the 5G mobile network is innovative in providing low-latency conversation services. However, this new era brings massive issues around privacy and safety. With the boom in linked and Internet of things (IoT) gadgets, the danger of touchy information being accessed through unauthorized activities will increase. Cozy communication protocols are essential to decorating privacy in 5G mobile networks. the protocols use advanced encryption and authentication techniques to protect records transmitted over the net. Further, they deploy at-ease channels among devices to prevent interception and manipulation of the use of malicious actors. One of the number one protocols for securing conversation in 5G networks is the 5G Authentication and Key settlement. this protocol employs mutual authentication and a significant era of the equipment and the network, ensuring that the handiest prison devices can accurately enter the network and that the transmitted records are encrypted and protected. © 2024 IEEE.

Wildfires are recognized as highly devastating natural disasters, capable of causing irreversible harm to the environment, structures, and human lives and the aftermath of this dreadful occurrence often involves exorbitant expenses for repairs. Detecting wildfires poses a significant challenge, but identifying scenarios for early detection could empower cities and countries to proactive prepare strategies for wildfire management. the primary objective of this research paper is to provide analysis and improvement of the major vulnerabilities of existing public datasets for early wildfire detection using machine learning. We discuss the current weaknesses in these datasets and illustrate their impacts on machine learning solutions. We then describe the required dataset quality aspects and discuss their advantages for early wildfire detection using machine learning. A sample quality dataset and a sample deep learning model using TensorFlow are made publicly available through Github. © 2024 IEEE.

Blockchain-enabled vault for evidence management systems have played an important role in the judicial system to provide an efficient, convenient, and secure access system over the cloud. Criminal record-keeping is a crucial aspect of law enforcement and judicial systems worldwide. Conventional approaches to criminal record storage are frequently plagued by security flaws, inefficiencies, and a lack of transparency. To achieve data integrity and privacy preservation, we proposed the Ethereum Blockchain to create the Vault. Building a Blockchain application on Ethereum ensures data integrity and security by employing three-factor authentication (password, OTP, and biometrics). the document will be stored on the Blockchain after the update from the judicial system and then stored in the Blockchain and Vault in an encrypted form. this application will ensure data integrity, authentication, and privacy preservation. the results show that the Blockchain-enabled Vault is a more secure way of managing, accessing, and protecting the criminal record that ensures data integrity and privacy. the suggested Vault is costeffective and can be easily integrated into Inter Planetary File System (IPFS) to maintain the necessary security challenges. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to maximize the benefits of industrial smart grids in terms of energy optimization, this research presents the Dynamic Energy Optimization System for Industrial Smart Grids (DEOS-ISG). DEOS-ISG is an adaptive and efficient energy management system that combines three important algorithms: Predictive Modeling for Energy Demand (PMED), Adaptive Demand Response and Load Shifting (ADRLS), and Integration of Distributed Energy Resources (IDER). PMED is centered on forecasting energy needs, which enables forethought in strategy and improvement. With ADRLS, load shifting and demand response may be adjusted dynamically in response to changes in energy costs and grid circumstances. In order to lessen our dependency on the grid and boost sustainability, IDER maximizes DERs. Data-driven decision making is facilitated by the mathematical underpinnings of these techniques, which include regression analysis, time series forecasting, reinforcement learning, and mixed-integer linear programming. © 2024 IEEE.

A photovoltaic (PV) generator integrated low voltage (LV) distribution system may be affected by lightning strikes due to thunderstorms. In this paper, a PV generatorintegrated LV distribution network is considered to analyse the effect of lightning causing the generation of a travelling wave. the lightning impulse is modelled and simulated at various locations of the proposed model. the voltage and current profiles due to the injection of lightning impulse have been analysed. the variations in frequency causing changes in impedance are also observed in the proposed model simulated using MATLAB-Simulink software. In addition, it is observed that the nominal voltage and current waveforms at different buses are affected by the lightning impulse voltage, and the impact of lightning voltage gradually decreases as the distance of the line from the point of lightning increases. this kind of simulation work of lightning impulse and its effect on power systems will be beneficial for the power system engineers/researchers at the level of research and development of protection systems of AC distribution networks/microgrids. the proposed methodology is reproducible for the analysis of lightning effects on grid-connected LV microgrid systems for any other models, irrespective of the nature of resources and their geographical locations. © 2024 IEEE.

