In the wireless sensor network applications, what is easily found that it is difficult to guarantee the quality of link communication in the communication channel by the scene frequency interference. In this paper, the frequency hopping communication mechanism of wireless sensor network based on RSSI is proposed. By analyzing the factors that affect the RSSI value, the RSSI value recognition network communication interference strategy is determined. By using the distributed decision fusion algorithm, all nodes participate in the network frequency hopping decision, effectively reduce the probability of false frequency decision error. the results show that the probability of accurate identification of interference is more than 95%, the error rate of FM decision can be controlled at 5%, and the quality of link communication is improved.

the Inference Engine is an integral part of Semantic Data Stores. In this paper, we describe our experience of implementing a scalable inference engine for HBase Semantic Data Store. this inference engine computes production rule based entailment of one or more RDFS/OWL encoded semantic data models. the inference engine capabilities include i) inferencing based on semantics of RDFS/OWL constructs and user-defined rules, and ii) validation of semantic data model based on RDFS/OWL semantics. A unique aspect of our approach is that the inference engine is implemented entirely as a database application on top of the HBase Database. the paper describes the inferencing requirements, challenges in supporting a sufficiently expressive set of RDFS/OWL constructs, and techniques adopted to build a scalable inference engine. A performance study conducted using LUBM semantic datasets demonstrates the effectiveness of our approach.

With the continuous development of the Sematic Web and the associated dataset project, semantic data in various fields is being expanded on a large scale. At the same time, there is a complex semantic correlation between these large-scale semantic data. the mining of these related information is of great significance to researchers. In order to solve the problems of traditional computing engine's computational performance and scalability in the large-scale semantic data reasoning, a Hadoop-based semantic big data distributed reasoning framework is proposed, and the corresponding property chain is designed. Prototype reasoning system to efficiently discover potentially valuable information in massive semantic data. the experiment mainly focuses on the semantic association discovery between the ontology in the medical and life sciences. the experimental results show that the inference system has achieved good performance--expandability and accuracy.

this papersummarizes our comparative study on the design choices of two classic link-state routing protocols: IS-IS and OSPF. Although both protocols are based on the same algorithmic foundations for computing best paths across large networks, they made different choices at various aspects in the protocol designs. We selected ten major design differences between the two to understand the reasoning behind their choices. We hope that this comparative study helps shed new light on the design space of link-state routing protocols and prove useful to future routing protocol design efforts. © 2017 Association for computing Machinery.

Collaborative filtering (CF) is the most popular recommendation algorithm, which predicts unknown ratings through historic data. However, the traditional collaborative filtering algorithm only considers the individual user's historical behavior of items, without considering the users' preferences and attributes. In this paper, a collaborative filtering algorithm based on latent factor model clustering (CF-LFMC) is proposed. Firstly, the user's score matrix is decomposed into two matrices by the latent factor model (LFM) and gets the user-class matrix. Secondly, the user-class matrix is decomposed into many clusters by the clustering algorithm, which presents users' hidden attributes. Finally, based on users' hidden attributes and users' history score record, the similarity of items is calculated and item scores can be predicted. through experiments on the MovieLens dataset, it shows that the proposed algorithm can reduce the mean absolute error and improve the accuracy of recommendation.

With the progress in space technologies, the future integrated network incorporating ground internet and spatial network is emerging as the times require. the particularity of space application requires secure transmission and storage of mass data. these data contain a lot of repeating data, which occupy an enormous storage space and many network bandwidth resources. How to efficiently delete the repeating data while ensuring the data confidentiality poses a great challenge to the data deduplication technology. this paper proposes a secure data deduplication scheme to be implemented in the integrated network In this scheme, many key servers are distributed into the entire network so that the client can be linked to several nearby key servers at any time. then a key generated by a key server is chosen randomly. the key fingerprint is saved to the key fingerprint server to ensure that the data with the same attributes can be encrypted by the same key for the purpose of ciphertext deduplication. the theoretical analysis shows that, compared with DupLESS and threshold blind signature, this scheme improves the security of the deduplication system, avoids a single point of failure, simplifies the signature verification, and thus reduces the computational overhead at the client side.

