With the development of the new generation of information network technology and the massive data integration generated by the Internet of Everything, the management planning of data is becoming more and more reasonable. the data management plane is configured and issued to the data service plane, which can meet the data transmission requirements of different application scenarios. Most network configurations need to be performed during network downtime or when the device is offline, which makes it difficult to meet the requirements for application scenarios such as industrial control. Time- sensitive network (TSN) introduces centralized network configuration (CNC) and centralized user configuration (CUC) through IEEE 802.1Qcc to realize the dynamic configuration of the network and flexibly configure new devices and data flows when the network is running. this paper designs a centralized time-sensitive network controller cluster system to configure the resources of the data service plane of time-sensitive network devices, optimize the resource utilization of the network, and realize flexible networking of the network; based on the distributed cluster technology characteristics of the ONOS open source controller, the network controller is designed and deployed with high reliability, and the controller fault tolerance and elasticity mechanism are realized to solve the reliability problem caused by the single point failure of the TSN network controller.

Distribution grid protection, control, and monitoring systems target high levels of safety and reliability and address the need for better state estimation, protection and control schemes. these systems also need to take into account the increase of distributed Energy Resources (DERs) penetration into the power distribution grids. Moreover, the bulk penetration of DERs on distribution grid will have a considerable impact on the global power system stability. Challenges also arise to re-energize customers faster and more efficiently than today. Fault Detection, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FDIR) systems, which utilize real-time data exchange from various intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), would require better communication technologies to this purpose. To mitigate these risks and provide new functionalities, a new paradigm could be considered for the design and operation of power distribution grids if all the devices could be interconnected through secure, reliable, and low latency communication *** communication technology services fit the FDIR communication requirements but can be expensive and difficult to deploy over the whole area covered by electric networks already in place. Hence, Smart Grids (SGs) can leverage the use of emerging information and communication technologies (ICTs) such as 5G, to become more cost effective. the conducted work proposes a flexible communication architecture based on 5G, providing highly customized communication services according to diverse performance requirements demanded by the future FDIR schemes. It involves the implementation of new protection functions in order to complete the existing monitoring and automation features of the electric system.

Diffusion MRI (dMRI) is widely used for the detection and diagnosis of various pathologies due to its non-invasive nature. However, its signal acquisition process is relatively slow and susceptible to motions. In order to accelerate reconstruction process, many deep learning-based methods have been developed in recent years to achieve promising results, while most of them are supervised based methods and require fully sampled data which are difficult to obtain in practical applications to train the network. Self-supervised based methods were proposed to deal with this problem to a certain extent, however, they are devoted only to conventional MRI data, ignoring the correlation between the directions of dMRI data. To address this issue, we propose a self-supervised fast reconstruction method for dMRI based on multi-directional assistance. the method better utilizes the information between dMRI data directions by Partition-Replace operation, cleverly constructing data pairs and designing effective self-supervised strategy for bi-directional prediction, which can overcome the problem of data incompleteness and guide the model to reconstruct unsampled signals in spite of the difficulty of acquiring fully sampled data. Experimental results show that our method achieves better reconstruction in the absence of fully sampled data, even with an 8-fold acceleration factor.

Federated learning (FL) has been widely adopted as a privacy-preserving model training paradigm. However, traditional FL protocol heavily relies on data transmission between clients and servers across the wide-area network (WAN), which is tightly constrained and unreliable, therefore causing expensive communication and slow convergence. To this end, we propose a LAN-aware FL (LanFL) protocol, which can efficiently leverage the network capacity of the local-area network (LAN). By frequent model aggregation among the devices within the same LAN, we can significantly reduce the global aggregation across WAN, thus accelerating the training process. However, due to the unique challenges introduced by LAN, it’s not easy to efficiently utilize LAN resources while preserving the original dignity of FL performance. therefore, LanFL also incorporates several critical techniques: LAN-aware hierarchical aggregation, intraLAN device topology construction, and inter-LAN heterogeneous bandwidth coordination. Extensive real-world experiments are conducted and the experimental results show that LanFL can significantly accelerate FL training up to $6.0 \times$, while preserving the model accuracy.

