Effective and stable execution of a human-robot interaction task requires the force and position trajectories of the robot are commanded properly according to the time-varying human arm behavior. In this paper, we aim to realize a direct and physical interaction task between the human hand and robotic arm end-effector. A computationally efficient Cartesian stiffness estimation model of human arm is first employed, which accounts for the geometric and volume modifications of the Cartesian stiffness profile through the arm posture and the activation levels of the two dominant upper arm muscles (i.e., Biceps and Triceps) respectively. Two Myo armbands are attached on the upper arm and the forearm with their built-in gyroscopes and wireless electromyography sensors (EMG) tracking the arm posture and the activation levels of the two muscles respectively. this stiffness estimation model is then extended to the full impedance sense by considering the mass and damping items supplementarily. Once the impedance estimation model is available after the calibration in various arm configurations and muscle activation levels. We employed Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) to computing the corresponding impedance model of the robot to match the estimated human arm behavior. An adaptive controller base on Function Approximation Technique (FAT) is employed to control the robot trajectory in joint space to realize the matching impedance behavior. the corresponding simulation results show that the proposed scheme is stable and effecitve.

With the rapid development of distributed energy, due to the intermittent, random, and strong volatility of distributed energy, the grid connection of distributed energy will lead to reverse currents and cause power quality problems such as voltage crossing limits if the power is not consumed. this paper analyzes the impact of 'source-grid-load-storage' resources on the power grid based on the 'source-grid-loadstorage' interactive regulation system of a city. Using reactive power compensation as the regulation tool, a coordinated control framework is designed, and a coordinated and optimized control strategy is proposed to adapt to multiple operation scenarios, as well as a centralized optimization strategy and specific processes targeting active and reactive power. It effectively solves the problem of power consumption of distributed energy and the problem of power quality such as voltage crossing limit. To some extent, it alleviates the problem of new energy consumption. At the same time, the operation strategy of the 'source-grid-load-storage' regulation system is optimized, so that the operation of the 'source-grid-load-storage' regulation system is more reasonable. It promotes the development of new energy technologies and helps to achieve the goal of 'carbon peak and carbon neutrality'. © 2023 ieee.

Currently, an urgent task is to provide automatic decision support in the cyber-physical system 'Smart House'. the aim of this study is to support decision-making in the humidity control subsystem of the cyber-physical system 'Smart House' in order to ensure fully automatic control of such a subsystem. the method of setting up the humidity control subsystem of the cyber-physical system 'Smart House' developed in this article allows to introduce the necessary parameters for further automatic functioning of the humidity control subsystem in residential premises of various types. the developed decision-making method for the humidity control subsystem of the cyber-physical system 'Smart House' provides a comfortable (taking into account building and sanitary and hygienic standards) moisture concentration in the air environment of the corresponding residential premises. the experiments have proved that the developed method provides for the recognition of situations and support for decision-making regarding the moisture concentration in the air environment of a certain type of dwelling. © 2023 ieee.

the recent outbreak of respiratory diseases such as COVID-19 has led to an increase in the use of therapeutic devices, including high flow nasal cannulas, which have been shown to improve blood oxygenation and reduce mortality rates. Temperature control is an important aspect of these devices, as it impacts the humidification system and patient comfort. therefore, it is necessary to have a robust and accurate temperature control system in HFNC humidification systems. this paper discusses the identification and control of an HFNC humidification system's temperature using MATLAB software. the system model is created using input-output data and a PID controller is generated. the PID Tuner app in MATLAB can be used to automatically tune the PID parameters, and the step response plot can be used to fine-tune the parameters graphically. the performance of the PID algorithm was evaluated through simulations in MATLAB and an Arduino-based real model. the results showed that the designed PID controller had good performance and precision. In conclusion, the designed PID controller, developed through the system identification process, was successfully implemented in the HFNC humidification system we developed. © 2023 ieee.

