Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are usually made up of small computers that measure things like temperature, pressure, light, and vibration, as well as medical devices that have signal transceivers that work on a certain radio display. It is often used in large-scale sensor networks because it can be built in different ways and doesn't cost much to set up. Other wireless networks use smart sensors to send data interfaces. The vast majority of devices that are connected to each other are given wireless networks. On the other hand, the u200b touch network can connect up to 65,000 devices. As the price of wireless solutions keeps going down and their features keep getting better, you may start to use wired solutions again for telemetry data collection systems and long-distance communication. This study showed how to use deep learning to stop sensor nodes from changing data. The sensor nodes store estimates and parameters. If these expected data values change, the network won't work right, which will also shorten the life of the node. When the sensor nodes were given out, data protection became more important. The proposed algorithm uses 98.82% as much energy as it needs to. © 2022 ieee.

Security is a major issue in Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs). Wireless sensor networks are commonly utilized for real-time monitoring in a variety of real-world applications. Meanwhile, WSNs are vulnerable to both insider and outsider attacks;and detecting and protecting against insider attacks are very difficult. A Gray hole attack, is one of the insider attack is also known as Selective Forwarding attack (SFA) is more prevalent in WSN. Here the attackers choose some received data packets to drop and frighten the clustered WSNs. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes an intrusion detection mechanism using OPTICS (Ordering Points to Identify the Cluster structure) which is kind of density - based clustering algorithm to defend against selective forwarding attack. The intruder node is identified by using two distinct features such as Energy Consumption and Received packet count. To identify outliers, OPTICS Algorithm uses its parameters core distance and reachability distance. Using NS2 (Network Simulator Version 2) - Mannasim, simulations are carried out. The energy consumption and received packet count data analysis are carried out using WEKA (Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis) simulation tool. The detection rate and elapsed time are better with the proposed OPTICS based intrusion detection algorithm when compared with its peers. Also, the performance analysis of the network was enhanced in terms of PDR (Packet Delivery Ratio) and throughput after the deletion of identified malicious nodes. Simulation outcomes prove that our proposed work give the mean accuracy of 100% detection rate and 0% of missed detection rate. © 2022 ieee.

Because wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been demonstrated to be an effective technology for gathering information about the physical world, they have been put to use in a wide variety of applications, such as the monitoring of temperature, radiation, the movement of liquids, and many others. Because of the characteristics of this type of technology and the fact that these systems are more susceptible to being attacked, the security measures that must be implemented for them must be approached in a unique manner. Because it helps sensors work together more effectively, decision making in a WSN is a key component for the successful completion of particular activities. Trust management systems could potentially play a significant role in this process in order to provide assistance. Emerging networks known as Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) are currently being utilized in a wide number of applications, including remote sensing imaging, military, healthcare, and traffic monitoring, among other things. This presents a dilemma for the security industry. In addition, sensor networks are believed to be the heart of both the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart cities. The proposed methodology has a trust based routing system through a main goal on packed dropping attacks. These attacks take place when biased sensors try to limit the network. Results depicts improper performance of model is 60% even when 25% or less lodes in number which performed in an unacceptable behavior. © 2022 ieee.

Edge computing has become a very popular service that enables mobile devices to run complex tasks with the help of network-based computing resources. However, edge clouds are often resource-constrained, which makes resource allocation a challenging issue. We focus on a distributed resource allocation method in which servers operate independently and do not communicate with each other, but interact with clients (tasks) to make allocation decisions. This provides robustness and does not require service providers to share information about their configurations or workloads. We propose a two-round bidding approach of assigning tasks to edge cloud servers, while taking into account various processing requirements and server constraints. We consider cases in which all jobs have equal utility, cases where jobs have different utilities but users do not disclose these utilities to servers, and cases where users disclose the utility of their jobs to servers. We evaluate the performance using extensive realistic simulations. Results show that our approach is very close to an optimal assignment, with discrepancy not exceeding 5%.

Energy trading in a smart microgrid based Peer to Peer (P2P) microgrid requires a novel framework. Where in a microgrid each prosumer equipped with distributed Energy Resources (DER) is encouraged to trade energy. Energy is traded with peers in the microgrid or sold to power grid to generate revenue whenever there is a surplus of energy. As there is an economic benefit, more prosumers are attracted to install DER. The peers in the microgrid are incentivized to buy locally produced energy which is available at a cheaper cost compared to buying from power grid. This results in reducing energy consumption from power grid which in turn results in reducing power losses in transmission lines and results in reduction of CO_2 emissions. Three market paradigms are considered in this paper, i.e. Bill sharing, Supply to Demand Ratio method and Mid-market rate method. Each of the pricing models are elaborated with local energy trading price and prosumers energy costs. In this case, these methods are studied concerning a smart microgrid equipped with DER, Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) system in this case, and the effectiveness of the pricing mechanisms and their respective benefits are established. © 2022 ieee.

