With the widespread popularity of online reviews and crowdsourcing, people may publish fake comments on online review system and get paid for crowdsourcing tasks. In order to identify these reviewers, machine learning methods are commonly used in traditional strategies and it is difficult to guarantee the accuracy of detection. In this work, we adopt a modeling method based on the graph structure and propose a novel aggregation method called CrowdDet. therefore, two clear diagrams of Reviewer-to-Product and Co-Reviewer are constructed. Specifically, we first extract the node features and structure information in the graph, gaining the reviewers’ features and neighborhood relations features. Secondly, we use an elaborate attention-based mechanism to aggregate the factors of reviewers in Review-space and Sociality-space, which comprehensively combines the representation of the reviewer factors from multiple dimensions. thirdly, we get the classification results and optimize the original loss function by Focal loss to alleviate the impact of class imbalance. In the experiment, we verify the proposed scheme on a real dataset and compare it with other methods. the results show that our scheme has a significant effect under the real dataset, with a recall rate of 0.85+. Our research also provides a relevant foundation for resisting the malicious behavior from crowdsourcing. © 2021, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Model-based simulations are important in the automotive industry to study and evaluate the vehicle behavior. In this paper, the Power-Oriented Graphs (POG) technique is used as a tool for modeling epicyclic gear trains. A full elastic dynamic model of the system is first derived, which can then be reduced by neglecting the elastic contact points between the gears while still being able to recover the time behaviors of the spring tangential forces. the proposed modeling method is then applied to two epicyclic gear trains, and the design of a suitable control allowing to minimize the system dissipations is presented and applied to the second case study.

this study proposes a method for discrete event systems subjected to sensors fault based on timed automata model. A reconfiguration model of the entire system is developed using two different models. First, the plant model, representing the system components with their logical behavior. Secondly, the specification model, representing the system's time rules. Whenever an undiagnosable sensor defect is discovered by time diagnosis, the regular behavior controller is changed into a timed controller, which substitutes the lost sensor signal with timed information. A manufacturing system is used to demonstrate the proposed approach. It is modeled and simulated by Factory I/O simulator and Grafcet studio, results of the simulation in faultless and various faulty scenarios are presented.

the proposed model uses Chirp signal for estimating of online secondary path identification which contributes to the residual error and to ensure the convergence of the AVC system, the main aim, and advantage of the paper is to tackle sudden disturbances and uncertainties in the system. Also studied the convergence behavior of the FXLMS algorithm in the AVC system by using a chirp signal. Normally, the larger the auxiliary noise signal, the faster an accurate model can be obtained. However, it also increases the residual error of the Active vibration control (AVC) system. the main problem related to the appearance of axillary noise in residual vibration is also minimized by the proposed method. In this way, much good modeling accuracy and much fast convergence rate can be achieved. Computer simulation demonstrates the effectiveness and shows that the chirp signal with variable step size (VSS) and OSPM approach has more vibration rejection capabilities and how can control sudden disturbances with much better convergence rate.

the tedious, often hand-modeled, activity of designing and implementing simulation scenarios can benefit from modern-day data-driven methods, i.e., machine-learning (ML). We envision a toolchain that exploits information obtained during live operations, such as the observed maneuvers, techniques, and procedures of all interacting players in live operational settings, that serves as input into an ML-based scenario authoring process. We present a mechanism, called the Parameter Diversifier (PD), that takes a base scenario structure and synthesizes the comprehensive datasets needed for the supervised machine-learning of a scenario authoring model. the design of the PD explores and exploits low-level agent state search space as it relates to it high-level implications at the scenario level. this work demonstrates an explicit sampling of the scenario parameter search space to build an implicit model for use in simulation scenario generation.

In this work, we study the influence of using different lumping strategies on the thermal recovery of an extraheavy oil. Numerical simulation of thermal recovery processes typically requires advanced thermodynamic equilibrium computations to model the phase behavior and displacement. those models rely on compositional descriptions of the oil using up to tens of components. Lumping a large number of components into a smaller number of pseudo-components in order to reduce the computational cost is standard practice for thermal simulations. In the context of reactive transport, most reaction schemes usually use at most four hydrocarbon components. However, the impact the lumping process has on the displacement processes can be hard to estimate a priori. We focus on 1D, 3-phase combustion tube-like numerical simulations of In-Situ Combustion (ISC) displacement processes. these thermal-compositional-reactive simulations exhibit a tight coupling between mass and energy conservation, through phase behavior, heat transport and reactions. We observe that depending on the number and type of lumped pseudo-components retained in the simulation, the results can exhibit modeling artefacts and/or fail to capture the relevant displacement processes. ISC cases involve multiple fronts moving downstream, including a steam front, a reaction/temperature front and multiple saturation fronts. First, we show that using a small number of components does not allow for an accurate estimation of the phase behavior of an extra-heavy oil. Using the typical reaction-based descriptions of a few hydrocarbon components (1-4) leads to inaccurate phase envelopes, for multiple compositions encountered in the displacement process. then, we illustrate that under hot air injection without reactions, the displacement results do not capture the physical phenomena. We have developed an agent-based model of e-commerce platform users' behavior with emphasis on reflecting decision-making characteristics of elderly adults. the model has been used to verify how cognitive deficits of older customers influence the effectiveness of collaborative filtering and content-based recommender systems. the results from our simulation suggest that the effectiveness of recommender systems in improving quality of elderly consumers choices is low for population of agents with strong cognitive deficits.

the wave properties for two-dimensional (2D) Yukawa liquids and solids have been investigated using Equilibrium molecular dynamics (EMD) technique for the first time. In present work, the longitudinal current correlation (LCC) C-L (k, t) and the transverse current correlation (TCC) C-T (k, t) functions have been computed for plasma parameters of Debye screening strength kappa and the Coulomb coupling parameter Gamma and explain the oscillation, frequency and damping behavior of the waves. New simulations provide the modes of wave propagation in 2D Yukawa liquids and solids with series of increasing frequency (omega) and decreasing frequency (omega) at different combinations of plasmas parameters (kappa, Gamma). the obtained results from present simulations for 2D dusty plasma liquids and solids have been compared and discussed with previous known results from simulation and theoretical calculations, by using different numerical methods.

Ecological models are useful in modeling organizations and their competition over resources. However, the traditional approaches, particularly Blau space models, are restrictive in their dependence on a continuous space. In addition, these models are susceptible to indicating competition in sparsely populated areas of an ecology. To deal with these problems we propose a reconceptualization of Blau space that utilizes a cellular structure to model a wider number of variable types, and simple probabilistic urn models to evaluate competition between organizations. We briefly review the basic concepts of Blau Space, demonstrate the issues with traditional Blau space modeling, and present a new model referred to as the Hybrid model.

Citizen Initiatives for Global Solidarity (CIGS) are small, ad hoc, volunteer organizations that arise in certain humanitarian and development contexts. they operate outside of traditional aid structures and may or may not cooperate with traditional government and nongovernmental organizations. Using agent-based modeling, we derive narrative-based, qualitative scenarios from simulation data to extend the theoretical discussions of CIGS as a phenomenon. the scenarios allow further discussion of the role that CIGS may play as development and humanitarian response actors outside of the traditional context-specific descriptions of CIGS that permeate the development literature. We find that scenarios generated from the simulation data align somewhat with the qualitative researchers’ field observations, specifically in describing conditions under which some types of CIGS thrived while others failed. the points of departure from the model scenarios generated a dialogue that promises to further the theoretical and conceptual development of a generalizable framework for understanding CIGS as a phenomenon, which has been lacking in the field where most insights have been generated from country-specific, small sample case studies. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
