Truck color is one of the important information of vehicle ownership in intelligent transportation system. Aiming at the problem that truck color recognition is easy to be affected by complex scene and illumination changes, this paper studied the truck recognition method based on convolutional neural network, constructed the truck color image set, transformed truck vehicle image samples into RGB, HSV, and LAB color spaces. A truck color recognition method based on convolutional neural network model is proposed and experimental research is proposed. the experimental results show that the performance of the proposed convolutional neural network model based on LAB color space is better than that of proposed convolutional neural network model based on HSV color space, and achieved a verification accuracy at 96.36%. © 2022 ieee.

N owadays, the internet is spreading widely around the world. Beside the benefits the internet brings to its users, there are many potential harms such as phishing scams. these scams act like normal websites, stealing confidential information from users. To protect the privacy of the internet users from being imperiled by scams, it is necessary to find a way to detect those phishing websites. When considering detection, Machine Learning methods that have the best possible performances are promising techniques to resolve the problem since they can make reliable predictions or classifications for unseen scenarios upon given data. In this paper, I present a ensemble model to detect phishing websites using URL features. I used the dataset named 'Phishing website Detector - phishing website dataset' from Kaggle. Next, several models using all types of mainstream ensemble algorithms (such as stacking, boosting, and bagging) were built. Finally, different methods measuring the performance of models were used. the reason why only ensemble models are selected as the methods to be implemented is mainly due to their overall strong performance. As for the results, the proposed XGBoost model combining Random Forest and K-Nearest Neighbors outperforms all other models (Random Forest, AdaBoost, Parameter-tuned XGBoost, Stacking, and Voting), achieving an accuracy of 99.74 % on training data and 96.44% on testing data. the confusion matrix generated according to the performance of the XGBoost model shows that it correctly predicts 1523 positive terms out of 1594 in total and 1995 negative terms out of 2054 in total. this resulting method can effectively detect phishing web sites. Furthermore, if integrated into application or web extension, it can protect internet users' privacy from being imperiled when they accidentally step into phishing web sites traps. © 2022 ieee.

High-throughput microfluidics-based assays can potentially increase the speed and quality of yeast replicative lifespan measurements. One major challenge is to efficiently convert large volumes of time-lapse images into quantitative measurements of cellular lifespans. Here, we address this challenge by prototyping an algorithm that can track cellular division events through family trees of cells. We generated a null distribution using single cells inside microfluidic traps. Based on this null distribution, we prototyped a maximum likelihood algorithm for cell tracking between images at different time-points. We inferred cell family trees through a likelihood based trace-back method. the branching patterns of the cell family trees are then used to infer replicative lifespan of the yeast mother cells. the longest branch of a cell family tree represents the full trajectory of a yeast mother cell. the replicative lifespan of this mother cell can be counted as the number of bifurcating branches of this family tree. In addition, we prototyped a different approach based on summing cells area which improved the replicative lifespan estimation significantly. these generic methods have the potential to accelerate the efficiency and expand the range of quantitative measurement of yeast replicative aging experiments. © 2022 ieee.

In this research and implementation, commercially available embedded development boards are used to implement the software functions of the IoT gateway, and the goal is to enable users to view the information of industrial-grade sensors through web pages. the development board uses LinkIt (TM) Smart 7688 Duo, developed by MediaTek. the retail price of this board is US$30 about, more cheaper than that of Raspberry Pi (about US$60 similar to 150). the proposal scheme is economical, and provides a customizing solution for System Integrators, who want to introduce IOT service to their customers. the main functions developed additionally into the IoT gateway are those for the mechanisms of Modbus and MQTT. the Web operation interfaces are also developed corresponding to the two functions. the function of Modbus over TCP is to provide the IOT manager station for reading/writing sensor systems through the IOT gateway, and that of MQTT lets the IOT gateway automatically read sensor systems and then send data to the IOT manager station. the physical bus between the IOT gateway and sensors is RS485, which is connected to 7688 Duo with an USB-to-485 adaptor. this development skill on the IOT gateway can provide a fully customizing solution for those who develop the IOT management system, and thus they can give an economical and full IOT service for their customers.

research in the field of robotics and industries is heavily investing in human-robot interaction. Collaborative robots aim to bridge the gap and bring humans and robots closer together in industrial settings by taking down physical barriers and sharing workspaces. this paper describes an integrated system architecture for modeling and controlling robots for human-collaborative behavior, while employing safety assurance mechanisms. this is performed by integrating motion tracking and compliance algorithms implemented using linear Proportional-Integral (PI) and Admittance controllers, respectively. the controllers are applied on the robot's kinematic and dynamic models, alongside with force/torque and proximity sensors. the developed architecture is verified through a series of simulations applied using MATLAB/Simulink environment and Simscape Multibody visualization method.

To improve the retrieval efficiency and accuracy of bill of quantities, a high-precision intelligent retrieval algorithm based on Elasticsearch (ES) engine, improved TF-IDF algorithm, and Jaccard similarity dynamic weighting algorithm is proposed. According to the features of bill of quantities, a kind of characteristic word extracting method based on TF-IDF and RE regular expression is proposed. the extracted characteristic words are divided into text features, specification features, and numeric features. the text features and specification features are stored in the NoSQL database of MongoDB to generate a historical feature database. the retrieval process of the to-be-retrieved bill is divided into two steps. the first step is named approximately retrieving, which extracts the ES searching words of the bill based on the historical feature database, and uses the ES engine to obtain the approximate matching database. the second step is designed to accurately retrieve the bill by dynamically computing the final similarity based on the three types of features and their weighted factors. © 2023 ieee.