Computer vison [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] studies properties of machine vision, its semantic understanding, and general manipulations by intelligent Mathematics (IM) [6], [7], [8], [9], [10] [11], [12], [13], [14], [15] [16], [17]. Computer vison has been studies from various aspects such as algorithmic methods, analysis methods, pattern recognitions, and neural-network-regression (AI) technologies [2], [3]. However, there is a lack of fundamental theories for enabling autonomous image recognition and processing by machines. Basic research on contemporary IM has revealed that formal manipulations of visual objects by intelligent machines may be rigorously implemented by Image Frame Algebra (IFA) [8], [18] in the front-end and Visual Semantic Algebra (VSA) [19] in the backend. IFA formally manipulates visual images as general 2D matrixes by a set of algebraic operators such as modeling, analyses, syntheses, feature elicitation, and pattern recognition [4], [5], [18]. then, its counterpart, VSA, transforms the geographic relations of visual objects to their semantic interpretations by algebraic analyses and compositions. the coherent theory of IFA and VSA provides a formal methodology for machine-enabled image processing and comprehension. this keynote presents a theoretical framework of machine vision underpinned by IFA and VSA for the structural denotations of visual objects and functional manipulations of visual mechanisms [3], [8], [9]. It demonstrates how the persistent challenges to machine vision may be rigorously and efficiently solved by the IFA/VSA methodology. Case studies on applying IFA/VSA for rigorous visual pattern detection, recognition, analysis, and composition in real world will be demonstrated [5], [18], [20]. As Internet of things technology advances quickly, Sparse Mobile CrowdSensing has been used as a productive way to collect and process data. Leveraging the real time capabilities and wide coverage of Internet of things communication, Sparse Mobile CrowdSensing utilizes distributed sensing nodes to collect and process real-time data, thereby supporting diverse intelligent services. In practical scenarios, users are often required to upload data carrying location information to support subsequent data completion. However, such data can expose sensitive user information, posing significant privacy risks. To mitigate these risks, location obfuscation techniques are employed to reduce the likelihood of privacy leakage. Nevertheless, these privacy-preserving measures can significantly degrade the quality of data completion. To address this challenge, we propose a scheme that integrates data correction to balance privacy protection and data completion quality. Specifically, our approach obfuscates location data using geographic indistinguishability and leverages historical data to obtain the data regularity, enabling modifications to the obfuscated data to ensure its usability. Our mechanism performs better than other baseline methods in terms of ensuring data completion accuracy while preserving a certain degree of privacy, according to evaluation on the real datasets.

the fifth-generation (5G) offers advanced services, supporting applications such as intelligent transportation, con-nected healthcare, and smart cities within the Internet of things (IoT). However, these advancements introduce significant security challenges, with increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks. this paper proposes a robust intrusion detection system (IDS) using federated learning and large language models (LLMs). the core of our IDS is based on BERT, a transformer model adapted to identify malicious network flows. We modified this transformer to optimize performance on edge devices with limited resources. Experiments were conducted in both centralized and federated learning contexts. In the centralized setup, the model achieved an inference accuracy of 97.79 %. In a federated learning context, the model was trained across multiple devices using both IID (Independent and Identically distributed) and non-IID data, based on various scenarios, ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations. We also leveraged linear quantization to com-press the model for deployment on edge devices. this reduction resulted in a slight decrease of 0.02 % in accuracy for a model size reduction of 28.74 %. the results underscore the viability of LLMs for deployment in IoT ecosystems, highlighting their ability to operate on devices with constrained computational and storage resources.

Public key management scheme in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) is an inevitable solution to achieve different security services such as integrity, confidentiality, authentication and non reputation. Probabilistic asymmetric key pre-distribution (PAKP) is a self-organized and fully distributed approach. It resolves most of MANET's challenging concerns such as storage constraint, limited physical security and dynamic topology. In such a model, secure path between two nodes is composed of one or more random successive direct secure links where intermediate nodes can read, drop or modify packets. this way, intelligent selection of intermediate nodes on a secure path is vital to ensure security and lower traffic volume. In this paper, subjective logic is used to improve PAKP method with the aim to select the most trusted and robust path. Consequently, our approach results in a better data traffic and also improve the security. Proposed algorithm chooses the least number of nodes among the most trustworthy nodes which are able to act as intermediate stations. We exploit two subjective logic based models: one exploits the subjective nature of trust between nodes and the other considers path conditions. We then evaluate our approach using network simulator ns-3. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed protocol compared to the basic PAKP scheme.

Structured peer-to-peer systems have emerged as infrastructures for resource sharing in large-scale, distributed, and dynamic environments. One challenge in these systems is to efficiently maintain routing information in the presence of nodes joining, leaving, and failing. Many systems use costly periodic stabilization protocols to ensure that the routing information is up-to-date. In this paper, we present a novel technique called correction-on-change, which identifies and notifies all nodes that have outdated routing information as a result of a node joining, leaving, or failing. Effective failure handling is simplified as the detection of a failure triggers a correction-on-change which updates all the nodes that have a pointer to the failed node. the resulting system has increased robustness as nodes with stale routing information are immediately updated. We proof the correctness of the algorithms and evaluate its performance by means of simulation. Experimental results show that for the same amount of maintenance bandwidth correction-on-change makes the system by far more robust when compared to periodic stabilization. Moreover, compared to adaptive stabilization which adjusts its frequency to the dynamism in the system, correction-on-change gives the same performance but with considerably less maintenance bandwidth. As correction-on-change immediately updates incorrect routing entries the average lookup length is maintained close to the theoretical average in the presence of high dynamism. We show how the technique can be applied to our DKS system as well as the Chord system.