The quality of service (QoS) is the general estimation of the execution in the organization. The sprouting constant gives quality of service (QoS) support in remote and portable systems administration conditions. The QoS can't be given a penny rate yet the better execution can be given the thought of the measurements. Later Wireless Networks support remote access for versatile specialized gadgets by giving a remote connection point between the cell phones and a proper organization of restricted range base-stations (BS). Vision systems with artificial intelligence (AI) for applications requiring image classification are in growing demand. However, the imager plus dedicated AI accelerator solution [1] suffers from the burdens of power and latency caused by the raw image data traffic between the imager and the companion signal processor with a neural network accelerator, making it unsuitable for the real-time inference in low-power edge devices. Recently, imagers with near- or in-sensor processing capability have been developed [2]-[6] to improve the system efficiency for specific applications. In [2]-[4], the near-sensor Haar-like filtering operations are implemented in imagers to realize face detection (FD). However, unlike using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) with programmable weights for different tasks, the implemented features of such prior works are limited and not configurable. In [5], a convolutional CMOS image sensor (CIS) with near-sensor analog multiply-accumulate (MAC) operations was reported for assisting with the 1st-layer computations of a CNN. However, the convolutional CIS is inadequate for some tasks, due limits on the numbers of layers/kernels, and needs a companion digital accelerator for the required operations (Rectified Linear Unit: ReLU, Maximum-Pooling: MP, Fully-Connected layer: FC, etc.) of a complete CNN model. In [6], an analog convolutional CIS is reported with a 5-layer network for CNN implementation. However, the analog MAC operations using charge sharing with a capacitor array leads to gain loss, low weight resolution, and limited accuracy. Moreover, the ReLU+MP operation using a static winner-take-all circuit is power hungry. To address these issues, we present an intelligent vision sensor (IVS) with an embedded tiny CNN model and programmable weights to achieve configurable feature extraction and on-chip image classification using a mixed-mode processing-in-sensor (PIS) technique. © 2022 ieee.

Precise measurement of flow is essential in industries to meet the working demand of multiple process parameters. Precise measurement can be achieved only with an accurate sensor. Orifice is one widely used flow sensor in industries, thus making it important to understand the performance characteristics of the orifice. This paper attempts to evaluate the characteristics of orifice flowmeter under varying environments through experimental setup and simulation tools. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used to design and analyze the performance of the flowmeter for the variation of sensor dimension. Transient analysis is performed and the results obtained are used for generation of mathematical model for estimation of differential pressure for different beta ratio's.. © 2021 ieee

Advancement in the healthcare system is rapidly increasing in recent years due to the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology. One of the most commonly used intravenous (IV) therapies, saline, plays a significant role in the treatment of disease patients. Saline plays a major role in replenishing lost fluid, extracellular fluid replacement like dehydration, hypovolemia, haemorrhage, sepsis. Generally, Surveillance of saline bottle levels is monitored by nurses and caretakers. There is an endless need to check the saline level after a particular time. If you don't, there's a good risk your blood may flow back into the saline bottle. Most of the time, due to negligence or an unusual scenario, the proper planning of removing the needle from the patient's vein is forgotten, resulting in a significant loss and maybe death. To avoid such accidents taking place due to the negligence of caretakers, it is proposed that the cost-effective smart saline level monitor which may be a reliable, user friendly and price effective system for saline level monitoring. This technique is built by employing a liquid level switch contactless sensor which is an ultra-low power and low cost sensor and NodeMCU ESP8266 Wi-Fi module microcontroller. The sensor's output is a specific voltage based on the presence of saline. The ESP8266 Wi-Fi module integrated on the NodeMCU microcontroller creates and broadcasts a specific message based on the voltage received from the sensor. MQTT-S is used to distribute/buy in convention, which works over TCP, to convey and introduce the communications to the end customer gadgets of endorsers such as specialists, medical attendants, or guardians. This proposed watching system ensures that messages are sent to supporters in a reliable manner, which is critical in medical treatment. © 2022 ieee.

This paper addresses the leader-follower consensus control of multi-agent systems (MASs) in the presence of external disturbance, utilizing a distributed sliding mode control (DSMC) approach. We first formulate the consensus problem, where a designated leader influences the behavior of multiple follower agents. The proposed DSMC strategy is designed to enhance robustness against disturbances and uncertainties inherent in the system. By leveraging the sliding mode control theory, we ensure that the agents maintain desired trajectories while effectively rejecting external perturbations. Theoretical analysis demonstrates the stability and convergence of the consensus protocol, supported by simulation results showcasing the efficacy of the DSMC method in practical scenarios. This work contributes to the field of multi-agent systems by providing a reliable control framework capable of achieving consensus under challenging conditions, making it applicable in various domains, including robotics and autonomous vehicles.
