In response to the growing demand for secure cryptographic methods in information security, quantum cryptography has emerged as a promising avenue. this paper introduces a novel quantum cryptography technique utilizing Brown state, a resource proven valuable in various quantum information tasks. the proposed protocol involves three key parties: Alice, Bob, and Charlie, each entrusted with specific bits of the Brown state. these bits are strategically used to enhance security and verify the integrity of transmitted information. the report provides insights into the design, applications, and underlying principles of the proposed technique, emphasizing its potential for future quantum communication systems. the two applications introduced in the work are Quantum key agreement and an Information splitting application both utilizing the designed protocol at its core. Practical guidance on preparing the Brown state using Qiskit is also included.

the report authors have developed a LANDSLIP software package for visual modeling and landslide slopes stress-strain state calculation in JAVA programming language. It has various modifications (flat and spatial versions, various calculation models etc.). the user interacts withthe LANDSLIP by means of visual modeling on the graphics User Interface. the user does not interact with all other LANDSLIP objects, they are completely controlled by the graphics User Interface. It creates all other objects, modifies, uses, and, if necessary, removes them. the interaction between the user and the graphics User Interface is performed via the menu system. Using the graphical editor menu, the user can create objects to describe the landslide structure and manipulate the additional sliding surfaces, groundwater lines set and program functions responsible for mathematical calculations and design documentation preparation. the LANDSLIP software package is equipped with interfaces that facilitate collecting data from the MicroStation environment, digital map, and geological database. the geological cross-sections are automatically created, and geotechnical soil parameters are evaluated. the software enables the stability analysis of any slopes or scarps using various calculation methods. It ensures wide opportunities to predict, evaluate and combat natural threats. the LANDSLIP software package results reliability was verified by comparative calculations via similar Canadian SLOPE/W software package at the design office of the "Turow" brown coal mine in Poland. the results differences are within the acceptable limits and depend on the peculiarities of initial-boundary conditions input in various graphic editors, various calculation models, etc.

Game-based learning is becoming increasingly prevalent in higher education as it fosters critical thinking, creative problem solving, and ensures cognitive development and social learning. this paper presents findings from a study to understand whether serious games can be effective in communicating concepts related to magmatic processes. We developed a serious game "Magma Pop" for use in an undergraduate geology classroom. the goal was to create an engaging experience to reinforce factual knowledge on mineral formulae and conceptual understanding of the fractional crystallization process to clarify the link between changing temperatures and magma and mineral composition. Students' game experience was evaluated during an in-class activity followed by an online survey. We found that despite a few technical glitches, the game concept and user experience were positively rated by students. the proposed game was well received and has now been integrated as a regular component of the course.
