this article is devoted to developing a methodology for describing models of technical systems, based on the methodology of system design and system modeling language (SysML). Using the "press-die" system as an example, the specific design steps used to form the structure of a universal die set (UDS) with advanced technological characteristics used on hydraulic presses are presented. Provides examples of activity diagrams that describe the sequence of technological operations and the kinematics of movement of die set elements during the implementation of typical forging technological cycles. An algorithm for selecting design solutions for a UDS is proposed. the analysis of the requirements for the design of hydraulic presses and die sets for the implementation of a number of metal forming processes with complex kinematics of tool movement in the forging technological cycle was carried out to demonstrate the technique. Particular, such processes as extrusion with counterpressure, some processes of severe plastic deformation (SPD), pressing blanks from powder materials, etc., need complex kinematics of tool movement. the generalization of the requirements for the design of a universal die set for the implementation of a number of metal forming processes with different sequences and operations kinematics was performed. © 2024 Copyright for this paper by its authors Use permitted under Creative Commons License Attribution 4.0 international (CC BY 4.0)

the circular economy principles are examined in the context of developing integrated information technologies. A conceptual model for managing circular economy projects is presented, encompassing three management levels to ensure strategic sustainability. As an illustrative example, the business model of establishing an agrarian-industrial complex of energy-independent enterprises based on circular economy principles is explored. this model encompasses the comprehensive infrastructure of the agrarian-industrial complex, incorporating hybrid project management methodologies and an innovative development program. the application of process models, the waterfall life cycle, Agile models, and various project management methods are utilized. throughout the analysis of the business case, the architecture and interaction schemes of the program with the environment during its implementation are determined. © 2023 IEEE.

A new concept of automated phonetic analysis of a speech with asymptotic adaptation to the specifics of phonation of language units is proposed. Unlike analogues, the concept is formalized in the paradigm of information theory with the criterion of analysis of the speech signal based on its relative entropy. the obtained mathematical apparatus allows for analysing the studied process both in statics and dynamics. the quality of the analysis is characterized by errors in the first (incorrect recognition of the language unit) and the second (variability of phonation of the language unit within the corresponding cluster) kind. the derived result is an analytically substantiated possibility of estimating the phonetic saturation of speech. the formulated concept can also be used to assess the degree of information saturation of the cluster of the language unit. Such an assessment is important for the task of creating universal background models, which are an essential element of current recognition systems for both language and speaker. © 2022 IEEE.

We consider turn-based stochastic 2-player games on graphs with omega-regular winning conditions. We provide a direct symbolic algorithm for solving such games when the winning condition is formulated as a Rabin condition. For a stochastic Rabin game with k pairs over a game graph with n vertices, our algorithm runs in O(n(k+2) k!) symbolic steps, which improves the state of the art. We have implemented our symbolic algorithm, along with performance optimizations including parallellization and acceleration, in a BDD-based synthesis tool called Fairsyn. We demonstrate the superiority of Fairsyn compared to the state of the art on a set of synthetic benchmarks derived from the VLTS benchmark suite and on a control system benchmark from the literature. In our experiments, Fairsyn performed significantly faster with up to two orders of magnitude improvement in computation time.

New power system construction is one of important topics in current energy reform. Power grid enterprises need to clarify the relationships between their own development, business system innovation and new power system. this study investigates synergistic development of power grid enterprises’ business system in new power system construction. Based on prior research in synergistic development modes of business systems and its influential factors, this study adopted the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to examine the configurational solutions and identified three synergistic development modes of power grid enterprises’ business system: 1) the core business driven mode, emphasizing the core position of the main business in power grid enterprises;2) the technical support mode, in which technological innovation of the supporting business provides support to business exploration of other types of businesses;and 3) the complementary development mode, in which complementary business development dominates the collaboration of businesses except for the power grid business. this study also proposes evolutionary synergistic development paths to support new power system construction;that is, with continuous evolution of the three basic modes in the mature stage of new power system construction, an advanced platform ecological mode will become dominant, in which different businesses have formed a fully open collaborative relationship with the focus on the core business. © the Institution of Engineering & Technology 2023.

Two cutting-edge technologies that are revolutionizing the education industry are artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain. the study on AI and blockchain in education is bibliometrically analyzed in this paper, emphasizing topics, frameworks, and potential future research areas. the analysis uses the Scopus database to pinpoint essential works and sketch out the conceptual framework of this field of study. the findings show an increasing interest in applying AI and blockchain technology in various educational settings, from K-12 to higher education, as well as the various research paradigms and methodologies used in this field. Waste heat utilization of data center is an important way to realize green and low-carbon transformation of data center industry. this paper analyzes typical business models suitable for data center waste heat utilization, including build-transfer mode (BT), build-operate-transfer mode (BOT) and operating lease mode. then, the cost-benefit models of different business models are constructed and the economic benefits of different business models are analyzed. Moreover, we discuss the influence of construction investment, heating price, operating cost, heating area and other factors on payback period, net present value and internal rate of return. Finally, some suggestions are put forward for the popularization and application of waste heat utilization technology in data centers in the future. © 2022 IEEE.

the article analyzes existing methods and known systems that provide means of recognizing Ukrainian sign language and describes the mechanisms of their implementation. Technologies and software tools for sign language recognition were analyzed, which made it possible to identify the main shortcomings of existing approaches and showed the relevance of the research. the diagram reflecting the main stages that must be implemented in the process of gesture recognition has been finalized. the structural design of the software system was carried out with the display of created diagrams in accordance with the IDEF0 standard. the article presents a context diagram and a decomposition diagram, which created the basis for the study of features and the formation of methodological foundations for the construction of an information system. the main stages of gesture recognition are highlighted and described, namely: transformation of the input image, its filtering and actual recognition. the justification of the choice of methods for displaying contours and recognizing gestures in the incoming information message was made and their analysis was carried out. the constructed prototype of the system for recognizing Ukrainian sign language consists of four main modules: HandGesturesRecognitionForm, NeuralNetwork, CsvManager, TrainingImageDataManager, which provide basic functionality. At the current stage, it can be useful as an additional communication tool for people with special needs. Further research will be aimed at testing and improving systems, eliminating conflicts and expanding functionality in accordance with the specified requirements. © 2024 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

Fortran is widely used in computational science, engineering, and high performance computing. this paper presents an extension to the CIVL verification framework to check correctness properties of Fortran programs. Unlike previous work that translates Fortran to C, LLVM IR, or other intermediate formats before verification, our work allows CIVL to directly consume Fortran source files. We extended the parsing, translation, and analysis phases to support Fortran-specific features such as array slicing and reshaping, and to find program violations that are specific to Fortran, such as argument aliasing rule violations, invalid use of variable and function attributes, or defects due to Fortran's unspecified expression evaluation order. We demonstrate the usefulness of our tool on a verification benchmark suite and kernels extracted from a real world application.
