An adaptive state feedback control scheme under model reference is developed to ensure the performance of systems;By Lyapunov synthesis approach, adaptive laws are developed for high order non-strict positive real systems with unknown parameters. To overcome the highly nonlinearity of flow equation, it is linearized and parametrized. We investigate the bifurcation behavior of a discrete-time model of Internet congestion control system, which stands for a single link shared by multiple sources. By choosing the gain parameter and the number of sources as bifurcation parameters, we prove the existence of period doubling bifurcation in the model and study the stability of bifurcation. We also find that chaotic behavior of the model can be controlled by limiting the amplitudes of the sending rates.

Ultrasonic motors (USM) possess heavy nonlinear and load dependent characteristics of ultrasonic motors (USM) such as dead-zone and saturation reverse effects, which vary with driving conditions. In this paper, behaviour of an ultrasonic motor is modelled using Hammerstein model structure and experimental measurements. this paper presents an upgrading cooling system to minimize the energy costs based on the energy saving. the proposed technique uses a plate-and-frame heat exchanger to replace the traditional worm cooler. the performances of the proposed upgrading were observed using a cooling system of the composite plant in thailand as an illustrative case study. the experimental results demonstrating the saving in energy costs and some economic benefits of the proposed technique are included.
