Nowadays people store much of their information in Cloud, which is a vast network of remote servers, each with a unique function. Cloud storage provides reliable storage space for the users where the data can be stored in pay-as-you-go pricing model. Cloud storage data is monitored, backed up and remotely maintained. the Cloud Storage provides the benefits of low-cost storage, easy accessibility of data and disaster recovery of the data but faces challenges on confidentiality, data security and integrity of the data. Data integrity and verification checks whether the data stored in the cloud is unaltered as the data may be altered by cloud service providers or by malicious attackers. this paper gives a brief introduction about different techniques used for data integrity and verification for cloud storage and classification of them based on the security level provisioning used in the techniques.

Blockchain is becoming more popular because of its decentralized, secured, and transparent nature. Supply chain and its management is indispensable to improve customer services, reduce operating costs and improve financial position of a firm. Integration of blockchain and supply chain is substantial, but it alone is not enough for the sustainability of supply chain systems. the proposed mechanism speaks about the method of rewarding the supply chain parties with incentives so as to improve the security and make the integration of supply chain with blockchain sustainable. the proposed incentive mechanism employs the co-operative approach of game theory where all the supply chain parties show a cooperative behavior of following the blockchain-based supply chain protocols and also this mechanism makes a fair attempt in rewarding the supply chain parties with incentives.

the paper presents an evaluation of all-reduce collective MPI algorithms for an environment based on a geographically-distributed compute cluster. the testbed was split into two sites: CI TASK in Gdansk University of Technology and ICM in University of Warsaw, located about 300 km from each other, both connected by a fast optical fiber Ethernet-based 100 Gbps network (900 km part of the PIONIER backbone). Each site hosted a set of 10 compute nodes interconnected locally by the InfiniBand switches with the traffic forwarded by specialized hardware: IBEX G40 - QDR InfiniBand RDMA based Extension Platform. A set of six all-reduce algorithms, consisting of two ring-based (including a PAP-aware pre-reduced ring), two binomial-tree based and two hierarchical ones, was tested for balanced and imbalanced process arrival patterns (PAPs). the results showed high and stable bandwidth with large data transmission latency of the branch connecting the remote sites (about 13 ms in comparison to 10 µs locally), and for the tested algorithms there was an advantage of hierarchical approach, and then binomial tree. Finally, we also observed some performance increase in PAP-aware solution in comparison to its regular counterpart. the main conclusion is that for the distributed cluster environment with imbalanced PAPs, there is a need for designing new hierarchical algorithms with PAP-aware support. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In the world of industrial communication, OPC UA has now gained significant acceptance as a flexible, scalable and easy to use standard for communication across all the layers of the automation pyramid. On the other hand in the domain of the World Wide Web, web services have proven to be very useful in providing interoperable, reusable and easily deployable software components for distributed computing architectures. In light of the concept of "Industry 4.0" where devices in today's industrial automation scenario are becoming more and more intelligent, there is a need for these two technologies to interact even more seamlessly as they are today. this paper outlines a concept which makes communication between existing web services technology and OPC UA much more intrinsic and flexible. the paper presents a software architecture of the developed concept. the last section contains a short description of a prototype developed in accordance with this architecture along with the observed results and future work.

Business investors are frequently faced with complex decisions, such as selecting the location of cold storage warehouse based on multiple inconsistent criteria. An inappropriate site selection imposes excessive effects on both customers and investors of urban areas. Nowadays, multi-attributes decision making approach are recommended to apply to progress exactness of decision making and lessen additional adverse. this work proposes a decision support framework for location selection of cold storage warehouse using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model. In this study, we have considered 6 attributes and 18 sub attributes among 3 different locations in Bangladesh as alternatives. the alternatives relative importance has been calculated by using AHP. the ultimate decision is prepared based on the arithmetical scores snatched by the alternatives. A numerical study is presented to demonstrate the possible alternative of the proposed methodology.

