Nowadays, cloud computing becoming a vital technology for organization and users by providing services through the internet. Flexibility, Efficiency, high scalability, and cost effective are the main advantages of cloud computing. However, cloud computing still suffers against attacks that threat its availability, especially DDoS attacks. this type of attack makes service unavailable by sending a huge number of flows generated by different distributed devices. High false positive rate, high time detection and high computing cost are the main challenges of exiting system of attack detection in the cloud. In this paper, we present new approach to detect DDoS attack in the cloud based on time series analysis and machine learning techniques. Statistical methods and deep learning are used to forecast the number of normal flows in the next minute, if the number of received flows is far exceeded the forecasted number, a preprocessing process is trigged followed by classifier to differ between DDoS attack and normal flows. Our system is evaluated by using public dataset CIDDS-001 and satisfactory results obtained an accuracy of an accuracy of 100%, a f1-score of 99.96% and a time detection of 0.29 s. © 2021, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the SIFT algorithm had a profound impact on the area of image local feature extraction and computer vision, since its inception. Because of its robustness and anti-interference performance, it has been widely applied in engineering. However, in practical usage of SIFT, there are actually no sufficient feature points that can be extracted to perform the image registration. For tiny scale targets, this situation becomes even worse. Based on the analysis of the scale-space, this paper puts forward a scale-adaptive feature points extraction method (SFPE). SFPE can extract more feature points than traditional SIFT algorithm, especially when the target scale is tiny. Furthermore, a dual-scale based high-precision image registration process (DHIR) is proposed in this paper. In DHIR, a small-scale matching (precise matching) process is performed after the large-scale registration. Experimental results show that the DHIR is more effective to eliminate mismatches than traditional SIFT algorithm. © 2012 IEEE.

Autonomous agents empowered by Large Language Models (LLMs) have undergone significant improvements, enabling them to generalize across a broad spectrum of tasks. However, in real-world scenarios, cooperation among individuals is often required to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of task accomplishment. Hence, inspired by human group dynamics, we propose a multi-agent framework AGENTVERSE that can effectively orchestrate a collaborative group of expert agents as a greater-than-the-sum-of-its-parts system. Our experiments demonstrate that AGENTVERSE can proficiently deploy multi-agent groups that outperform a single agent. Extensive experiments on text understanding, reasoning, coding, tool utilization, and embodied AI confirm the effectiveness of AGENTVERSE. Moreover, our analysis of agent interactions within AGENTVERSE reveals the emergence of specific collaborative behaviors, contributing to heightened group efficiency. We will release our codebase, AGENTVERSE, to further facilitate multi-agent research. © 2024 12th international conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2024. All rights reserved.

Writing is an important aspect of literacy and an important learning foundation in addition to reading for children. the main challenge is to handle the unique characteristics and writing styles that are not yet fully formed in children's handwriting. therefore, technology is needed that can help children learn to write, especially alphabetic characters. this research aims to build a model based on machine learning for recognizing the alphabetic handwriting of pre-toddler children. this research uses the support vector machine (SVM) method and the directional element feature (DEF) feature extraction in grayscale images to effectively classify children's alphabet handwriting. In this study, four kernels in the SVM model were tested. the best results of classification using the linear kernel obtained an average accuracy of 86.33% with a cost optimization parameter of 0. In the use of the RBF kernel, the best average accuracy is 84%, with a cost optimization parameter of 50. With the polynomial kernel, the best average accuracy is 68%, with the cost optimization parameter being 10. In the sigmoid kernel, the best average accuracy is 85.67% with a cost optimization parameter of 50. As a conclusion, the SVM model has proven effective for optimizing handwriting recognition, especially in children's handwriting recognition. © 2023 IEEE.
