As the technology of underwater shooting advances, the underwater image process has become necessary. For this research, five different methods have been applied to the underwater images, including white balance, DCT contrast enhancement, CLAHE, Global and local contrast enhancement, linear fusion and Gaussian Pyramid fusion method. the results of these different methods are compared using the method of Underwater Color Image Quality Evaluation (UCIQE). UCIQE can compute a score for each of the different outputs. the images with higher score imply better outcome of underwater image processing. the result shows that the Gaussian Pyramid fusion method has the highest score of UCIQE, which means that this method can restore the underwater images in the most efficient way. © 2022 ieee.

With the continuous development of communication technology, people put forward higher and higher requirements for the next generation mobile communication system. With the large-scale popularization of 4G technology, the research of 5G technology has become the first research task of major institutions in recent years. How to design a communication system with higher speed, higher capacity and lower energy consumption has become an urgent task. Carrier index modulation system has become one of the research hotspots in recent years because of its better advantages such as low peak to average ratio and anti frequency offset. Starting from the transmission performance, this paper theoretically analyzes and deduces the bit error rate and spectrum of index modulation OFDM system, mainly studies the impact of bit rate on spectrum bandwidth and the advantages of SIM-OFDM compared with traditional OFDM system. © 2022 ieee.

To solve the problems of low intelligence, low real-time, and poor warning in the face of a complex environment, a face mask detection system based on YOLOv4 architecture is implemented by combining the face mask dataset in the real world. the system can correctly detect faces from images and real-time videos, and judge whether the target face is wearing a mask in a standard way. From the experimental results, the system can distinguish the detected faces with three labels as with a mask, without a mask, and mask worn incorrectly, and achieve a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 87.94%. At the same time, the system can realize the dual combination of detection and warning by recording and uploading face data, which is of high academic research value and practical application value. © 2022 ieee.

Accurately predicting housing prices is of great significance to improving housing equity. In this work, we first analyzed the factors that affect housing prices. the experimental results show that income is the most important influencing factor, and its correlation with housing prices is as high as 0.69. In addition, room distribution and geographical location are the remaining important image factors. In order to achieve accurate housing price prediction, we designed a random forest to achieve housing price prediction. Compared with support vector regression (SVR), linear regression (LR) and decision tree (DT), our method achieves the best root mean square error (RMSE) and goodness of fit. In contrast, the predicted values of LR and SVR tend to be higher than the true values, while the values of DT tend to be lower than the true values. © 2022 ieee.

During this nearly two-years-long pandemic period, the COVID-19 impacts people's lives dramatically, many people were forced to stay at home by the government's lockdown policy, and they also need to work and study at home. therefore, there is an equivalent impact on networks as people are more dependent on them. But there are only a limited number of research has been done in this intersection area between the pandemic and networks. So, we want to fill this gap. In this paper, we will study the mobile network data from U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and COVID-19 cases data from the U.S. centers for disease control and prevention (CDC), then use machine learning to investigate the relationship between mobile network data and COVID-19 cases. We will discuss other related works, which used other methods or investigated this topic in other regions, then we will introduce our machine learning methods, experiments and give the conclusion. © 2022 ieee.

the cockpit design of civil aircraft is about smooth operation, flight safety and flight efficiency. the dynamic evaluation of the design process is obviously conducive to the optimization of man-machine efficiency. A system design method based on mix reality is proposed, and the system design and method verification are carried out with a large-type passenger plane as the target model. the proposed method focuses on solving the dynamic matching problem of virtual and physical scenes in human in the loop, and realizes the coordinated matching between rigid simulation and flexible human body. At the same time, the problem of dynamic access of general multi-source simulation data is solved, and the coordinated dynamic visualization between numerical data and image data is realized. Verification experiment shows that the system is feasible, reliable and effective in engineering. © 2022 ieee.

Classifying network traffic has long been an active field of research, and it is also a key part of network traffic analysis. However, as the use of network traffic encryption and masking grows in the recent years, traditional network classification methods have become less effective. To overcome the traditional methods' disadvantages of not being accurate enough to classify real world scenario network traffic that is encrypted and randomly mixed with flows from different services and applications, we proposed a method that utilizes payload-based technique and a convolutional neural network model that was modified from existing network structures. Our data preprocessing converts the byte flow of the packet payload into two dimensional arrays for training and classification. Comparing to existing methods that are not purposed for encrypted traffic classification, our method achieves better accuracy, yet remains less resource-intensive relative to using other deep neural networks, making it more suitable to deploy in network infrastructures for practical use. © 2022 ieee.

In order to reduce carbon emissions, electric vehicles began to be produced and promoted. Electric vehicles have the potential to reshape the transportation sector across the world, drastically cutting carbon emissions and clearing the way for significant climate progress. Many organizations have adopted electric vehicles (EV s) for their fleets as a result of rising fuel expenses and a push for greener initiatives. EV s, which are known for their fuel economy, might be a cost-effective solution to save running costs. A collection of statistical procedures for estimating connections between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables is known as regression analysis. It may be used to determine the strength of a relationship between variables and to predict how they will interact in the future. In order to study whether electric vehicles really reduce carbon emissions, the project uses relevant data sets about the United States to find the relationship between electric vehicle sales and total carbon emissions. through regression analysis, the corresponding data were processed and analyzed. © 2022 ieee.

In recent years, with the organic combination of big data technology and medical imaging, new methods of radiomics have emerged. With the help of computer software, it can extract high-throughput image features from medical images, analyze and screen out the most valuable radiomics features for clinical information analysis, to guide individual clinical decision-making. Radiomics has shown great advantages in tumor differential diagnosis, gene phenotype prediction, treatment selection and prognosis analysis, which provides important support for individualized precise treatment. With the in-depth development of precision medicine, the application of radiomics in disease diagnosis and treatment has attracted more and more attention, and has become a research hotspot of researchers at home and abroad. At present, some achievements have been made in the research of radiomics, but there are still many areas to be improved to apply the research results of radiomics to clinical practice. In the future, radiomics will be based on multi-center research to further obtain standard, stable features and complete verification. It is believed that with the continuous accumulation and standardization of medical data and the standardization of research methods, radiomics will also develop and apply rapidly to serve the clinic. It mainly reviews the basic concepts, specific processing flow, application fields, future development direction and challenges of radiomics. © 2022 ieee.

In this paper, we investigate how to improve the generalization ability of simple convolutional neural networks. Previous work showed that techniques like regularization, transfer learning and data augmentation could improve the generalization ability. We first focused on data augmentation and showed that the generalization ability can be largely improved by augmenting the training samples. However, the increasing amount and difficulty of the training set will lower the speed of machine learning models. In order to speed up the model and keep relatively high performance, we applied Squeeze-and-Excitation block on to our convolutional neural network. Our results showed great improvement by applying data augmentation. the speed of our model is increased after applying the Squeeze-and-Excitation block. Our method improved 6-time convergence time and 37.65 percentage of accuracy, which can validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2022 ieee.