In today’s competitive landscape, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are increasingly embracing business data analytics to gain valuable insights and make informed decisions. However, the true essence of big data lies not only in its volume but also in the analysis process and the derived insights that aid managers in making effective business choices. Despite this, limited knowledge exists regarding SMEs’ utilization of data analytics and its potential in facilitating informed decision-making. therefore, this paper aims to elucidate the concept of business data analytics within the context of SMEs and outline the essential requirements for its effective implementation, enabling SMEs to leverage data analytics for enhanced competitiveness. It is proposed that the foundation of a successful data analytics system for SMEs should encompass four key elements: data, people, technology, and process. the degree to which data analytics contributes to a firm’s competitiveness is largely influenced by four factors: data quality, well-defined objectives, the caliber of analytic tools and techniques, and analytical skills. Data generates information and insights, which in turn foster knowledge that ultimately leads to wisdom. However, due to limited resources, SMEs may be less inclined to engage in advanced predictive and prescriptive analytics compared to larger firms.

Close and efficient cooperation between devices in the Industrial Internet of things (IIoT) requires precise clock synchronization as a prerequisite. the uncertainty of IIoT networks and the complexity of industrial environments have led to less precise clock synchronization achieved by traditional algorithms and higher network resource consumption. this paper proposes a digital-twin-based clock synchronization scheme for IIoT systems. By building the digital model for each local clock to predict their clock skew, the information interaction required to achieve synchronization is reduced. In order to model the clock accurately, this paper proposes to use the extended state Kalman filter to handle uncertain dynamics and unknown measurement bias to improve the estimation accuracy of clock skew further. the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve high- precision clock synchronization while reducing the consumption of network resources. © 2023 ieee.

At present, the work of spacecraft flight control is in the downstream stage of the whole mission chain, and the flight control work mode cannot adapt to the subsequent space missions. In response to these limitations, a conceptual design of a work mode for space flight control from the metaverse' s perspective is proposed. Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is adopted as the basic methodology for constructing the flight control metaverse. A common flight control infrastructure is proposed as the foundation for mission system development. A flight control metaverse architecture that targets missions throughout the flight control process is built with extensive applications of AI technology. A new flight control work mode and a mission system work mode are designed to bring about systemic innovation in the flight control work mode. the former work mode features a model-based design of flight control schemes, agile and automatic implementation of mission systems, integrated flight control mission implementation, and parallel operation in physical and virtual spaces. the latter work mode comes with intelligent control, flexible deployment, and autonomous operation capabilities. the flight control metaverse presents a new mode of working space for flight control. the new flight control work mode that builds on the flight control metaverse can be used as a technical reference for the continuous innovation and improvement of subsequent flight control practices. © 2023 ieee.

Hydroponics alludes to the art of developing plants in water without any soil and is very well known because of its ability to create a nutrient-rich yield of crops with the least amount of resources. It guarantees an amazing chance to develop a variety of crops all through the year without the constraints forced by the environment. But the limitation of cultivating hydroponics in a greenhouse environment is to keep up with the environmental parameters like temperature, humidity, etc. at a specific level. Also, manual monitoring of crops is an extremely trifling errand that is currently in practice. the paper focuses on developing a hydroponic framework that is completely automated and built on the Internet of things (IoT) technology using ESP32 microcontroller and sensors that would provide a flexible environment for the growth of crops. the proposed system can be utilized for quantitatively optimizing greenhouse farming and for automating most of the labor-intensive tasks. © 2022 ieee.

Aerial manipulators are composed of an aerial multi-rotor that is equipped with a 6-DOF servo robot arm. To achieve precise position and attitude control during the arm's motion, it is critical for the system to have high performance control capabilities. However, the coupling effect between the multi-rotor UAVs' movement poses a challenge to the entire system's control capability. We have proposed a new proxy-based super twisting control approach for quadrotor UAVs that mitigates the disturbance caused by moving manipulators. this approach helps improve the stability of the aerial manipulation system when carrying out hovering or trajectory tracking tasks. the controller's effectiveness has been validated through numerical simulation and further tested in the Gazebo simulation environment. © 2023 ieee.

this paper investigates the distributed DC optimal power flow (OPF) problem with carbon emission trading. In recent years, the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) has been used to solve the optimal power flow problem. Compared with other classical distributed gradient algorithms, the ADMM-based algorithm has faster convergence speed, but it requires a large amount of computation, especially for systems with complex structures and high dimensions. therefore, we propose a method that uses gradient steps in each ADMM iteration to reduce computation time and cost while ensuring fast convergence. We verify our proposed method by considering carbon emission trading (CET) in the standard ieee 30 bus system. Our convergence results show that, under the assumption of problem convexity, the computational complexity and convergence performance of our method are significantly lower than those of the standard ADMM-based distributed optimization algorithm. © 2023 ieee.
