With the development of information technology of university library, the mass data of the university library has the basic characteristics of Big Data. However, the current situation of the university library is the lack of distributed storage and computing model for massive data, the lack of capacity to handl the diverse data sources, including the structured, semi structured and unstructured data, the lack of a simple, flexible application model of big data *** order to solve the problems in the service innovation of University Libraries in China, such as the problem of distributed storage and computation of massive data, the distributed management of diverse data sources, the simple and flexible application of big data services, this paper analyzes the research contents of big data processing, Hadoop ecosystem and the demand for big data services in University Libraries, and presents a technology framework for big data service in University Libraries based Hadoop. the framework includes the distributed storage and parallel computing model of mass data, the distributed management model of diverse data sources and the model of diversified service application for university libraries. this framework takes full account of the service innovation change of University Library under the environment of big data, such as data storage and calculation, data management and service applications et al. It can solve the key technical problems of big data service of University Library in a certain extent.

User behavioral analysis is expected to act as a promising technique for identity theft detection in the internet. the performance of this paradigm extremely depends on a good individual-level user behavioral model. Such a good model for a specific behavior is often hard to obtain due to the insufficiency of data for this behavior. the insufficiency of specific data is mainly led by the prevalent sparsity of users’ collectable behavioral footprints. this work aims to address whether it is feasible to effectively detect identify thefts by jointly using multiple unreliable behavioral models from sparse individual-level records. We focus on this issue in mobile social networks (MSNs) with multiple dimensions of collectable but sparse data of user behavior, i.e., making check-ins, posing tips and forming friendships. Based on these sparse data, we build user spatial distribution model, user post interest model and user social preference model, respectively. Here, as the arguments, we validate that there is indeed a complementary effect in multi-dimensional blended behavioral analysis for identity theft detection in MSNs. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2018.

An anaphora is a type of expression whose reference depends upon another referential element. In order to become aware of situations or human intentions by natural language understanding, it is important to estimate correctly what anaphoric expressions indicate. In particular, an anaphora resolution for Japanese demonstrative determiners is critical to be aware of situation, context or a causal relationship in dialogue. Ontology-based similarity has been proposed as a way to identify referential elements;however, a method using ontology alone cannot resolve all anaphoric relations. this paper proposes an anaphora analysis method that uses semantic similarity between different parts-of-speech and conceptual dependency structure. this method specializes in resolving clause anaphoric. the evaluation of this method showed around 2% accuracy for resolving Japanese demonstrative determiner in balanced corpus.

Information-Centric Networking (ICN) introduces a paradigm shift from a host centric communication model for Future internet architectures. It supports the retrieval of a particular content regardless of the physical location of the content. Emergency network in a disaster scenario or disruptive network presents a significant challenge to the ICN deployment. In this paper, we present a Content dIstribution and retrieval framework in disaster netwOrks for public pRotection (CIDOR) which exploits the design principle of the native CCN architecture in the native Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) architecture. We prove the feasibility and investigate the performance of our proposed solution using extensive simulation with different classes of the DTN routing strategies in different mobility scenarios. the simulation result shows that CIDOR can reduce the content retrieval time up to 50% while the response ratio is close to 100%.

MPEG has recently proposed Server and Network Assisted Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (SAND-DASH) for video streaming over the internet. In contrast to the purely client-based video streaming in which each client makes its own decision to adjust its bitrate, SAND-DASH enables a group of simultaneous clients to select their bitrates in a coordinated fashion in order to improve resource utilization and quality of experience. In this paper, we study the performance of such an adaptation strategy compared to the traditional approach with large number of clients having mobile internet access. We propose a multi-servers multi-coordinators (MSs-MCs) framework to model groups of remote clients accessing video content replicated to spatially distributed edge servers. We then formulate an optimization problem to maximize jointly the QoE of individual clients, proportional fairness in allocating the limited resources of base stations as well as balancing the utilized resources among multiple serves. We then present an efficient heuristic-based solution to the problem and perform simulations in order to explore parameter space of the scheme as well as to compare the performance to purely client-based DASH.

