Self-driving vehicles can move autonomously without involving a human pilot by sensing the surrounding environment. Having a forward collision avoidance system will help improve road safety and prevent car accidents. However, this system has drawbacks in terms of crash avoidance (i.e., lack of warning messages, complexity of driving situations and weather conditions). Recently, deep learning algorithms become more suitable to overcome this issue, which have better accuracy and adaptive capability to different environments. In this paper, we propose a Cooperative Forward Collision Avoidance System (CFCA) based on deep learning method. Particularly, this system alerts the driver and broadcast a multi-hop warning messages using vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication based ITS-G5. the experimental results show that the proposed system performs better than existing systems and can efficiently help drivers avoid collisions. In fact, we have considered two databases (KITTI and a private database). Our model achieved 94.04% accuracy with approximately 5% loss rate using KITTI database. While performance accuracy of approximately 92.42% was achieved using a private database.

Modern approaches to the organization of the educational process generate a need for the introduction of dual education. Such approach is particularly relevant for IT specialties. the main principles of dual education are presented and it is suggested to use the information model of a dual education applicant as a set of knowledge about a person used for organization of effective learning processes, as well as the thematic subject model of a dual education applicant, the functional object model of a dual education applicant, the semantic subject model of a dual education applicant, the procedural subject model of a dual education applicant. It is provided the model of dual education that consists of the following models such as a model of educational material, test question models, models of reference knowledge of an expert (a teacher), a model of knowledge and a model of the practical component of the educational process. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

Collaborative mobile computing is today one of the most popular paradigms of computing because of its impact on the performance and expansion of distributed systems and therefore on the development of Internet of things. Due to the rapid progress in technologies of communication and smart mobile devices with the growing trend towards its use, many architectures of mobile collaborative computing have emerged to improve and organize the expand of Internet of things, such as Cloud, Cloudlet, Fog, Edge, Mobile Edge, Mobile Cloudlet Computing, etc. In this paper, we first review their current layered architectural models and discuss their limits and challenges. then, we will present a new architectural model: Collaborative Autonomous networks of Mobile Devices Using Peer-to-Peer communication that can be applied in many areas. Finally, a scenario of an emergency situation is presented to illustrate and highlight its requirements, such as supporting connectivity and engineering of data and services. Traditional street light control systems only support manual control, photosensitive control, and simple timing control while the energy utilization rate is low and the operators cannot monitor the working state of the street lights in real time, which causes great inconvenience to management and maintenance. this paper designs an intelligent street light control system based on power line carrier communication, which effectively utilizes the power grid resources. In view of the shortcomings in the insufficient distance of power line carrier communication, the signal relay method is adopted to effectively extend the communication distance. It realizes the real-time control and management of street lighting, therefore, meeting the need of intelligent lighting. the experimental results show that the system runs stably and reliably to have great popularization value. the power terminal communication access network is an important part of the power communication network and an extension of the power backbone communication network. With the rapid development of communication technology, the technology applicable to the terminal communication access network is diversified. the most suitable communication access technology for different power terminal communication services is the prerequisite for improving communication efficiency and ensuring communication service quality. this paper designs the communication technology optimization matching algorithm based on subjective preference and objective mathematical analysis. the algorithm weighs the preference of the business to the attributes and the importance of each attribute itself, and finally derives the most suitable communication technology for different power communication services, which fundamentally improves the performance of the terminal communication access network. Due to the COVID-19 virus infections that have occurred recently, the development of an intelligent healthcare protocol that considers emergent heart cases becomes indispensable. this protocol is based on the method that aims to monitor patients remotely by using Internet of thing (IoT) devices, which do not select the nodes that are nearby the patient's or in the room to choose as a Clusters Head (CH). So on, the energy consumption of these devices will be reduced, because of their highest importance than the other non-medical ones. Accordingly, this paper proposes a method called High Importance Healthcare-Internet of things (HIHC-IoT), which is suitable for the emergent healthcare conditions of the patient and the caregiver. Furthermore, WSNs have some issues that reduce system performance, such as resource limits for sensors that may affect power supply, memory, communication capacity, and processing units. In the proposed work, the optimum set of CHs has been selected depending on the residual energy, the distance between the nodes, and the HI nodes. In addition, cloud technology, SDN architecture, and an efficient intelligent algorithm called High Importance-Future Search Algorithm (HI-FSA) have been used. Finally, the compered result of normal protocols with the proposed intelligent protocol, showed an increase in network life by about 40% and about 22% for an optimized routing protocol and increasing the number of packets delivered between nodes.

Nowadays, some applications need CNN inference on resource-constrained edge devices that may have very limited memory and computation capacity to fit a large CNN model. In such application scenarios, to deploy a large CNN model and perform inference on a single edge device is not feasible. A possible solution approach is to deploy a large CNN model on a (fully) distributed system at the edge and take advantage of all available edge devices to cooperatively perform the CNN inference. We have observed that existing methodologies, utilizing different partitioning strategies to deploy a CNN model and perform inference at the edge on a distributed system, have several disadvantages. therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel partitioning strategy, called Vertical Partitioning Strategy, together with a novel methodology needed to utilize our partitioning strategy efficiently, for CNN model inference on a distributed system at the edge. We compare our experimental results on the YOLOv2 CNN model with results obtained by the existing three methodologies and show the advantages of our methodologies in terms of memory requirement per edge device and overall system performance. Moreover, our experimental results on other representative CNN models show that our novel methodology utilizing our novel partitioning strategy is able to deliver CNN inference with very reduced memory requirement per edge device and improved overall system performance at the same time.

With the emergence of communication technologies (CT), humans have become more connected than ever to their environment through various devices and computer platforms. these devices are integrated into everyday life, in an omnipresent way, such that people can interact effortlessly and intuitively. the goal is to improve their life by allowing them access to various services and information at any time and in any situation or place they are even in harsh environment. this intensive technological presence in an area is called smart or connected zones. Within these zones, technology is used to collect, process and share information in order to facilitate citizens' activities and assist authorities in decision-making and efficient service provision. this paper reviews principal requirements and challenges for CT to be used in such zone. First, we introduce its concept by highlighting its characteristics, features, devices and applications. then we examine related works, communication requirements and challenges.
