Nowadays everything becomes wireless sensors, WSNs used in many applications like health care systems, surveillance of natural disasters mainly in the military, in the wireless sensor network the most challenging parameters are average localization error, time, and accuracy of the network, theaccuracy will play the major role in the network. In this paper, we are discussing the different types of algorithms and compare the accuracy of the target detection algorithms. Generative AI has demonstrated significant capabilities in text-to-video synthesis, using advanced models characterized by extensive parameters. Given that current disaster alert services are mostly text-based and can be less accessible to many, this paper proposes a new approach. We aim to provide animated disaster images that precisely mirrors text prompts, thereby enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of disaster alerts. Our methodology combines the strengths of segmentation models and pre-trained Vision Transformer (ViT) mechanisms. By using a unique image selection based on CLIPScore and processing it with the CLIPSeg segmentation model, we generate an animated representation of disaster scenarios. this offers a simple, fast, and effective solution to the challenges of the current disaster alert systems. © 2023 IEEE.

We present a multifunctional communication gateway (BTS), which we widely use in our telemedicine projects. this device primarily collects data from our sensor devices and distributes it to the back-end and relevant databases. the reverse data flow is also possible. For example, when developers, doctors, or the subjects themselves want to change the configuration of sensory devices, display the status, manage them remotely, or start synchronous measurements. the device is from a design point of view like a classic router. However, due to higher data transmission resistance and reliability, especially in disruptive or signal dense environment, we use own 2.4 GHz proprietary protocol for communication between sensors and BTS. the data flow between the BTS and the back-end, depending on availability, is carried out either by Wi-Fi or LTE network. the device is built universal and it can be easily supplemented with other communication protocols in the future. © 2022 IEEE.

eParticipation covers a range of activities, from online voting to deliberation. In this paper, I examine the activity called e-campaigning, political parties use of digital channels during election campaigns. Norwegian political parties have used digital channels for campaigning since 2001, and social media since 2009. In this study, I present the findings from the Norwegian parliamentary election campaign of 2021. Using genre theory, I examine how Norwegian political campaigning in social media has evolved between 2009 and the latest election in 2021. the findings indicate that social media use has stabilized between the 2017 and 2021 elections, with communication genres established in 2017 being similar to the ones found in 2021. Finally, I discuss how the way social media is currently being used reflects the constitutional goal of including citizens in political participation.

To protect the security of IT systems of companies and organizations, Role Based Access Control is a widely used concept. the corresponding optimization problem, the Role Mining Problem, which consists of finding an optimum set of roles based on a given assignment of permissions to users was shown to be NP-complete and evolutionary algorithms have demonstrated to be a promising solution strategy. It is usually assumed that the assignment of permissions to users, used for role mining, reflects exactly the permissions needed by a user to perform the given tasks. However, considering enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) in real-world use cases, permission-to-user assignments are often outdated or, if at all, only partially available. In contrast, trace data, which records the behavior of users in ERP systems, is easily available. this paper describes and analyzes the different data types and sources provided by ERP systems. Furthermore, it is examined, if this data is suitable to create an initial permission-to-user assignment or to enhance the quality of a yet existing one. For this purpose, different trace-data-based methods are introduced. In the context of an industry-related research project, ERP data of two different companies is analyzed and used to evaluate the presented methods. A real-time object-tracking device is a crucial technology that continuously locates and monitors moving objects. this paper explores the fundamental principles of such a device, emphasizing its role in creating a compact tracker weighing 19 grams and utilizing GPS data with GSM connectivity to broadcast the location of moving objects to a cloud server and then to client devices through web and mobile applications. Current tracker devices on the market are limited in terms of real-time monitoring, size, weight, and accuracy for small moving objects. therefore, this paper demonstrates the contribution of a lightweight real-time tracker, Prototype-1, designed to overcome these limitations. Experimental results show that Prototype-1 achieves lower Mean Absolute Error, Root Mean Square Error, and Standard Deviation compared to commercial devices, indicating higher accuracy and consistency. While tested using bird tracking as a case study, the device's applicability extends to various moving objects. this advancement enhances the state of the art in real-time tracking technology. © 2024 the Authors.

the aim of this paper is to show how machine learning can predict whether an individual is more powerful than others in the group. the crucial point here is to consider the structural position of the actors in the social networks in which they are embedded. the approach we have taken for constructing these intra-group networks is the aggregation of communication and support interactions. Our research is based on longitutional data from the Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) Travian that was collected over a 12-month period. the data includes 202,764 communication and 96,913 support interactions between players that we applied for the construction of interaction networks. We also had access to status information on a daily basis for 21,431 individual players who were members of 4,758 alliances. Methodically, we applied 10 established metrics from SNA-based team research in combination with the Random Forstest classification algorithm. Our results show that interaction networks are well suited to assign members into two groups of powerful (elite) and nonpowerful (non-elite) players. It turned out that the identification of non-elite members was much easier to accomplish than that of elite members. Regarding the application of multiplex networks, we could not confirm a higher explanatory power by using combined networks. In summary, we can say that the network patterns of elite members are clearly different from those of non-elite members. In this way, we were able to predict affiliation to each category with an accuracy (F1) of 0.88 for communication networks and 0.83 for support networks. © 2022 IEEE.

the advent of the online food delivery system in the Philippines opened tremendous opportunities in the food sector as it aimed to provide smooth, hassle-free, and reliable service to the Filipino food industry. Filipinos embraced satisfying their cravings without leaving their homes and experiencing long restaurant lines. Equipped with this trendy online food delivery system, one of the downsides is maintaining the quality of food during delivery. the quality of the food delivered is sometimes compromised. External factors such as traffic congestion and improper food storage play an essential role in keeping food fresh. In addition to preparing the food to be delivered, food storage is also an important component when it comes to maintaining the quality of the food during the delivery process. With this, the researchers came up with the idea of a food delivery storage integrated with the concepts of the Peltier effect under thermoelectric technology. the design of a Dual-Purpose Food Delivery Storage Utilizing the Peltier Effect aims to create an efficient food delivery storage that can slow down the temperature of the food or beverage within the system. © 2022 IEEE.
