difficulty Balancing was achieved, are briefly analyzed. © 2020, IFIP international Federation for Information Processing.

Conventional static CMOS design employing pull-up and pull-down network for implementing logic functions has been one of the most reliable and widely used design techniques over the years. However, high input impedance and transistor count remains a major problem which result in high silicon area, high power consumption and increased delay. this research focus on reducing power, delay and transistor count in Conventional Static CMOS based 4-bit Carry Look Ahead adder. the conventional static CMOS XOR and gates are replaced by Gate Diffusion Input technique and Pass Transistor logic based XOR and AND gates in the input side to enhance performance parameters and to reduce transistor count. Two new modified CLA adder have been proposed and their performance parameters have been compared with conventional circuit using Cadence simulation tools. the proposed designs showed significant performance improvement while keeping the advantages of static CMOS Logic. © 2020 IEEE.

As lithium-ion batteries are gradually applied to various energy storage environments, research on the health of lithium-ion batteries is becoming increasingly important. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is a practical method for studying batteries, through which multiple health parameters of the battery can be obtained to evaluate the health status of the battery. this article mainly designs an eight-channel battery EIS measurement device for multiple lithium-ion batteries. In the static state of the system, eight lithium-ion batteries are connected to the Neware battery testing system, which can carry out charge and discharge experiments at the same time. After a battery channel is selected, EIS can be measured and the electrochemical impedance spectrum of the battery can be transmitted back to the host computer. © 2020 IEEE.

throughout decades, many concepts to renovate cities have surfaced such as digital city, green city, smart cities and so forth, so that citizens can reach urban services and exercise their activities easily with respect to the environment's sustainability, by limiting energy waste, optimization of urban infrastructure costs, automation of many routines and efficient allocation of human resources. In effect, decision makers varying from government administrations to private sector have log started using information technology asa mean of to evolve cities, and maintain a consistent correlation between the population culture and the environment they live in, moreover, the solutions they came up with where specific to many problems but unique to each one,as efficient as it may seem to be. Moreover, the technology sector was long ago mature enough to turn inanimate objects into smart objects that interact with each other, and send data. As a result, these solutions make it possible to extract a great amount of data, which is used to turn future predictions more accurate. Nevertheless, the technical solutions are not designed to cover data from multiple sectors, and if so, they lack the possibility to be extended with new sector layers without going through a whole development processes that can turn the old system obsolete. therefore, as a solution in this paper,to cover new aspects and facilitate addition of new layers of data types, we brought out an abstract layer to cover not only natural events (temperature,humidity, water level, noise) that occurs in the urban field of a city, but also,urban events for example: train arrivals, accidents (traffic, security infringements), population concentration variation, etc, we called it complex events. Furthermore, we also present the architecture of a system that is scalable and supports the variety of complex events, how it collects and broadcast it to external actors. (C) 2020 the Authors.
