In this paper, we have designed an IoT system for real time agriculture application with IaaS cloud architecture. Overall system design involves, preparation of six Wi-Fi enabled sensor nodes, design of server with In this agriculture sector, to improve the database including dedicated IP, for visualization we have designed an application with data processing ability, finally all section's are interfaced to create eventual agriculture IoT system. In the first phase, we have designed six Wi-Fi enabled sensor node's each node is connected with five sensor's i.e., temperature, humidity, pH, pressure and flow sensors. Each sensor is connected to ARM11 processor with 1GHz clock speed. In second phase, created server with predefined database. Database is generalized as a organizing the collection of data. this database which is created, only authorized persons are allowed to access the database. Database can be created by using the MySQL which is an oracle backed open source relational database the database management system(RDBMS). Database is mainly used for storing the corresponding output values which are obtained from the sensors and analyze the data for day by day. Server is a networked computer that can be run a database. Here the sever is a web server which is allocated with public IP (i.e., internet protocol) which website can host. IP is mainly two types public IP and private IP, here we are using public IP which can be accessed over the internet. Public IP is generally having unique address that can be allocated to a computing device. Web application is designed by using HTML (hypertext markup language) programming for creating web pages with text, images. PHP (hypertext preprocessor) it will be embedded in a HTML code and it can supported in a webserver. Here, using protocols are HTTP(hypertext transfer protocol) protocol it provides communication to the world wide web.

the greater availability and reduction in production cost make wearable IoT platforms perfect candidates to continuously monitor people at risk, like elderly people. In particular these platforms, along with the use of artifical intelligence algorithms, can be exploited to detect and monitor people’s activities, in particular potentially harmful situations, such as falling. However, wearable devices have limited computational power and battery life. We optimize a situation-recognition application via the well-known precision tuning practice using a dedicated state-of-the-art toolchain. After the optimization we evaluate how the reduced-precision version better fits the use case of limited-resources platforms, such as wearable devices. In particular, we achieve over 500% of speedup in execution time, and consume about 6 times less energy to carry out the classification. © 2020 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Researchers have developed novel approaches and algorithms to aid in the planning, design, and administration of water distribution systems (WDS) since the 1960s. While early research focused on simulating the hydraulic of such systems, the 1980s saw a shift in focus to water quality subjects. Recent study has delved deeper into system reliability and resilience. this paper introduces a resource constrained anomaly detector for WDS to monitor its reliability. the proposed solution uses Reservoir computing (RC), in particular Deep Echo State Network (DeepESN), to achieve high accuracy with low complexity. Furthermore, thanks to the special properties of DeepESN, online learning capabilities of this model is implemented in the micro-controller (MCU) to ensure the continuous adaptability over time of the model to adapt to the time varying data distribution. In most cases, researchers have relied on either hypothetical water distribution systems or a handful of actual systems for use as benchmark test systems. Skoltech Anomaly Benchmark (SKAB) dataset was used to measure the performance of those models. It consists of several anomalies in a sensorized WDS. the online learning feature is proposed in two different approaches: single iteration and batch decomposition Which give options for different implementations depending on the application needs and the MCU memory constraints. the accuracy, complexity and robustness of the proposed models are comprehensively validated through comparative analysis of many sets of hyper-parameters.

With the growing scale of Cyber-Physical systems (CPSs), it is challenging to maintain their stability under all operating conditions. How to reduce the downtime and locate the failures becomes a core issue in system design. In this paper, we employ a hierarchical contract-based resilience framework to guarantee the stability of CPS. In this framework, we use Assume Guarantee (A-G) contracts to monitor the non-functional properties of individual components (e.g., power and latency), and hierarchically compose such contracts to deduce information about faults at the system level. the hierarchical contracts enable rapid fault detection in large-scale CPS. However, due to the vast number of components in CPS, manually designing numerous contracts and the hierarchy becomes challenging. To address this issue, we propose a technique to automatically decompose a root contract into multiple lower-level contracts depending on I/O dependencies between components. We then formulate a multi-objective optimization problem to search the optimal parameters of each lower-level contract. this enables automatic contract refinement taking into consideration the communication overhead between components. Finally, we use a case study from the manufacturing domain to experimentally demonstrate the benefits of the proposed framework.

