communication interference and the energy limitation of nodes seriously hamper the fundamental performance of wireless sensor networks (WSN) such as throughput and network lifetime. In this paper, we focus on the Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) aiming to realize multi-node concurrency communication and propose a heuristic power control algorithm. To prolong the network lifetime, we consider the scenario of mobile wireless charging equipment (WCE) periodically charging each node's battery wirelessly. Time-slice scheduling scheme and energy consumption optimization protocol are adopted to design an efficient cross-layer charging strategy. then we use a near-optimal method to transform the original problem into a linear problem which yields identical optimal value. Simulation results demonstrate that adopting SIC and WCE can greatly improve channel utilization ratio and increase network throughput by 200% to 500% while ensuring the network lifetime.

Receiver-sided channel decoding is a crucial, but computationally very demanding task. Recently, information-bottleneck-based decoding received considerable attention in the literature, as it achieves very good performance with coarse quantization and low complexity. Information bottleneck de-coders replace the conventional node operations in the channel decoders with relevant-information-preserving mappings. In the literature, these mappings are typically represented as lookup tables. Unfortunately, the lookup tables are fairly large and the logic circuits needed to implement the lookup tables occupy significant chip area. this paper proposes a novel approach to overcome these impairments, which is based on a trainable function, i.e., a neural network. We show that a trained neural network can represent the mappings more compactly than the frequently used lookup tables. Moreover, our results show that even multiple-input-multiple-output mappings can be learned to replace lookup tables with prohibitive complexity. We investigate a coarsely quantized low-density parity-check decoder that realizes the relevant-information-preserving mappings for all decoding iterations with a single neural network to illustrate the practical benefits of the proposed concept.

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is one of the huge advance in wireless communication because its ability to gather a lot of information about the surrounding area that is deployed there by the use of hundreds and thousands nodes in the network. the nodes are responsible to gather and relay the data between each other to the Base Station (BS). the main issue here to be into consideration is the life time of the nodes and the number of packets that nodes are able to transfer from one node to another. this means that the energy of nodes is the parameters that should be optimized to let WSN works for a long time with efficient manner. To satisfy this, routing and clustering mechanisms should be energy aware. Because of this;chosen an efficient routing protocol with addition to a powerful technique of clustering is very important. In this paper, a Genetic Low Energy Adaptive Clustering (G-LEACH) is evaluated in 100 uniformly distributed wireless sensor networks in term of number of alive nodes, energy consumption, number of cluster heads and packets delivery to cluster heads. the election of cluster head is achieved by using genetic optimization approach which can determine the efficient and useful cluster heads. the results show that G-LEACH presents some advantages over the LEACH algorithm since the stability zone of the G-LEACH is greater than the stability zone of LEACH by 358 rounds since the first node dies after 1544 rounds in G-LEACH. that's mean;the network's lifetime lives 61.7% longer with the use of G-LEACH instead of LEACH. Meanwhile, the cluster heads are increased by 10% above LEACH when using G-LEACH. © 2019 IEEE.

Managing and delivering data packets at high frequency e.g., ≤ 28 GHz, using vehicles through delayed tolerant networks in cities is challenging. this is because of the high attenuation of high frequency signals with the presence of obstacles in cities, e.g., buildings. To address this limitation, this paper proposes the use of drones with the ground vehicles as relays to strength the signals and hence improve the DTN performance. We model our network in Opportunistic Network Environment (ONE) simulator to study the effect and impact of using drones with ground vehicles on the performance of DTN destination-based routing protocol. the simulation results show that the use of drones with ground vehicles improves the delivery probability to about 33% and decreases the delay to about 25% as compared to the use ground vehicles without drones.

the rising of diverse requirements and the traffic explosion lead to many challenges for traditional mobile network architecture on flexibility, scalability, and deployability. Service-based architecture is introduced into mobile networks to meet new requirements in the 5G era. the monolithic network elements are split into smaller network functions to provide customized services. However, the management and deployment of network function in service-based 5G core networks are still big challenges. In this paper, we propose the network automation using Kubernetes for automating application deployment, while using Open-shift Operator as a tool to manage 5G services. this operator lets us deploy all Mosaic 5G inside pods. In this Mosaic 5G Operator, especially in custom resource, we define the composition of core network, Radio Access Network (RAN), FlexRAN, ElasticSearch, and Kibana (as data visualization). For this purpose, we use the containerized OpenAirInterface (OAI) to deploy and demonstrate the automatability with extensive slicing radio support.

