Steiner minimal tree construction is a key step in the physical design of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI). Further considering X-architecture with better wirelength optimization and allowing wires to pass through obstacles to a certain extent before signal distortion, a novel X-architecture Steiner Minimal Tree with Limited Routing Length inside Obstacle (XSMT-LRLO) problem is formed. therefore, the XSMT-LRLO based on Discrete Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (XSMT-LRLO-DPSO) is proposed. Firstly, in order to significantly reduce the times of evaluations, a preprocessing strategy based on a lookup table is proposed. Secondly, XSMT-LRLO-DPSO is effectively en-coded by adopting the edge-point pairs encoding method adapted to an evolutionary iterative process. then, aiming at the XSMT-LRLO problem, which is a discrete problem, a discrete update strategy based on mutation operation and crossover operation is proposed. Finally, adjustment and refinement strategies are introduced to respectively improve the obstacles bypassing ability and wirelength optimization ability of the proposed algorithm. the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm makes full use of the routing resources within the obstacles, and effectively saves routing resources. Compared with similar algorithms, the proposed algorithm has the strongest wirelength optimization ability.

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is one of the online learning implementations. the average of the completion rate from the courses in MOOC is still relatively low. the participants of the study are people from Indonesia and most of them are workers, students, and college students. this research aimed to determine the extent to which the MOOC Coursera platform follows the principles of the instructional design and interface design i.e., Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction, Chickering and Gamson's Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education, and Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules of the Interface design. Moreover, this research was also reviewed from the usability aspect. the study showed that Coursera has implemented all of the instructional design principles and seven from eight points of interface design principles. this research also proposed improvement recommendations based on the results of data analysis from respondents who were mostly from areas on the island of Java namely Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek).

We present study on the integration of augmented reality using Microsoft Hololens and architectural design documentation for cultural heritage application by practical evaluation method. Our goal is to understand the potential of AR implementation in architectural narration and documentation. Herein, we outlined our works: 1) Visualization of architectural forms;2) Data visualization embedded in augmented environment;3) Basic user interaction mechanism. Our focus of the study is on the methodology and workflows involved in the AR platform. the case study is traditional Balinese architectures that constitute issues of materiality, tectonics, aesthetics and embodied local and specific information, hence the cultural heritage. Our study found that AR and Hololens provide a promising tool for 3D visualization and experiences particularly in cultural heritage application where computer-generated objects are augmented into real and physical objects. A novel multilevel inverter (MLI) structure is introduced in this paper. Since one of the crucial factors in designing and usability of an MLIs is the ratio of the total number of semiconductor devices to the output voltage levels, this ratio is reduced in the proposed structure in comparison to the conventional MLIs. the less utilized devices mean, the lower the cost of implementation, size of the system, required installation area, control complexity, and also higher reliability. the proposed structure is modular and can operate in two modes (symmetric and asymmetric), which are discussed in this paper. To express the worthiness of the presented structure, a comparison withthe conventional cascade H-bridge MLI is presented. Also, the nearest level control (NLC) switching technique is applied to generate the output voltage waveform. the computer-aided simulation is made to prove the feasibility and performance of the suggested structure. the analytical results are carried out by the Simulink of MATLAB.

Dekoruma is an Indonesia-based home and living e-Commerce with an urgency to improve the quality of service and shopping experience for its customers. this study is conducted to evaluate usability aspects of Dekoruma's current e-Commerce site and propose an alternative design to improve the usability. the methods used for data collection and analysis in this study are the mixed method approach, and the alternative design development is conducted using the User-Centered design (UCD) approach. the quantitative data are collected through online questionnaires addressing users' demographic data and behavior in using Dekoruma website and System Usability Scale. Usability testing is conducted to collect qualitative data directly from end-users. Identified usability problems are mapped to relate interface design principles. Proposed solutions are built into a high fidelity prototype as the end result. the usability testing of the alternative design shows that most of the proposed solutions are able to solve usability problems encountered beforehand. Further improvement is still needed on product filter and product detail features.

Software product line engineering (SPLE) is a paradigm to develop diverse mass products in a single development. It has proven to be more efficient compared to the single product paradigm. We believed by using SPLE as the foundation of a web application framework, development process can be cheaper, faster and better in terms of quality. However, conforming SPLE principle in a web application framework is not a trivial task, there are several problems to solve. In this paper, we described those problems and proposed a framework design to solve several of those problems. We use Abstract Behavioural Specification (ABS) and various SPLE tools to manage implementation variability and generate the end product. Our feasibility study shows the framework can be used for developing a family of web applications in the domain of Adaptive Information System for Charity Organizations (AISCO).