Emerging infrastructure-less network architectures such as WSNs consist of devices that perform packet processing in software. General-purpose network simulators do currently not possess models to simulate the intra-node delay of such devices. A TelosB mote with TinyOS spends seven and fifteen ms on processing packets of size 36 and 124 bytes. Failing to simulate this leads to an inaccurate simulation of packet loss, jitter, and latency. In this work, we create a communication software execution model of TelosB that accounts for its temporal behavior for more accurate WSN simulations in the ns-3 simulator. A challenge in doing so is to create a tracing framework for TinyOS that can be used to accurately and reliably trace its behavior. the evaluation of our model shows that it is scalable and accurate;the simulated intra-OS delay deviates at most 5% from the intra-OS delay in the real mote. Moreover, the real mote and our model both start to drop packets at 65kbps (124 bytes packets), while the original ns-3 model starts dropping packets at 101kbps. this 36% decrease in forwarding capacity demonstrates that our model enables significantly more accurate simulations.

the article is devoted to the problem of action planning in dynamic multi-agent worlds. Multi-agent worlds or systems are sets of interacting intelligent agents performing targeted actions in a dynamic environment. they are used for many applications including transportation, logistics, graphics, manufacturing etc. One of key objectives of intelligent agents in multi-agent worlds is real time planning in a constantly changing environment, because depth and completeness of the analysis of possible actions are limited and must adapt to current time limitations. the aims of the study are to consider existing approaches to action planning and to experimentally analyze their work in typical situations from multi-agent system representing the counteraction of agents in virtual soccer match. the main approach to action planning considered in this article is the model of advanced iterative action planning for real time intelligent agents. this approach is based on using any-time algorithms to avoid problems with time restrictions. the proposed algorithms and models for action planning are considered taking into account decision-making under real-time constraints. they work is illustrated with an example of a concrete situation from virtual soccer. the operating time of the presented algorithms was experimentally measured and compared with theoretical values. According to analysis, complexity of algorithms used in assessment was estimated. these results allow us to develop an action planning algorithm as an any-time algorithm so that the agent can effectively use all available time in the situation. Recent technological advances have fostered the development of complex industrial cyber-physical systems with communication delay requirements. the consequences of delay requirement violation in such systems may become increasingly severe. In this paper, we propose a contract-based fault-resilient methodology which aims at managing the communication delays of network flows in industries. With this objective, we present a lightweight mechanism to estimate end-to-end communication delays in the network where the clocks of the switches are not synchronized. the mechanism aims at providing high level of accuracy with little communication overhead. We then propose a contract-based framework using software-defined networking (SDN) where the components are associated with delay contracts and a resilience manager. the proposed resilience management framework contains: (1) contracts which state requirements about components' behaviors, (2) observers which are responsible to detect contract failure (fault), (3) monitors to detect events such as run-time changes in the delay requirements and link failure, (4) control logic to take suitable decisions based on the type of the fault, (5) resilience manager to decide response strategies containing the best course of action as per the control logic decision. Finally, we present a delay-aware path finding algorithm which is used to route/reroute the network flows to provide resilience in the case of faults and, to adapt to the changes in the network state. Performance of the proposed framework is evaluated with the Ryu SDN controller and Mininet network emulator.

In this paper, we consider Tactile Cyber Physical systems (TCPS), which differ from typical CPS in that haptic sensory feedback is included. In particular, we design and implement a TCPS testbed, called TCPSbed, using well-defined components and interfaces glued together using APIs. In addition to real connections, our testbed supports the interconnection of components over an NS3-emulated network. the testbed also supports the integration of applications that mimic the behaviour of real-world embedded objects. Since controlling latency and ensuring stability is crucial for TCPS applications, the testbed includes tools for fine-grained characterization of latency and control performance. Finally, through proof-of-concept experiments with our testbed, we demonstrate TCPSbed's capabilities to facilitate TCPS research and development.
