We present a feature and parameterization approach for constructing garment surface with garment sections from human body sections. the body section is obtained from polygonal 3D human models withthe horizontal cutting plane based on detecting feature points on human model. then we make the interstice measure which converts from garment tolerance as the parameter to build garment sections from body sections. Based on the characteristics and structure of the machining process language, machining process language could be represented by "four elements". then constructed the knowledge base based on ontology. through dividing the process statements into five "blocks" and extracting the process semantic information, proposed a process language understanding method. At last, combined withthe graphics understanding, we developed a prototype system and gave a case. the result showed that the method was effective.

Based on, the CAD soft ware of valves parameters of telescopic shock absorber was developed. A practical design withthe CAD soft ware was given, the performance test was conducted for the telescopic shock absorber designed by CAD, and the tested values fit the desired ones well. the experiment results show that the model of optimization design is accurate, and the CAD soft ware is reliable.

Detailed models are required in computergraphics for many applications. However considering the processing and transporting time, it is often necessary to approximate these models. In this paper we provide an effective simplification method for mesh models, which decreases the size of complex models and keeps visual features. We employ the integral invariant to distinguish the desired features on the models with different scales, then use the k-means clustering algorithm to find the fixed feature vertex cluster in which the vertices are kept approximately identical by our best, finally provide a weighting map to guide the simplifications. the proposed algorithm by this paper provides significant improvement on feature-preserving, especially sharp feature-preserving, and it can also be combined with other mesh simplification schemes to improve their effects.

this paper presents a method to solve the problem of common design structure discovery from a large number of CAD models. First, a CAD model is transformed into a Face Adjacency Graph (FAG) and each node of FAG is mapped to a point in two-dimensional plane after representing face shape information with two coordinates. So the shapes of models are directly compared through the point coordinates of FAGs' nodes. thus, the common design structures are just the frequent appearing sub graphs of FAGs. Second, we develop an algorithm to discovery frequent subgraphs of FAGs. the main steps of the algorithm include: (1)frequent candidate sub graph generation based on merging of last discovered,frequent sub graphs;(2)subgraph matching with graph descriptive code. the. experiment shows a reasonable result of the discovered common design structures with our approach.

Chinese chess is one of the most popular board games worldwide and many researches on move generation, position evaluation, searching, opening and endgame play, have been developed. However, few work has been done in the basic representation of Chinese chess board. Currently the representation of 10 x 9 integer array is widely used in Chinese chess programming. In this paper, based on concrete theoretical analysis, a new presentation of Chinese chess board with 6 long integers is proposed. Compared to the traditional 10 x 9 it-array representation that is often redundant in endgames, the cost of storage withthe new representation is greatly reduced by an order of magnitude.

Semi-similarity design is a reasonable and effective approach for motorcycle-hydraulic-disk brake design, which is an indeterminate problem because of incomplete required parameters. First, equation of semi-similar level scale is set up through analyzing the design model of motorcycle-hydraulic-disk brake. Second, algorithm of semi-similarity design and a fizzy evaluation model for design scheme are proposed. third, work flowchart of semi-similarity design based on the above strategy is given and a software system of motorcycle-hydraulic-disk brake semi-similarity design is developed. Finally, the proposed strategy and method are effectively demonstrated in an instance of motorcycle-hydraulic-disk brake semi-similarity design.
