To discover the intended senses of query-words, articulated by the contexts of the query-words, ContextExplicator is used. the ContextExplicator incrementally organizes and visualizes the intended senses in a conceptual-lattice. the Conceptual Lattice works as a visual user-interface to incrementally display conceptual web-knowledge. the relevance of a context-term to a sense is measured by two principles such as maximizing the topical commonality and minimizing the ambiguity of the author-intended word-sense and the query-intention of the user. By the use of an iterative approach for discovering the context-terms of query-words, the user can refine their search criteria to view the refined categories of the available documents.