With the widespread usage of wireless network and mobile devices, the scale of spatial-temporal data is dramatically increasing and a good deal of real world applications can be formulated as processing continuous queries over moving objects. Most existing works investigating this problem mainly concern about the centralized search algorithm for dealing with range queries over a limited volume of objects, but these approaches hardly can scale well in a cluster of servers. Additionally, the existing approaches seldom process the situation that the locations of objects and queries are simultaneously changing. To address this challenge, we propose a distributed grid index and a distributed incremental search approach to handle concurrent continuous range queries over an ocean of moving objects. As to the distributed grid index, it can be deployed on a distributed computing framework to well support the real-time maintenance of moving objects. Further, we take fully into account the condition that locations of objects and queries are both changing at the same time, and put forward a parallel search approach based on the publish/subscribe mechanism to achieve incrementally searching results of each continuous range queries with a cluster of servers. Finally, we conduct extensive experiments to sufficiently evaluate the performance of our proposal.

In this paper, we focus on network control functionalities and resources management in internet of things (IoT) using Software Defined Network (SDN) and Fog computing paradigms. We propose a new hybrid and programmable architecture to make an appropriate decision related to the control process (centralized or semi-distribute) according to different heterogeneous parameters. the centralized scenario is a classical approach of SDN. However, the semi-distributed scenario consists in introducing different level of control: principal controller, secondary controllers, and local controllers nodes. In order to adapt the architecture to network topology, we use Connected Dominating Sets (CDS) algorithm to select a relevant subset of nodes able to act as local controllers. the selection strategy is proposed using fuzzy set approach based on different network parameters: connectivity degree, link quality, and the distance in terms of hop number from the gateway. the obtained results show that the selection strategy gives good results in terms of local controller selection.

the growing internet of things (IoT) is increasing wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for different applications. Energy efficiency and reliability are key factors for multi-hop path source to sink. A relay node forwards other node's data to sink, therefore, it consumes more energy. When relay runs out of battery it may cause network failure in WSNs of IoT. A relay selection in multi-hop transmission can play an important role to increase the network lifetime. A stable, WSN is the fundamental requirement for IoT data gathering in multi-hop networking from source to sink. In this paper, an energy efficient distributed relay selection (EDRS) technique is proposed for multi-hop WSNs. the energy consumption is reduced by selecting a stable relay and power allocation for collaboration. In addition, the proposed EDRS selects a relay node with optimal power levels to prolong the network lifetime. the simulation results demonstrate, the EDRS reduces energy consumption and increases network lifetime.

With the motivation to develop a resilient and survivable Future internet, we are constructing a configurable and adaptive multipath transport-layer protocol called ResTP. While some other composite protocols mainly emphasize their flexibility to provide services to multiple application classes operating on top of various network environments, our ResTP focuses on increasing the resilience level of the protocol in particular and the network in which ResTP is deployed in general, by following a set of design guidelines derived from the ResiliNets framework. In this framework, resilience has a broad definition that subsumes multiple disciplines, including survivability, disruption tolerance, and dependability. the implementation of ResTP employs modular programming to decrease the complexity while increasing its extensibility. ResTP uses a tunable header to minimize unnecessary overhead. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of ResTP connection management, including its connection establishment, monitoring, and termination. through simulations in ns-3, we show that ResTP achieves a comparable performance to UDP in its connectionless mode with its ability to optimize the header. We also compare ResTP opportunistic and TCP handshake schemes and show that the opportunistic outperforms the 3-way handshake, especially in the presence of long delay and SYN drop. When using the same connection management scheme as TCP with ARQ for error control and bulk-send application, ResTP outperforms TCP, especially in the presence of random loss. © VDE VERLAG GMBH - Berlin - Offenbach.