the paper presents a semi-automatic method for the construction of derivational networks. the proposed approach applies a sequential pattern mining technique in order to construct useful morphological features in an unsupervised manner. the features take the form of regular expressions and later are used to feed a machine-learned ranking model. the network is constructed by applying resulting model to sort the lists of possible base words and selecting the most probable ones. this approach, besides relatively small training set and a lexicon, does not require any additional language resources such as a list of alternations groups, POS tags etc. the proposed approach is applied to the lexeme sets of two languages, namely Polish and Spanish, which results in the establishment of two novel word-formation networks. Finally, the network constructed for Polish is merged with the derivational connections extracted from the Polish WordNet and those resulting from the derivational rules developed by a linguist, resulting in the biggest word-formation network for that language. the presented approach is general enough to be adopted for other languages. © LREC 2018 - 11th international conference on Language Resources and Evaluation. the purpose of this research is to identify the image of the seed. Different types of seeds are leveled into different classes through seed classification process. the demonstration was applied on more than 1000 seed images. It contains five processing modules such as Image acquisition, Pre-processing, Feature extraction, Image recognition and Show results. Seed varieties and qualities of seeds will be able to identify. the seeds species, namely Oryza sativa, Lagenaria siceraria, Cucurbita moschata, Zea mays, Benincasa hispida. Define the seeds age, shape, color, length, width, size, healthy or not, duration of seeds quality. the cost of analyzing the image will be minimal and does not require skilled labor, Seed studies--such as seed germination, can play an important role in seed purity. this research we have used CNN algorithm and the training accuracy was 87%-89% and validation accuracy was 90%-93%.

this is an era of computers and technology. Nowadays Computer Science (C.S.) and other technology-related subjects are a hot cake for the students. Due to a good job market for these subjects, students are taking computer science and other related topics without thinking about their capability and without knowing the curriculum of these subjects. So the dropout rate is getting high day by day in these subjects. Especially developing countries like Bangladesh. In this work, we have used current computer science students' data to predict their and also prospective C.S. students' future performance and the chance of dropout using machine learning algorithms like SVM, naïve Bayes, neural network, etc. We have also predicted the crucial factors that are strongly correlated to the performance of a C.S. student.

Fog computing recently emerged as a novel distributed virtualized computing paradigm, where cloud services are extended to the edge of the network, thereby increasing network capacity and reducing latencies for distributed IoT applications. A fog network consists of communication between resource-constrained fog nodes, which are computational networking storage and acceleration devices. By adopting the microservice architecture, applications are designed as a collection of independent and loosely coupled modular services called microservices installed in application containers. the placement problem is to efficiently allocate limited fog resources to applications with diverse resource requirements. this determines the overall system performance in terms of energy consumption, communication cost, load balancing and others. Placement of microservices can be done in two ways which presents a tradeoff between two placement objectives. the first strategy is placing maximal communicating microservices on each fog node. this keeps the chaining costs between the microservices low, but at the same time, it leads to high utilization at some fog nodes. Also, this strategy may not be feasible due to limited resources at fog nodes. On the other hand, the second strategy is to split communicating microservices over a network of fog nodes. this leads to data exchange between the fog nodes, which is referred to as communication cost. this strategy results in a load-balanced system, but at the same time, increases communication costs. We want low energy consumption at fog nodes and low communication costs of the applications. Placement strategies for cloud computing are generally centralized and not well suited for decentralized fog systems. therefore distributed solutions with self-organization and management capabilities are required for efficient allocation of fog resources to applications with diverse resource requirements. © 2019 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Cyberbullying has become a very prevalent issue in recent times. Not just qualifying this as a women issue, starting from politicians to a ten-year-old kid, every person is being bullied on any social platform. It is highly essential to build an artificial intelligence based model that detects the presence of bullying in cross-platform posts. However, textual datasets which are useful for model generation are highly imbalanced in nature. In this paper, we propose two main methods to handle textual data imbalancing which are synonym replacement and artificial data generation using generative adversarial neural networks. We present a systematic analysis of our approaches using a convolutional neural network classifier. Our work shows how removing data imbalance with generative adversarial network techniques before classification improves the overall performance of the model.