Blindness is a condition which affects many people, and for the affected people, quality of life can take a big hit. Most blind people already use walking sticks to feel the terrain in front of them as they move around and navigate using touch and sound. However, they cannot judge distances to objects until the cane actually hits the object. In some cases, the contact with the cane may damage the object. Hence, it may be better to have some early warning system so that there is less likelihood of causing damage. this paper presents the design and development of a 'Smart Cane' aimed at enhancing mobility and safety for visually impaired individuals. the cane incorporates ultrasonic sensors to detect objects in the user's surroundings. When an object is detected within a specified distance range, the cane provides haptic feedback through a bidirectional vibration motor, alerting the user to its presence. the microcontroller-based system processes data from both sensors and efficiently manages power consumption to ensure extended battery life. the device's design includes user-friendly controls and an ergonomic enclosure to offer ease of use and protection for the electronic components. Further, there is built-in navigation via online Map API. With the convenience of navigating oneself without external assistance, the 'Smart Cane' demonstrates great potential to improve the independence and confidence of visually impaired individuals in navigating their environments safely. © 2024 IEEE.

this research presents the implementation of an innovative Vehicle Management System designed specifically for the Christ University Project 'CampusWheels.' the system incorporates cutting-edge technologies, including YOLOv8 and Tesseract OCR, for robust license plate recognition. Addressing the unique challenges faced by Christ University in managing and securing vehicular movements within the campus, this project becomes crucial as the number of vehicles on campuses continues to grow. It not only provides an effective solution to these challenges but also introduces innovative methodologies, marking a significant departure from conventional campus management practices. the paramount importance of this project lies in its ability to enhance campus security through real-time vehicle monitoring and identification. the utilization of YOLOv8 for vehicle detection and Tesseract OCR for license plate recognition ensures a high level of accuracy in identifying and tracking vehicles entering and leaving the campus. this precision significantly contributes to the prevention of unauthorized vehicle access, a common security concern on educational campuses. Moreover, the system's ability to streamline traffic flow and improve efficiency in parking and access control addresses practical issues faced by campus administrators and security personnel. © 2024 IEEE.

Integrating High-Performance Computing (HPC) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) has greatly expanded the area of protein-protein interaction (PPI) analysis, which is essential for comprehending biological processes. In this paper, we studied the importance of HPC in AI-based PPI analysis, providing a unique technique that integrates deep learning, probabilistic modeling, and efficient network analysis. We evaluated the predicted accuracy and computational efficiency of our new technique with six established methods for PPI analysis. We found that the Area Under the ROC Curve (AUC) for the suggested technique was much greater than that for the baseline method. the suggested method's AUC values routinely outperformed those of the gold standard approaches, demonstrating its superiority in predicting protein interactions. Accurate biological insights and applications in drug development and disease understanding rely on this improved prediction capacity. We also evaluated the approaches' efficacy by computing their running times. the suggested technique was shown to be very effective, using much less time for analysis than conventional approaches. this is an enormous benefit, particularly for time-sensitive or extensive PPI study projects. Our study concludes that HPC is crucial for AI-based PPI analysis. the suggested approach shows impressive performance in terms of predicted accuracy and computational economy since it combines deep learning, probabilistic modeling, and HPC-accelerated network analysis. this study advances bioinformatics and systems biology by developing a robust and time-saving resource for PPI analysis. the suggested technique shows promise for additional progress in drug development, illness detection, and functional genomics, all of which rely heavily on a knowledge of protein interactions. © 2024 IEEE.

this study introduces a dynamic event-handling system designed for hand gesture recognition in mobile augmented reality (AR) viewers. By repurposing low-cost virtual reality (VR) boxes in conjunction with mobile phones, the researchers aimed to facilitate hands-free interaction in AR environments. the system was developed using the Unity 3D game engine and integrated with ManoMotion for real-time gesture recognition, enabling the detection of ten distinct gestures, including Click, Drop, Pick, Grab, Swipe, and Release. Each gesture was mapped to dynamic events that allowed users to engage with virtual objects through natural hand movements, significantly enhancing the AR experience without reliance on physical controllers. the research confirms the viability of an affordable AR system that leverages intuitive hand-based controls while identifying limitations such as reduced gesture accuracy in low-light conditions and ergonomic challenges. the system achieved an impressive hand recognition accuracy of 95.13%. this study contributes to the accessibility of AR technology and lays the groundwork for future enhancements in gesture recognition and user interaction within mobile AR systems. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
