the deployment of embedded sensing devices on croplands and pastures is an enabling element for precision agriculture applications. Changing conditions (e.g., different crops being grown), however, may require the occasional reconfiguration of the resulting networks of wireless sensors, e.g., to modify data reporting rates or synchronize internal clocks. In this demo we showcase an opportunistic broadcast channel to forward such configuration messages to embedded systems. the transmitting station is realized by means of an electric fence energizer, a device frequently utilized in agricultural settings. On the receiver side, only little hardware efforts are required to capture the highvoltage pulses and decode transmitted configuration messages.

In this paper we proposed a UAV-based wireless network for bridging communication between nodes on the ground. the proposed method provides on the fly communication facilities in order to connect two machines through a wireless access point mounted on a UAV through IEEE 802.11n. We conducted our experiments in an outdoor environment to investigate the performance of 802.11n at both 2.4 and 5 GHz band. Our evaluations showed that 802.11n at 5 GHz performs slightly better than 802.11n at 2.4 GHz with respect to data rate. We also concluded that 802.11n at both 2.4 and 5 GHz are practicable in rescue operations and disaster management scenarios.

Recently, the interest in using Blockchain as a secure and distributed ledger has increased dramatically. Although the main purpose of Blockchain by means of Bitcoin was about cryptocurrency and peer to peer transactions, its application to other systems has been widely used. One of the fields that has potential possibilities to benefit from BlockChain features is telecommunication. BlockChain can be applied in case of management of various networks to reduce some expenses. In this position paper, we apply a BlockChain network with smart contract in the cellular mobile networks. the Blockchain can provide a distributed HSS in a way that the core networks of different operators can use it in a secure manner. Moreover, the smart contract can act as a distributed Self Organizing Network features to handle self-transactions among mobile operators in return of sharing small cells' infrastructure.

To use this information for automatic processing it has to be saved in a structured way. therefore the messages have to be analysed and transferred into a database structure. In this process the special characteristics of communication platforms as data sources containing different user content need to be taken into consideration. this results in a concept which is based primarily on machine learning and largely independent of the grammar used in the messages shared by the communication platforms. Detecting communities in networks is to find subgroups of nodes with similar characteristics, which is commonly defined as finding groups of nodes with dense connection in undirected networks. However, communities in directed networks can represent connectivity patterns because of asymmetric relations, which is difficult to capture using traditional algorithms. In this paper, a Gamma-Poisson block model is proposed for community detection in directed networks, which can model not only assortative communities but also communities with various connectivity patterns due to a block matrix. the model can also be extended to undirected networks if we set the block matrix symmetric, and for assortative community detection task if we set the block matrix diagonal. We develop an efficient Gibbs sampling algorithm for the inference work, which can scale to large sparse networks since links other than node pairs are considered during each iteration. We compare our model with several previous ones on a variety of real-world networks and the results demonstrate the advantages in our model.
