Designing fast singular value decomposition (SVD) is significantly interesting in applications. the random direct SVD (RSVD) has provided a fast scheme to compute the well approximate SVD by unilateral randomized sampling. In this paper, we present an efficient random algorithm in a bilateral sampling way. We also prove that the proposed algorithms can be bounded well and have less computational complexity compared to RSVD when the objective matrix is approximately square. Numerical experiments on graph Laplacian and Hilbert matrix demonstrate the efficiency and stability of the proposed methods.

the demographic growth in cities has increased carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, a significant problem that challenges societies worldwide. the CO2 emission raises the pollution levels causing health risks for the people and contributes to climate change. Moreover, the transportation sector is responsible for 20.6% of CO2 emissions. thus, it is necessary to reduce vehicle fuel consumption to minimize CO2 emissions. this paper proposes a system based on artificial intelligence techniques: a fuzzy controller and a neural network to find the instantaneous speed, which reduces vehicle fuel consumption. the proposed system employs only vehicle and highway information, which means communication between vehicles is not required. the simulation scenario comprises a loaded truck traveling through a highway with slopes based on a data set. Results derived from simulation show that both techniques produce a lower fuel consumption than the standard Simulation of Urban MObility (SUMO) algorithm.

Agent technology can reflect the characteristics of humanoid social organization and incarnate flexible behavior, when it disposes this kind of scheduling problem. this paper describes an improved meeting scheduling negotiation model, a detailed analysis, and its specific implementations are given. the meeting scheduling system consists of web interface and background program based on Multi-Agents System, and achieves the Multi-Agents system which is based on distributedcomputing environment by a web GUI to access its management.