Vehicular Ad Hoc networks (VANET) is a technology that has been recently emerged, and brings a lot of interests. VANET can be used to improve road safety, reduce road traffic, serve interests of its users, and provide emergency services. therefore, it is important that VANETs are applied with reliable communication. However, the problem of reaching consensus in the distributed system is one of the most important issues in designing a reliable communication network. Reaching consensus on a same value in a distributed system is required;even if certain components in the distributed system fail, the protocol is necessary so that system can still operate correctly. In this study, the consensus problem is revisited with the assumption of transmission medium failure with dormant and malicious faults in the VANET. the proposed protocol allows all fault-free nodes to reach reliable consensus with minimal rounds of message exchanges, and tolerates the maximal number of allowable components in the VANET. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

this paper summarizes recent results on interference management and backhaul design in wireless networks via a degrees of freedom (DoF) analysis. A K-user interference network with coordinated multipoint (CoMP) transmission is considered first, under backhaul load constraints that limit the cooperation between the basestation transmitters. the per user DoF is characterized for locally connected linear interference networks and then extended to the more practical hexagonal sectored cellular networks. For the studied network models, by allowing for CoMP transmission and a flexible message assignment that is constrained by an average backhaul load, one can deliver the rate gains promised by information-theoretic upper bounds with practical one-shot zero-forcing schemes that incur little or no additional load on the backhaul. the DoF gains are then characterized for the downlink of a two-layered heterogeneous hexagonal cellular network with macro base stations (MB), small cell base stations (SB) that act as half duplex analog relays, and mobile terminals (MT). the first layer is a point-to-multipoint wireless backhaul between macro base stations and small cell base stations, and the second layer is the transmission layer between SBs and MTs. the two layers are assumed to use the same time/frequency resources for communication, thus limiting the maximum achievable per user DoF in the system to half, due to the half-duplex nature of the SBs. the proposed schemes are simple zero forcing schemes that employ joint processing and achieve cooperation similar to the single-layer K-user network but without overloading the wireless backhaul. this is achieved by sending an appropriate linear combination of users' messages from the MBs to the SBs that zero force the interference at the MTs. the achievable schemes exploit the half-duplexity of the SBs in the system and schedule the SBs and MTs to be active in different time-slots to reduce the interference. In this paper, we study the beamforming design for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) downlink systems. the design is formulated as a non-convex optimization problem which takes into account the quality of service (QoS) requirements of communication security and minimum harvested power. In particular, the proposed design advocates the dual use of energy signal to enable secure communication and efficient WPT. the globally optimal solution of the optimization problem is obtained via the semidefinite programming relaxation (SDR). Our simulation results show that there exists a non-trivial tradeoff between the achievable data rate and the total harvested power in the system. Besides, our proposed optimal scheme provides a substantial performance gain compared to a simple suboptimal scheme based on the maximum ratio transmission (MRT). © 2019, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

the problems of constructing a complex of mathematical models necessary for the formation of a distance education system and the creation of an integrated information network-oriented learning environment are analyzed. the approach ac-quires particular importance within training of the disabled and the need for re-training of former soldiers in the eastern part of Ukraine. It is proposed mathe-matical models of educational material (content), test tasks, reference knowledge of an expert (teacher), and a distant pupil or student. the paper suggests a con-ceptual model of the distance education system. Mathematical support and software as well as modeling the system of remote network-oriented education allows to automate not only the process of presentation of educational material, but also to form an individual learning trajectory of distance education, as the basis of such systems is the distributed model of in-formation storage. the advantages of algorithms for educational material presentation using the multi-valued logic apparatus are to minimize the use of expert assessments. Using a relational model for data storage can reduce the system complexity through the use of relational algebra operators. the proposed approach contributes to the organization of an effective learning process and the testing of acquired knowledge by each student in a remote mode. © 2019 IEEE.

It is prevailing to apply the Deep learning model to several problems related to autonomous driving. Usually, these solutions depend on a large scale of networks, especially the Convolution Neutral Network(CNN), requiring some specific databases of real image samples targeted at the certain issue for some proper trainings. the pursue for the recognition itself is not always necessary in the autonomous driving context if the experiment ignores the speed and the accuracy of the recognition of these traffic signs since these autonomous driving vehicles will not have a plenty of time on the road, just as in the laboratory, to recognize what the traffic sign in the camera is. In order to improve the efficiency and the accuracy of the recognition of these traffic signs, this paper proposes a novel CNN-based algorithm, which contains more convolution layers and fully-connected layers. In this case, in order to meet the demand of the novel CNN structure taken in the experiment, the dataset has also been modified ahead of the experiment, which has been called the preprocessing operation. the dataset which has been chosen as the dataset for this experiment is the German Traffic Sign Benchmarks (GTSRB). the dataset generation method has also been used in the experiment which requires only (i) common natural images, and (ii) templates of the traffic signs, which are created to illustrate the meaning and the category of a traffic sign. the generated training dataset is shown to be effective when using the novel CNN structure proposed by this paper. the experiment result has achieved to 0.069783 oftrain loss and 0.030411 ofvalid loss. the experiment surprisingly shows that CNN can be trained with data generation methods to get a dramatically more efficient and accurate result which is usually ignored in the formal mainstream papers © 2019 IEEE.
