there is a problem of large data array real time visualization. the source of the data can be the problem calculation produced on a cluster. the problem of visualization concerns the importance of synchronous accumulation and treatment of the data collected from all the cluster nodes. the problem was solved withthe help of the dynamic data retrieval on the calculating complex nodes followed by their synchronous transference to the visualizating machine. this permits the visualization system ScientificVR (SVR) to reflect in the real time the data supplied by the cluster version of the gas-dynamic modeling package GasDynamicsTool (GDT).

We describe an image based rendering algorithm that allow visualizing large spatial scenes. Images acquired by ordinary digital camera are used as inputs. these images are transformed into panoramic views, which are 4D parameterization of the full plenoptic function, for further storing. Using simple proxy geometry, we can create novel view from these structures. the cases when our approach can be used are formulated. the results of our algorithm for both synthetic and real scenes are demonstrated.

We propose a simplification algorithm that preserves the surface's shape features. In a pre-processing step, crest lines are extracted and used together with a quadric error metric to drive the simplification. the error metric is utilized locally to ensure that every mesh's region is simplified in a similar rate. this algorithm attempts to minimize the creation of tiny or very large faces. A comparison with Garland and Heckbert's simplification algorithm is presented. the experimental results show a substantial improvement of the simplified surface's quality both visually and numerically.
