With the explosive growth mobile cloud service, emergency military tasks on the tactical edge gradually show the characteristics of regional dispersion, dynamic change, multi-point concurrency and marginalization. At the same time, military operations show the trend of migrating information-oriented, decision-making and control to the tactical edge. In order to solve the problems of military action under the situation of tactical edge network, limited equipment access, lack of edge of tactical maneuver and edge information fusion processing capacity, an efficient mobile cloud service model for tactical edge is put forward. the model can provide flexible tactical edge information exchange and information processing ability. Also, it is suitable to self-adaptive to the frontline battlefield environment on the aspects of collaborative perception, decision making, time delay and energy consumption demand.

the intelligent, SMART environments represent a complex, complicated but vibrant technological social ecosystem generating a wide range of events of different types during their lifecycle, i.e., service delivery. these are the results of the multilateral interactions of the individual configuration items that make up the system. Naturally, the greater the number of elements that environment contains, the greater the number of events "can" arise. For each generated event, it is necessary to respond appropriately, as it is the carrier of the information value that "can" affect the correct functionality. In our contribution, we want to demonstrate how well-designed and optimized business processes allow automation and artificial intelligence to be used to manage events to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Automated detection of abnormal events in processes in real time is an urgent and important task. To identify various kinds of anomalies, various Data Mining methods are often used. Often, to obtain high accuracy of the analysis, preliminary training is required using a large amount of data and representative samples. However, it is not always possible to obtain a representative sample of various kinds of anomalies from real sources. this paper proposes an approach to modeling datasets generated by distributed heterogeneous monitoring systems.

the large push for smart transportation and self-driving cars has brought out an array of research problems and a pertinent one among them is lane detection. With Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) coming up as the leading algorithm for this purpose, a lot of research has gone into the optimization of its performance. this paper proposes the application of Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) algorithm for reducing the complexity of CNN for lane detection. the work involves implementation of a CNN model for lane detection and optimization of its inference time by reducing the number of layers while maintaining accuracy of the model with the help of DMD. the model implementation was done using TensorFlow library and the optimized model achieved accuracy levels similar to that of the baseline model. Both models were tested and it was found that the proposed model performed faster than the baseline;due to the lesser number of computations it performs as a result of reduction in its layers. this work shows that DMD as a background foreground separation tool, can be used to optimize the layers in a deep neural network trained to identify sparse details in images. © 2020 IEEE.

To overcome the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by Agile teams in distributed environment, it is proposed to use a hybrid method based on the methods of eXtreme Programming and Scrumban. the proposed approach enabling to carry out quickly the stage of project initialization, reduces project risks associated with insufficient documentation, and offers events that promote effective communication both within the team and with clients.

Technology has undergone a rapid evolution in recent years through cluster, grids, cloud and IoT. the latter is leading to the proliferation of data across various domains such as transport, health, environment. In the process, the number of connected devices continues to grow, generating an extraordinary amount of data that the traditional cloud is struggling to manage. In such a situation, the problems encountered revolve around high latency, a decrease in the level of quality of service, high bandwidth, enormous energy consumption. this situation justifies the birth of Fog computing whose role is not only to collect data from connected objects (phones, vehicles, tablets) in points of presence placed as close as possible to the users. this leads to a reduction in response time. Based on architecture models with Fog nodes in a zone, we propose a new architecture with interconnected zones. It allows us to distribute requests between zones to reduce access to the cloud to reduce latency. Our solution is to interconnect zones in a double ring mode with a set of Fog nodes in each zone. Communication between Fog nodes using the gossip protocol and the distributed hash table for inter-zone communication. We will also propose an algorithm to favour access to Fog computing over the Cloud. the rigidity of traditional network architectures, with tightly coupled control and data planes, impair their ability to adapt to the dynamic requirements of future application domains, such as the Tactile Internet or Holographic-Type Communications. Software-Defined networking (SDN) architectures, which provide programmability to configure the network, have the potential to provide the required dynamism. However, given its centralized essence, SDN suffers from scalability issues. therefore, efforts have been made to propose alternative decentralized solutions, such as the flat distributed SDN architecture. Despite its potential, the real applicability and scalability of decentralized SDN solutions are still open research questions. this paper presents a comparative analysis of the effects of different routing approaches on the scalability of flat distributed SDN architectures. Using the Open Network Operating System (ONOS) as our evaluation architecture, we have studied the tradeoff between routing overhead in the control data plane and inter-controller communications for different degrees of decentralization. We have found that routing applications, which only require control-data plane communication for setting the path, benefit more from decentralization than the ones which utilize inter-controller communications and ensure Quality of Service (QoS). Our findings highlight the need for efficient routing mechanisms to deal with inter-controller overhead while lowering the amount of control-data plane communication.

Being the fifth most spoken language in the world, use of Bangla or Bengali language has spread its breadth into the world of social media. Huge volume of user-generated Bangla data are produced daily in various social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube;online news portals and various websites. Hence, the importance of understanding the emotion and sentiment of these types of data has gain attraction to the researchers' recently. Bangla Natural Language Processing (BNLP) has emerged as a novel research domain because of these multidisciplinary scopes. In this paper, we have presented 'BanglaSenti', which is a lexicon based corpus or dataset generated solely to identify the sentiment analysis from textual data. this dataset contains 61582 Bangla words with positive, negative and neutral words. these polarities are very significant to understand the overall polarity of the sentences. Not only the corpus, but also a model simulation has been conducted in this paper to understand the usability of this dataset. the dataset is formalized as English SentiWordNet dataset so that researchers' may utilize it with the same format of codes. though the dataset is developed for sentiment analysis, it could be utilized for emotion detection, opinion/review mining and such applications. © 2020 IEEE.

Weather forecasting has several effects in our everyday life from farming to event planning. In the northwestern part of Bangladesh, various natural calamities cause the tragic death of many people and economic loss which impacts the total economic growth in Bangladesh. However, the nonlinear relationship between the input parameters and output data in the weather forecasting system makes it more complex. this study investigates the machine learning-based weather forecasting model for the north-western part of Bangladesh to enhance the accuracy of forecasting results in short periods. Artificial neural networks and extreme learning machine algorithms were used for a strong weather prediction purpose. In this experiment, thirty years of historical weather data of temperature, rain, wind, and humidity from seven weather stations in the northwestern part were collected from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). the Extreme Machine Learning (ELM) model performs better than Artificial Neural Network and the accuracy rate is 95%. © 2020 IEEE.

Polynomials are algebraic expressions involving a sum of powers in one or more variables multiplied by its coefficients. If x is a variable, a-{0}x-{n}+a-{1}x-{n-1}+a-{2}x-{n-2}+ ldots.+a-{n} then it's a (n) powers polynomial. Human is capable to solve this type of mathematical problems. In this work, we propose a system in which machines can achieve the cognitional skills that can understand the problem by visual context. By taking an input image of Handwritten polynomial equations and simplifies the problem by generating the answer as an output. Here machine can able to solve quadratic, cubic, quartic, quantic, sextic as well as (n) powers polynomials. this proposed work can be workable in an embedded system as well as a mobile application. In this scope for recognition purposes, we use a CNN model. this model dataset contains 21 classes, 10 numerals, and 3 mathematical operators and symbols, and 8 variables. the proposed workflow system automatically simplifies the Handwritten polynomial equation and has been done a really good performance. Developing an automatic equation recognizer and solver has been a desire of the researchers who worked in the field of NLP for many years. © 2020 IEEE.
