In the last twelve years there were intensive researches to find new methods for image processing. One of these methods is the Mojette transform (MOT). this transform is an exact discrete Radon transform defined for a set of specific projections. the MOT is used mainly in image processing applications. there were several implementation using personal computers. there are some applications where real time computing is a must, but the implementations before can not accomplish this requirement. there is analyzed the Mojette algorithm implementation for images of 256times256 pixels. there is also presented the implementation of MOT and Inverse Mojette transform (IMOT) on embedded reconfigurable platform. the paper outline the development work based on Xilinx ML310 board.

the researches of Web service fasten on composition process, and are lack of the formalized description on dynamic attributes of service component itself. Aiming to these, a new dynamic and concurrent model of Web service component is presented. Firstly, this paper analyzes the process of state transition of service component under certain actions, and then depicts the dynamic transition process of service component with the state transition graph. At last, the physical representation method in memory and the algorithms to judge equivalence of state transition graph are given. Comparing with existing researches, the dynamic evolvement of service component under the actions is considered, and the algorithm to judge equivalence of service components provides an effective tool for model verification.

Real-time collaborative editing systems allow a group of users to view and edit the same document at the same time from geographically dispersed sites connected by communication networks. Consistency maintenance in concurrent access of shared objects is one of the key issues in designing these types of systems. this paper proposes a P2P-based locking schema for concurrency control in internet-based real-time collaborative editing systems. this schema can distribute locking services to all collaborative sites and quickly find out the locking service nodes of given shared objects. the characteristic of distributed locking services solves the hot spot problem in centralized locking schema, and the capability of quickly locating locking service nodes resolves the broadcast communication problem in the existing distributed locking schemas. It also provides the basic locking function in collaborative editing systems and can be used in varied locking polices.

the design and prototyping of a distant and cooperative manufacturing system controlling the progress of tasks in a shop-floor level is more complicated than a regular e-commercial system. Even being highly recommended for achieving agile manufacturing, it is still in its fantasy due to a high control complexity. In this study, we proposed a design method for the distant and cooperative manufacturing control using agent-based approach. A reference model using object-oriented technology is presented to facilitate the development of distant and cooperative controlling of a manufacturing system. We have successfully implemented a distant and cooperative manufacturing control prototype based on the proposed reference model.

In scientific and engineering scenarios we can notice the predominance of explicit knowledge being manipulated and distributed, which makes recommender systems very useful in this environment. But along with a knowledge management approach this kind of system can support the organization in better identifying competences, help engage users in a continuous and dynamic knowledge exchange, and customize knowledge dissemination as much as possible. In this work we detail a collaborative recommender system which is used in a Knowledge Management Environment for Scientific and Engineering contexts; we show how this approach can be aimed at a KM process and how this approach can deal with other kinds of knowledge used in research centers and universities.

MDA and AOP techniques are used in combination with each other in software design. In MDA, one can use AOP's aspect-oriented concept to create a model so as to separate the concerns. the aspects in AOP can be used as models in MDA to be transformed, checked, queried and maintained. the model-driven based aspect-oriented model weaving framework (MAMW) is a form of model transformation, which separates concerns and improves the abstract level by modeling the crosscutting in aspect-orientation to aspect model. the woven model Mw can be mapped to xKL language and interpreted, at the same time it can be used as metamodel to create object model Mwo, and then the object model Mwo can be interpreted to executable objects by an interpreter, finally the executable objects are used to provide external services through socket port. MAMW improved the abstract level of model transformation, and it supports the newest model transformation criterion QVT. It eliminates the variety of model transformation technique to some extent and at the same time it is simple, well regulated and executable.

Due to the Web's continued growth, the need for flexibility, adaptability and rapid response time to user query has assumed greater importance in information service systems. the dynamics of information services are constantly changing. the users demand and expect a "flawless any time anywhere" service availability standard. the client-server model of distributed computing in vogue is increasingly becoming inefficient in coping with the rising demand of information services. Faded information field (FIF) architecture with Push and Pull mobile agent technologies was proposed recently addresses these issues effectively. FIF balances the cost of information service provision and utilization where service provider (SP) fades the information contents through Push-MAs and the user sends in Pull-MAs to search the requisite information. In this work, a simulation engine was programmed to mimic the physical parameters of the system in terms of routers, servers and the level of information faded. Simulations were performed to determine the average delay of information distribution in the system under varying parameters of the system like servers, and the number of levels in which the information is faded in the system. It is demonstrated that the size of FIF along with the levels of information fading have a direct influence on the information retrieval function in the information service system.

One of the major issues in dealing with exceptions in open multi-agent systems (MAS) is lack of uniform representation of exceptions and their shared semantics. In the absence of a uniform framework different business organization may use different representations for the same exception or may interpret the same exception in different way. In order to address this issue we present an ontological approach to provide a uniform way of representing and interpreting exceptions in cross-organizational settings. this helps agents from different organizations to interpret exceptional situations in an unambiguous way and exchange exception related information using standard structures. We believe that exception ontology along with domain ontology increases the open MAS reliability and also enhances its fault tolerance capability.

Concurrency control with a reasonable granularity is one of open challenges in cooperative design systems. In this paper, a fine granular concurrency control mechanism is proposed to support simultaneous feature modifications during cooperative design activities. First, extend a de-centralized mutual exclusion agreement on a single critical section to a fully distributed concurrency control mechanism supporting multiple critical sections. Second, a feature-level concurrency control framework is devised for peer-to-peer cooperative design environments to ensure the consistency of replicated models after concurrent manipulations. Finally, a prototype of the proposed mechanism is realized on a real-time cooperative design environment consisting of two heterogeneous CAD systems, SolidWorks and Autodesk Mechanical Desktop.

this paper analyzes the architectures of JADE and J2EE: J2EE advances in developing enterprise-class applications, but it doesn't support Agent-oriented programming. JADE is suitable as a MAS development framework, but it considers less in maintainability, expansibility and stability. According to these, this paper proposes a MAS model -JadeEE (Java agent development framework enterprise extension) -which is based on JADE and J2EE. this model is an enterprise-class MAS application development framework which advances in stability, easily expansibility and maintainability. It is suitable for large-scale MAS development, has the same advantages as J2EE and keeps enterprise-class MAS running at an acceptable speed. this framework has been used in the development of GDSS (group decision support system) for typhoon comprehensive forecast effectively.
