Due to the advances of shipbuilding technology, ships are gradually developing in the direction of large-scale and intellectualization. However, the hydrodynamic interaction has been pronounced as the increase in dimensions of ships and has become a significant influencing factor of ships sailing in restricted waters, and the accuracy of ship motion control is limited due to the complex environmental disturbances. Based on the potential flow theory the Hess & Smith panel method, the ship hydrodynamic interaction is calculated in real time, and based on the MMG equation, an adaptive path tracking control method is devised that can be integrated with motions of equation of ships moving in restricted waters. through frequency domain transformation, the ship response model in restricted waters is simplified to a ship dynamic model, and the model missing terms in the simplified process is adaptively estimated. Accounting for the computational efficiency of hydrodynamic interaction, a path tracking controller for ships in restricted waters is designed based on PD control method with appropriate parameters. By comparing the control effect of PD controller in the model without adaptive estimation and adaptive estimation model, the effectiveness of adaptive estimation is verified.

this paper endeavors to accomplish Level 4 and Level 5 self-driving by devising a design architecture for cloud-based self-driving vehicles. It incorporates a hybrid positioning navigation method [24, 25] and diverse sensing systems [9, 5, 7, 27] to capture precise environmental information, along with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensors and wheel odometry to complement other sensors and improve positioning accuracy and stability [26, 27, 25]. the architecture utilizes a combination of Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET), Internet of Vehicles (IoV), and in-vehicle millimeter wave systems for high-level information communication [9, 8]. To enable real-time monitoring, analysis, and application of vehicle data, the architecture leverages cloud computing, particularly the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform [10, 11], and takes into account data security risks. the research in this paper is important for promoting the development of autonomous driving technology and provides valuable references for research and practical applications in related fields.

Several of the current procedures for detecting cancer, such as mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and biopsy, are either expensive, painful, intrusive, or have limitations in accuracy and sensitivity. As a result, there is a need for a simple, noninvasive, and cost-effective tool for detecting cancer at an early stage. Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors offer a wide range of uses in primary care and biomedical applications for intelligent sensing. Furthermore, fiber-optic FBGs have several benefits that set them apart. the most noteworthy of these applications, of course, are incredibly valuable human health indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature. Temperature and blood pressure vary depending on a person’s physical, involuntary, nervous, and mental state. therefore, measuring vital parameters, especially temperature can help in the early identification of symptoms of a disease. Research suggests that temperature variation is observed in cancerous cells (breast, cervix, and blood vessels). FBGs can be utilized as thermal sensors to measure temperature changes with great sensitivity and precision. FBG sensors also face some challenges, such as low signal-to-noise ratio, cross-sensitivity, and environmental interference. therefore, optimizing the Q factor of FBG sensors is crucial for improving their performance and reliability for cancer identification. In the current study, an optimized FBG sensor was designed and simulated. the average Q-factor obtained in 244.26.

Without the capacity to see the objects near them, individuals are more prone to collisions which cause serious repercussions. Navigation in crowded or unfamiliar environments can be difficult for blind people due to obstacles such as people, furniture, and uneven ground. Creating a system to save people's lives from unexpected collisions is essential. Enhanced Mobility for Visually Impaired: A Smart Walker with Object Detection was proposed to defeat all these issues. the system aims to design a smart walker that helps visually impaired people improve their mobility and stability. the proposed system uses a combination of computer vision, ultrasonic sensors, and real-time audio feedback to increase the mobility and safety of blind people during navigation. the Smart Walker has an onboard camera that scans the surroundings and uses computer vision (CV) techniques to detect obstacles and estimate the object's distance. the accuracy of the system is 86.25 percent.
