We propose a geographical information search system for use on mobile devices based on user search operations in local services such as Yelp. We aim for intelligent interaction such as adjusting the search properties to estimate user criteria from user operations on a general geographical search interface. In this paper, we use regions and categories as search property. When a user searches for restaurants in an unfamiliar location by interested category, and retrieved objects are few, our method enlarges current region for adding related objects automatically. We propose an estimating method of user's search criteria using user's operation, and develop geographical information search system based on estimated criteria.

One possible approach to improving the ability of physicians and patients to stay current withthe latest trends in healthcare is through the use of mobile applications. the challenge to this approach is the lack of a content management framework that allows medical experts to continuously integrate new knowledge and content into the design of easy to use software applications for patients and other healthcare personnel. this paper introduces the CANBeWell mobile application, a rule-based content management application for collecting and aggregating important medical data from medical experts, and disseminating this data to patients and other clinicians using a context-aware mobile app in support of preventive healthcare.

the Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence is currently one of the main mathematical frameworks used for reasoning under uncertainty, as it allows combination of imprecise information originating from different sources. In multi-source information fusion it may be problematic to identify which of the multiple information sources had the most significant contribution to the final decision. this may be of particularly importance in situations where it may not be possible to accurately assess the reliability of the sources involved. As the results of information fusion may be used in safety critical situations it is necessary to be able to track the origin of the beliefs obtained. In order to address this question we propose a new measure based on Jousselme's distance between two basic probability assignments. the concept of measuring the dissimilarity between two bodies of evidence is extended by conditioning the final fusion outcome on the plausibility of the proposition in question. the assumption is that the more similar a body of evidence provided is to the plausibility-conditioned result, the more significant its contribution. the performance of this metric is experimentally tested in the context of identifying the main source of information contributing to a hypothesis and sensitivity analysis.

An intelligent network provides information processing, retrieval and transfer services for an arbitrary number of users in a transparent way. the architecture proposed is based on the demand-driven information processing model with static or dynamic task allocation over inhomogeneous or homogeneous resource types and network structures. Such a system can be modelled as having logical, temporal and topological structures together with operations on these structures. the necessary mathematical concepts for modelling such a system are parameterized hierarchical relations, logic functions, hierarchies of variables withtheir hierarchical control operators, and neighbourhood/similarity structures. these concepts are then applied to define a knowledge module. By composition of knowledge modules and intelligent switches we obtain the generic intelligent network. Introducing a model time as a partially ordered set of events, an evolutionary system can be considered, both its capabilities and its active structure.

In this paper we have practiced a middle-out method of modeling Chinese tax domain ontology, and presented a framework to build an ontology in Chinese tax domain, especially on domain ontology learning. the objective of this paper is to present a complete conception of decision support systems for software project management. the idea is founded on dynamic and self-adjusting fuzzy models. Specifically, the propsed approach is founded on the knowledge-based methodology and the theories of dynamic systems and fuzzy sets. the presented method can be used in manufacturing of knowledge-basedinformation Technology (IT) products. A preliminary design of a fuzzy model can take advantage of experience from managing projects. Relevant experimental data resulting from such projects can then be utilized for adjusting the membership functions of the fuzzy model applied in the knowledge-based decistion-support system.

the results of cognitive psychological experiment indicate that it is hard for people to use their knowledge dynamically and flexibly. In the experiment, participants carried out a category learning - test task. they learned information pertaining to two categories and classified items based on that knowledge. In one experimental condition the features of categories could be inferred from the information, and the other condition features could not be inferred. Regardless of the difference, participants never inferred the features when the information was not explicitly given. Only in an extremely limited situation i.e., when it was possible to infer the features of categories, the knowledge was explicitly presented, and there was sufficient time to process information could the participants use their knowledge dynamically. the results suggest knowledge use is very restricted. Appropriate support would be necessary for people to use knowledge flexibly. It may be possible that communication with other people and computer system support would facilitate the dynamic use of knowledge.
