A new, improved computer program made specifically for banking helps in solving problems like inadequate guidance and makes it convenient for people who cannot visit banks for some reason. this helps people answer questions faster and makes it easier for bank workers. Making the program better involved picking the right model and making a special set of data. After making these improvements, the llama2_sharded model is really good at answering banking questions, doing better than others by 2.67%. this shows how important it is to give programs lots of practice with different information, proven by reaching a low error rate after many tries. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Educators have benefited greatly from the intelligent tutoring method. Student characteristics must be taken into account for the tutoring system to become more effective and personalized. One of important student characteristics is motivation. Consequently, a self-efficacy theory-based motivation assessment model was put forth in this study. According to the hypothesis, motivational factors included performance, perseverance, effort, and activity selection. Additionally, each attribute has parameters that were established for time spent, difficulty level, number of right answers, and number of questions skipped. the CatBoost algorithm's advantages were utilized in the model's design to forecast the motivation level of students. the model can determine the degree of motivation of pupils just like a human tutor can in a typical classroom. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Attackers typically influence communication using a command and control (C2) server. threat actors frequently use domain generation algorithms (DGAs) to carry out attacks because they can generate a range of network locations that malware can use to connect with C2. Blacklisting and other conventional malware management techniques are not enough to combat DGA threats. In this research, we provide a machine learning approach for identifying and recognizing DGA domains in order to lessen the threat. We collect real-time threat data over a year from real-world traffic;we use the information;we find about the algorithms generating those DGA domains by applying the clustering method;and then we use this knowledge to classify DGA domains differently from regular domains. In this project, various machine learning classifier algorithms are studied through training on a dataset comprising hundreds of DGA and normal domains. Selected features that add to the overall polarity of the input are used as the basis for training. Performance is evaluated by computing precision, accuracy, etc. the best-performing approach is then determined by comparing these readings. these classifiers’ accuracy in identifying the polarity or emotions contained in a text is evaluated and computed using performance assessment metrics. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Embracing the latest technological strides holds immense promise for individuals, organizations, and governments. However, divergent perspectives exist on these advancements, particularly regarding safeguarding critical information, securing stored data platforms, and ensuring data accessibility. A pivotal challenge in the contemporary landscape is the escalating threat of digital terror ism, causing disruptions for individuals and institutions. this form of cybercrime, orchestrated by diverse entities like criminal organizations, skilled individuals, and digital activists, now poses a significant risk to public and national security. Intrusion Detection systems (IDS) have been developed to address this pressing issue. the study leverages the recently introduced UNSWNB dataset to evaluate the efficacy of the chosen approach. the SVM algorithm demonstrated a commendable accuracy of 83.29. the company demonstrated its ability to effectively counter cyber threats by showcasing its potential. Today, it is not possible to question the construction industry's impact on the environment. Vast amounts of resources are extracted, and high amounts of waste are generated. the energy consumption in material extraction, production of building materials and elements, transport, and construction activities sums up to 15% of the global emissions. the construction industry's market-driven nature and regulatory requirements set by Administration bodies define the playground for implementing activities that aim to reduce climate impact. international industry associations point out that minimising the material volume is a low-hanging fruit and research shows that this is prosperous. Still, implementation is slow. this paper argues for and discusses three paradoxes regarding why climate-smart work is slow in implementation and how business-driving aspects obstruct building climate-smart. the argumentation is developed from a perspective that the people-profit-planet unity needs to be considered in balance, in general, and that the profit-planet unity needs to be considered in tandem for market-driven and climate-based contracting, especially. Even though it is tempting to say that we should stop building, it is not feasible for a developing Society. the question is how we can design and build smarter. the conclusion of this work is that the sector needs to address current procurement strategies that are short-Term profit-oriented, understand how upstream decisions obstruct climate-smart solutions, and use digital working procedures and tools to leverage the available information in early project stages. At the bottom-line, to make climate a competitive factor in the construction industry is imperative for a climate transformation of the sector. © 2025 the Authors.

Detecting activities of daily living (ADL) is crucial for supported living and medical monitoring. Traditional approaches rely on high-resolution sensors and computationally intensive algorithms, limiting their scalability and practical use in real-world settings. this research introduces LowResIR-Net, a compact deep residual network architecture specifically tailored for recognizing ADL utilizing low-resolution infrared sensor data. LowResIR-Net efficiently extracts key features from low-dimensional data by leveraging the advantages of infrared sensing, such as privacy protection and light resilience. Its architecture combines residual connections with depth-wise convolutions, enhancing feature learning while maintaining a compact model size. the model’s performance is evaluated using the Coventry-2018 dataset, containing low-resolution infrared data from three residential sensor locations. Our tests have shown that in all three cases, LowResIR-Net consistently achieves superior performance compared to other cutting-edge deep learning models, such as CNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, GRU, and BiGRU. LowResIR-Net attains the most excellent accuracies of 90.18%, 93.75%, and 93.30%, and F1-scores of 81.81%, 89.55%, and 88.92% for scenarios I, II, and III, respectively. Furthermore, it achieves these results with fewer parameters than most other models. LowResIR-Net’s strong performance highlights its ability to accurately capture complex patterns in low-resolution infrared data for ADL detection. this study demonstrates the potential of lightweight deep learning and low-resolution infrared sensors in developing privacy-focused and computationally efficient wellness monitoring systems. © 2025 the Author(s).

In this paper, we discuss the challenges of implementing spelling correction in resource-scarce languages like Nepali, and propose an ensemble model that combines SymSpell, Soundex, and N-gram LM algorithms to improve accuracy and computational speed. It is one of the pioneering approach in spelling correction in Nepali language as most of the existing researches and implementations have focused on morphological analysis and ruled-based spelling correction. the suggested model achieved an 81% accuracy when tested on Nepali text with 1000 sentences consisting of 16289 words, outperforming Symspell alone which achieved 55% accuracy. the research identifies limitations and suggests future improvements for better spelling correction. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Plasmodium parasites are the reason for malaria, a blood-borne illness spread by mosquitoes. the conventional approach to diagnosing malaria is making a blood smear and employing a microscope to appear at the blood-stained smear in order to identify the parasite species Plasmodium. this technique is highly dependent on the knowledge of qualified specialists. Under the cover of this research, shallow machine learning techniques are utilized versus the conventional method, which has certain issues regarding specificity and sensitivity, in order to separate out parasites from blood smears for malaria identification. the suggested methodology uses patient photos to identify the presence of malaria eliminating the requirement for specialists or blood staining. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

this article presents a literature review on the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in healthcare and its social influence. RPA is an emerging technology that automates repetitive and rule-based processes, providing greater efficiency and cost reduction. In the healthcare sector, RPA has the potential to transform administrative operations, improve data accuracy, and free up professionals to focus on patient care. this systematic review examines recent studies on the benefits and challenges of adopting RPA in healthcare, with a particular focus on its sustainability and social impact. the findings indicate that while RPA can offer significant operational and economic improvements, its implementation also raises ethical and social issues, such as the potential replacement of jobs and the need for workforce reskilling. It is concluded that a balanced and well-planned approach is essential to maximize the benefits of RPA in healthcare while mitigating its potential adverse consequences. © 2025 the Author(s).
