Service robots have been traditionally classified by technology and labor type. However, service robots communicate withhuman employees and consumers to collaborate and deliver service on the frontline. the purpose of this research was to propose a framework for classifying service robots used in commercial places based on the communication that is essential for collaboration and service delivery. the framework classifies service robots into six types, withthe x-axis representing the level of communication and the y-axis representing the labor method that service robots use to provide services. through the framework, the study explained 1) how the service robot and the employee communicate when they collaborate and 2) how the service robot and consumer communicate by communication levels. In addition, it identified the design elements needed for each section of the framework. this will help robot developers and designers consider design elements at different levels of communication when designing service robots in commercial places to enhance the experience of collaboration and service delivery. It is expected that communication will be considered important when developing service robots using the classification of service robots based on the framework proposed in this paper.

the role of frontline health worker (FHW) is of utmost importance especially in lower socio-economic settings of India. An in-depth understanding of the system is crucial for designing tools to support their work practices. this paper is an early and exploratory designresearch study that focuses on the data work done by three kinds of FHW, namely ASHA workers (AW), Anganwadi workers (AWW) and Junior health assistant (JHA), who collaboratively form the foundation of community-based pregnancy care. Our findings focus on some of the challenges faced by FHW as well as how they go beyond their structured role to serve good health service in pregnancy care. researchers & designers can use these findings to open up the future possibilities of designing advanced data-driven tools to support frontline health worker's work.
this paper presents a context-aware, personalised, persuasive (CPP) system design framework applicable to the sustainable transport field and other behaviour change support system domains. It operates on a situational...

the advancing awareness of diversity in HCI is touted as laudable in addressing inequality and the digital divide. this progress however has not been reflected in HCI research. Diversity in HCI has focused on giving underrepresented users voice and confronting homogeneity. By increasing representations, though a diversity affinity is immediately visible, the deconstruction of institutionalized prejudice fails. Additionally, underrepresented voices have the unsurmountable task of representing their group. these approaches to diversity become tokenistic fixes failing to tackle the systemic causes of inequality. In this paper, we argue for a systemic approach to diversity in HCI. We call for setting diversity at the core of HCI where human realities and experiences are embodied rather than defined by "what users must be" or "what users are not". the paper contributes the following: a detailed overview of diversity in HCI and presents a conceptual framework for diversity driven HCI withthree correlated recommendations for setting diversity at the core of HCI.

Worth-Centered design (WCD) provides designers with six principles, five "D" s, a framework, and a set of tools, techniques, and methods for designing interactive systems that deliver worth. Despite its potential, WCD has not received much attention: the related literature is not intensive and the design methodology has not been investigated in many actual design settings. the community lacks of experience with WCD. this paper first compiles the state-of-the-art on WCD and then relates the worth-centered design of Cocoon, a mobile and context-aware application. It presents further insights about the notion of worth and provides the community with nine lessons from experience for informing future worth-centered designs. Worth maps appear as a treasure also for worth assessment over time, giving rise to the ARROW (Appreciations, Requirements and Rationale Of Worth) framework and research perspectives.
