distributed simulation technology is evolving continually from early 1980 to the present day, and a series of specifications and protocols have been made. there are a number of research issues which are raised by HLA-based collaborative simulation. As there is the lack of architecture of collaborative simulation evaluation method which serves during the whole process of simulation execution, this paper presents a framework of HLA-based collaborative simulation intelligent evaluation system. Firstly, scenario evaluation method based on Expert System is present. Secondly, run-time evaluation technology are proposed to watch simulation execution and help to optimize mode of data traffic. thirdly, this paper presents a approach to flexibly collect data, and flexibly realize various evaluation algorithms. Finally, this paper illuminates the prototype of the intelligent evaluation system and its application in an warship simulation system.

An agent-based management and control system is being developed to enable large-scale deployment of distributed energy resources. Local intelligent agents will allow consumers who are connected at low levels in the distribution network to manage their energy requirements and participate in aggregated responses to network stimuli. Such responses can ease the volatility of wholesale electricity prices and assist constrained networks during summer and winter demand peaks. Coordination of loads and distributed generators is shown in simulation, and hardware trials relevant to industrial applications are described.

Grid computing is becoming a mainstream technology for large-scale distributed resource sharing and system integration. Workflow management is emerging as one of the most important grid services. In this paper, we present a planning enhanced grid workflow management system based on agent (AGWMS). AGWMS has a four-layer architecture. the agent layer makes the system more robust, flexible and intelligent. Artificial intelligence (AI) planning technology is utilized in the system to build the agent plans automatically. the adapter layer makes it easy that AGWMS invokes external applications. Our planning enhanced AGWMS is a novel one.

As an emerging technology for implementing Web services over the Internet, mobile agent model has several advantages over the traditional RFC model. However, withthe popularity of distributed networks (e.g. Internet), Web service providers tend to rely on external resources to complete certain tasks. this definitely increases the difficulty in locating appropriate service providers according to clients' requirements in the new scenario. To address this issue, we propose a reinforcement learning process based on the mobile agent model, which makes agents more efficient and intelligent in selecting Web service providers. Finally, an implementation of our prototype is presented

In e-science environments, scientific workflow management systems (SWMS) hide the integration details among grid resources and allow scientists to prototype an experimental computing system at a high level of abstraction. However, the development of an effective SWMS requires profound knowledge on both application domains and the network programming, and is often time consuming. Agent technologies provide suitable solutions to decompose the control intelligence of flow execution and to encapsulate distributed e-science resources. the work presented in this paper is conducted in the context of the Dutch Virtual Laboratory for e-science (VL-e) project. Agent technologies are proposed to realize generic workflow support
