the rapid growth in the development of Internet-based information systems increases the demand for natural language interfaces that are easy to set up and maintain. Unfortunately, the problem of deep understanding natural language queries is far from being solved. In this paper, an automated question answering system based on domain ontology and question template is proposed, which does not need deep understanding of user's questions. Ontology was employed to model the interesting domain, and properties of concepts are described by a collection of question templates. the system captures a user's intention by matching his questions to predefined templates, and return answers corresponding to template's query focus. the system has been applied to mobile service consulting area, and experimental results show that the system has high practicability as well as maintainability.

A flexible and scalable architecture that implements real-time synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) imaging on high performance clusters (HPCs) is introduced in this paper. Combing HPCs with application of a hybrid MPI and OpenMP parallel programming model, the lookup table algorithm for SAS image reconstruction based on the time-domain correlation algorithm is realized in parallel. Considering the huge computation load of the lookup table algorithm, the pulse-compressed data is partitioned into strips along the range direction which are distributed to the nodes of HPCs. the scalability allows the lookup table imaging cluster nodes to be added or removed without needing to recompile the existing software, and automatic burden balancing is considered. the result of lake trial verifies that this parallel algorithm on HPCs can provide good quality images and meantime have highly real time rate.

the spatial relations representation modeling is a basic task of computer graphics comprehension, however, previous modeling is usually aimed at a certain kind of relations such as direction, topology and distance. the models are relatively independent and inconsistent with human's cognitive logic, thus building a unified spatial relations representation modeling based on different reference frames is required. In this paper we first discuss the importance of a reference frame for building a spatial relations representation modeling, then introduce the feasibility of histogram modeling for building a unified spatial relations representation modeling, and then describe the construction of spatial relations representation modeling based on visual area histogram under the deictic reference frame, in order to testify the correctness of the modeling, two typical examples are given, finally point out the advantages of this modeling, as well as the future work.
