Fog computing being an extension of cloud computing is meant to provide services at the edge of the network. It is expected to deal withthe QoS problems which cloud computing cannot solve alone. One of the challenges in this heterogeneous device environment with a high mobility is an optimized service placement. Highly mobile end-devices and constantly changing fog node resources require distributed orchestration methods for optimized performance and resilience. We propose a service placement orchestrator model which is distributed across all the fog nodes for better resilience. It supports end-device mobility since end-devices can dynamically connect to fog nodes. And the service placement is optimized based on IMOPSO and AHP methods. As it is visible from the test results, currently a placement problem solving takes at least 50% of time in a powerful node such as PC, but it can slow down even more in a less powerful hardware. However, it is a fully functional solution in real-life conditions with up to 10 nodes and 30 services delivering a placement in almost 0.5 second.

In recent years, there has been an increased interest in understanding how sentiment analysis of social media users can be achieved using machine learning techniques. By examining online discourse, an assessment may be made of an individual's mood patterns over a period of time. this study will focus on users of Twitter because of the unique challenges associated with analysing of these short messages known as Tweets. they include words and other forms of media, such as emoticons, images and video. We propose a multimodal technique for evaluating the words, acronyms and emoticons of daily posts by 179 users to identify those experiencing symptoms of depression. Harmonic analysis was employed in a hybrid approach of word based and learning based linguistic content analysis. A support vector machine was then used to predict the valence of a Tweet to be either ‘Negative’, ‘Neutral’ or ‘Positive’ and compared this with other well known sentiment analysis approaches. Outcomes were aggregated daily to compute a user's mood for 30 days. Experimental findings demonstrated that this technique has a better accuracy of predicting mood than current state-of-the-art methods.

A practical and scalable ultra-high-definition resolution display system for multi-screen display wall is constructed based on multiple distributed low-definition display nodes, and the collaborative processing mechanism between distributed display nodes is the key to the performance of the display system. In order to improve the performance of image synchronization between distributed nodes, a node collaboration mechanism based on IEEE1588 time synchronization protocol and phase-locked loop is proposed. A synchronization processing system applied to ultra-high-definition resolution displays is designed, which not only shortens the image processing time but also improves the image synchronization processing performance. the system synchronization test results show that the maximum display frame difference between splicing display units is 0.47 frame and the average system delay is 98.67ms. the provided system can effectively shorten system data processing time, solve synchronization problems of ultra-high-definition resolution displays, meet requirements of large screen display images, and improve users' experience effect.

With large number of smart devices accessing the power Internet of things, cooperative edge computing has become a new computing paradigm for delay sensitive business. However it still faces some challenges today: 1) task allocation in edge networks, 2) route selection during data transmission. this paper proposes a cooperative computing mechanism based on edge routing optimization for power Internet of things to solve these problems. Firstly, establish a task allocation model based on multi-edge-node cooperation in which the data routing process includes three stage: sending route, merging route and returning route. the model is designed to minimize the average task completion delay. Secondly, Improved Biogeography-based Optimization in Task Allocation and Sending Route Selection (IBBO-TASRS) algorithm is proposed to solve the task allocation and route selection. the simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can reduce the service delay well.