Industrial IoT networks are typically used for monitoring systems and supporting control loops, as well as for movement detection systems, process control and factory automation. To this end, data generated by monitoring IoT devices are collected, elaborated and sent to controllers and actuators. the routing of data from IoT sensors to actuators is an integral part of any large-scale industrial network for maintaining critical delay requirements. Centralised schemes are typically used, whereby data are transferred to a central network controller, from where they are accessed by any other node requiring them. this may result in significant overheads and suboptimal resource consumption. In this paper, we propose a distributed, cooperative Data Management Layer (DML), whereby nodes cooperate to store data within the network. the DML is decoupled yet interacts with the underlying Network Plane. Specifically, given a set of data, the sets of nodes generating and requesting them, and a maximum access delay that requesting nodes can tolerate, the DML efficiently identifies a limited set of proxies in the network where data are stored. Given the mentioned constraints, we investigate the (computationally difficult) problem of finding which network nodes to select as proxies and we propose a simple method to address it. We demonstrate that the proposed method (i) guarantees that access delay stays below the given threshold, and (ii) significantly outperforms centralised and even distributed approaches, both in terms of access latency and in terms of maximum latency guarantees.

Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications encapsulate significant challenges as a result of the vast number of wireless technologies deployed, nodes mobility and large applications range. One of the greatest challenges is to provide adequate QoS guarantees even in this demanding environment. State-of-the-art solutions for QoS provisioning over wireless links are based on cross-layering packet schedulers that deal both with the QoS guarantees and the wireless link issues. Unfortunately, such an approach is not flexible and requires technology-dependent solutions, with the definition of a different software version for of the each technology deployed. To overcome this issue, we design a modular architecture which permits the use of existing high-performance packet schedulers for wired links over generic wireless technologies, as they are, and at the same time allows the flexibility to adapt to different channel conditions. We also provide a mathematical analysis of the QoS bounds of this novel architecture together with simulations analysis to validate it. this approach paves the way for efficient QoS provisioning and throughput-boosting in V2X systems.

distributed video coding is a new video coding mode, and it can shift the computational complexity from encoder to decoder. that makes it very suitable for wireless video terminals with limited computing capabilities, memory and power. this technology is rapidly developing with emerging video applications such as wireless video surveillance, wireless digital camera and mobile video telephony. this paper summarizes the distributed video coding technology from the theory to the application from the perspective of basic principle, coding framework, key technology and development trend. On the basis of these, this paper proposes several aspects of distributed video coding that is worthy of further study.

Owing to its good generalization performance and rapid learning speed, RNN (Randomized Neural Network) is widely used in text classification, image recognition, bioinformatics and other fields. However, the amount of data generated by applications in the real world is growing, and the traditional centralized randomized neural network (RNN) is no longer able to quickly and efficiently learn data that is so large. therefore, this paper makes use of the distributed framework provided by Flink to realize the randomized neural network (RNN) parallelization algorithm to make up for the deficiency of traditional centralized randomized neural network (RNN) algorithm in dealing with large datasets. By analyzing the characteristics of the traditional centralized randomized neural network (RNN), we find that the most time consuming part is the matrix multiplication operation of the Moore generalized inverse matrix when calculating the output weight vector. Since the matrix multiplication can be decomposed, the distributed matrix can be multiplied by the distributed framework provided by Flink, and then the corresponding output weight vector is centrally calculated. Extensive experiments have validated the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.

Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) enables high density fish farming and said to be the key technology to allow world aquaculture community to supply per capita needs for aquatic species over the coming decades with environmentally and friendly manner. RAS offers controlled environment which permits product growth rate control and predictable harvesting schedule. Two parameter categories need to be monitored in RAS - direct and indirect. Direct parameter like pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen and some other water quality parameter exist as natural elements. the indirect parameter comes from the calcution based on stock capacity that will affect the content of these natural parameters. Extensive data acquisition and analysis will determine the success of RAS. the vast number of data will affect the network traffic especially if the system is cloud-based. Fog computing offers reduction of network traffic by providing a platform to filter and analyse the data generated by the devices. Real time decision and control also will be another advantageous in using fog technology. By using embedded system together with open source technology which offer small size, low cost, light weight, protable, high efficiency and low power consumption this paper will show how the RAS system can be equipped with fog computing in order to form an automatic data acquisition and monitoring system.
