Cancer is usually treated with surgery and probably with chemotherapy or radiation. A medical malpractice of breast cancer has become an urgent need to clear the mess based on technical, workable strategy. the paper tries to: (i) understand a general diagnosis, (ii) pay attentions on how to improve the right judgments of possible misinterpretation, (iii) focus on breast cancer malpractice combined with digital medical image, (iv) present a trustworthy image based upon ADAPT principle, (v) utilize steganography concepts to assure data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity. the physician's failure to diagnose medical images can result a patient's death, or cause enormous medical bills. A workable strategy of trustworthy computing in APAPT principle is proposed to improve the information security issue of mammography image, and establish the trustworthy computing of image diagnoses.

In modern computer hardware, increased processing capacity is gained by introducing more processor cores, not with increased clock speed. For individual cores this may imply reduced processing capabilities. Consequently, applications that are not designed to benefit from multiple cores need to be partially re-engineered for maintaining the existing performance. Such revisit can be eased with libraries that support concurrency. In this paper, we introduce our experiences on revisiting the design of an industrial system with multicore processing in mind, as well as on verifying the effect of our improvements with performance tests.

Internet of things (IoT) applications are developed and implemented through enlightened communication networks. the phenomena is proving a fact that research in IoT architecture becomes important domain in realizing IoT framework. therefore, in this paper a new IoT architecture is purposed combining two sophisticated communication networks: power line communication (PLC) and 3G networks. this combination is motivated by scalability advantages of (PLC) and 3G networks. Further, the 3G-PLC networks test bed is constructed and analyzed to show its feasibility in supporting IoT applications.

Generally, image rendering requires high computing capacity. It is really time consuming to render a movie on a single machine. the use of multiple machines to render a move requires much effort to control the workflow and data. With the emergence of cloud computing, more and more scientists and engineers are moving their tasks from laboratories to public clouds. this migration requires some sort experience on both the cloud architecture and coding in the cloud. this paper proposes a simple service to render movies on Microsoft Azure that accelerates movie rendering. this service, called AzureRender, also introduces task parallelism and cache management to improve performance and reduce cost. A comparative study on image rendering performance and cost between Microsoft Azure and desktop machines is given at the end of the paper.

Today most systems in high-performance computing (HPC) feature a hierarchical hardware design: Shared memory nodes with several multi-core CPUs are connected via a network infrastructure. parallel programming must combine distributed memory parallelization on the node interconnect with shared memory parallelization inside each node. We describe potentials and challenges of the dominant programming models on hierarchically structured hardware: Pure MPI (Message Passing Interface), pure OpenMP (with distributed shared memory extensions) and hybrid MPI+OpenMP in several flavors. We pinpoint cases where a hybrid programming model can indeed be the superior solution because of reduced communication needs and memory consumption, or improved load balance. Furthermore we show that machine topology has a significant impact on performance for all parallelization strategies and that topology awareness should be built into all applications in the future. Finally we give an outlook on possible standardization goals and extensions that could make hybrid programming easier to do with performance in mind.

SBASCO provides a new programming model for parallel and distributed numerical applications which exploits the combination of software components and skeletons. this paper presents an extension to both the model and implementation of SBASCO, so that the notion of aspect is applied in conjunction with the original paradigms. the objective is to achieve a higher level of modularity and reuse in parallel scientific codes and applications. Our aspects are managed as components which implement the (sequential or parallel) cross-cutting functionality. Aspects interact with the base code by means of connectors that express the cross-cutting nature of the target concerns. the way in which both aspect weaving and advice code execution are managed is critical for preserving the performance of applications. An implementation of the abstractions for distributed memory parallel systems based on MPI is discussed.

Gigabit network technologies have made it possible to combine workstations into a distributed, massively-parallel computer system. Middleware, such as distributed shared objects (DSO), attempts to improve programmability of such systems, by providing globally accessible 'object' abstractions. Researchers have developed consistency protocols for replicated 'memory' objects. these protocols are well suited to scientific applications but less suited to multimedia or groupware applications. We address the state sharing needs of complex distributed applications with: high-frequency symmetric accesses to shared objects; unpredictable and limited locality of accesses; dynamically changing sharing behavior; and potential data races. We show that a DSO system exploiting application-level temporal and spatial constraints on shared objects can outperform shared object protocols which do not exploit application-level constraints. We compare our S(emantic) DSO against entry consistency using a sample application having the four properties mentioned above.

the use of PC cluster systems composed of many PCs is largely spread in these days. It is important to improve system usage keeping proper fair-share policy. this optimization problem is difficult to solve. In scheduler soft-ware, there are many parameters and the effectiveness of many parameters is related with each other complicatedly. therefore it is more difficult to find optimal parameter con-figuration to improve the system usage efficiency. So in this paper, we performed various analyses of those parameters and report the results.

this paper presents a novel overlay architecture to allow the design and development of distributed applications based on multiple interconnected overlay networks. Message routing between overlays is achieved via co-located nodes, i.e. nodes that are part of multiple overlay networks at the same time. Co-located nodes, playing the role of distributed gateways, allow a message to reach a wider set of peers while overlay maintenance remains localized to individual overlays of smaller size. To increase robustness, gateway nodes route messages in an unstructured fashion, and can discover each other by analyzing the overlay traffic. the approach is able to work in both "collaborative" scenarios, where overlay protocol messages can be modified to include additional inter-routing information, or non-collaborative ones. this allows for the interaction with existing overlay protocols already deployed.
