With the development of large-bandwidth and IP-based bearer services in the power communication network, the existing SDH+PTN transmission system has been unable to meet the business development requirements during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period. SPN technology has evolved from PTN technology, which not only can provide ultra-large bandwidth, but also has highly reliable hard isolation (FlexE), which can carry low-delay scheduling data networks and other control services in areas I and II, as well as Carrying large-bandwidth data communication networks and other management services in areas III and IV. this paper proposes a test plan for the SPN analog networking, and tests the service isolation capability, transmission delay, and hybrid networking capabilities of the SPN networking. the analysis and comparison of the test results can provide support for the introduction of SPN technology by Shandong Electric Power during the “Fourteenth Five-Year Plan” period, and at the same time lay the foundation for the development of the transmission system of the electric power communication network.

this article focuses on estimation of dynamic sparse wireless channels. In order to ensure accurate coherent signal recovery in wireless communication systems, it is paramount for the receiver to have estimates of the channel knowledge. In this paper, channel estimator that is based on iterative hard thresholding (IHT) algorithm is proposed, while utilizing the temporal correlation associated with the dynamic sparse wireless channel. the proposed estimator is named iterative hard thresholding with Memory (IHT-wM)-based channel estimator. the estimator further employs its memory term to enhance channel estimation procedure in the system. the performance of the proposed IHT-wM-based channel estimator is compared with the performances of other previously proposed channel estimators. From the computer simulation-based results, the proposed IHT-wM-based channel estimator exhibits excellent performance when compared with the performances of other estimators, though with slightly expensive computational complexity cost in comparison with some of the other channel estimators considered in this paper.

this article is devoted to the development of a neural network learning algorithm that automatically detects cardiomyopathy based on an electrocardiogram (ECG). It also supports the automatic differentiation of myocardial infarction from cardiomyopathy and the symptoms of a healthy person through the proposed method. As a result, the rate of automatic differentiation of myocardial infarction and healthy person from cardiomyopathy reached 95.7%. Detection and diagnosis of such diseases can now be detected by various means, for example, ECG, laboratory, X-ray, MRI. In this paper, only the ECG-based method was considered.

this paper compares the general functionality of two algorithms used to recognize ten selected signs from the Peruvian Sign Language captured at their final spatial posture through an electronic glove. the first algorithm uses thresholds that separate accepted values from rejected ones, therefore being able to identify predefined signs. the second algorithm consists in a neural network trained with backpropagation. Both algorithms were programmed on an 8-bit microcontroller. After analyzing the measured performance data, we conclude that the neural network achieves higher recognition accuracy at the expense of more memory usage and a small increment in execution time.

Recent advancements in parallel computing, GPU technology and deep learning provide a new platform for complex image processing tasks such as person detection to flourish. Person detection is fundamental preliminary operation for several high level computer vision tasks. One industry that can significantly benefit from person detection is retail. In recent years, various studies attempt to find an optimal solution for person detection using neural networks and deep learning. this study conducts a comparison among the state of the art deep learning base object detector with the focus on person detection performance in indoor environments. Performance of various implementations of YOLO, SSD, RCNN, R-FCN and SqueezeDet have been assessed using our in-house proprietary dataset which consists of over 10 thousands indoor images captured form shopping malls, retails and stores. Experimental results indicate that, Tiny YOLO-416 and SSD (VGG-300) are the fastest and Faster-RCNN (Inception ResNet-v2) and R-FCN (ResNet-101) are the most accurate detectors investigated in this study. Further analysis shows that YOLO v3-416 delivers relatively accurate result in a reasonable amount of time, which makes it an ideal model for person detection in embedded platforms.

Localization techniques are going to be a significant part of 5G networks, not only for user-plane services (e.g., navigation) but they can also be used to improve network performance using Radio Environment Maps (REMs). the REM’s operation requires an accurate localization technique that can work in adequate (radio) environments with high reliability. this paper firstly, provides comprehensive overview of the existing localization techniques that can be used in 5G systems focusing on cellular network-based solutions and advancement in satellite-based localization. In this paper we propose random linear network coding (RLNC) as an efficient encoding scheme for unicast flows in single-hop ad hoc network and multi hop wireless mesh networks (WMN). the traditional approach for encoding unicast flows, known as inter-flow network coding (NC), assumes instant decoding and assumption of reliable feedback channel to minimizes the total number of transmissions. But under the practical consideration of the wireless medium access control (MAC), the gain of inter-flow NC technique suffers from higher latency due to the MAC overhead. We validate the result of our work on TelosB motes testbed. Our testbed implementation shows that the proposed approach of using RLNC reduces the transmission completion time by up to 40% compared to the inter-flow NC scheme for single-hop data dissemination and multi-hop wireless routing problems.

Operational risks remain one of the most difficult and relevant issues of risk management for companies which is interested in profitable operation and sustainable development. the aim of the work is analysis of existing solutions and proposes an effective method of forecasting losses from operational risks. Suggested methods are used retrospective analysis of data. Standard methods don't take into account the causal relationships and uncertainties which are typical for individual enterprises and ineffective. the paper proposes information technology based on the adaptive approach for construction of mathematical models, in particular using Bayesian belief networks, which in turn allow processing the uncertainties caused by the random nature of risk factors.

IPv6 over Low-Power Wireless Personal Area networks (6LoWPANs) have become an integral part of the Internet of things. In a 6LoWPAN, the deployed Sensor Nodes (SNs) gather vital information from the surrounding environment and transmit the amassed information to the server. An adversary can capture the un-encrypted information and use the collected information for malicious purposes. therefore, information security in a 6LoWPAN is imperative. For reliable communication in 6LoWPANs, an authentication scheme is essential to validate SN's authenticity. SNs and server then set up a session key for future encrypted communications. this paper proffers a Lightweight Authentication Scheme for 6LoWPAN Environments (LAS-6LE). LAS-6LE first verifies the legitimacy of data dispatching SNs and then establishes a secret key between the server and SN to achieve information confidentiality. the logical exactitude of LAS-6LE is corroborated through BAN logic. We demonstrate that LAS-6LE consumes fewer resources in a 6LoWPAN environment.

Problems of planning the execution of a set of jobs arising during the design and operation of backbone networks and transport and logistics centers are considered. this problem is formalized as the problem of finding the best schedule in a multi-agent system. Various options of problems of job planning and correction of deadlines depending on available throughput and processing capabilities are considered (all jobs are non-preemptive; all jobs allow interruptions and switching from one machine to another; part of jobs allows interruptions and switching, and part does not allow; in addition to machines non-renewable resource is also used). the mathematical solution is based on the reduction of incoming and outgoing flows to transport and logistics centers with a minimum cost in the backbone network. the areas of using the obtained results in the design systems of transport and logistics centers are proposed.
