The new concept of smart city requires numerous electronic devices such as actuator sensor interface distributed across multiple outdoor environment. The internet of things (IoT) plays a crucial role in connected devices via the internet. In fibre optics (FO) communication networks, light-emitting diodes (LEDs) or Laser diodes (LDs) are often utilised as a light source. An energy harvesting (EH) unit could be attached to the receivers to charge a battery and supply low-power modules in the IoT network and terminal devices. This paper deals with a Gigabit Passive Optics Network (GPON) FO system that incorporates an EH unit to harvest energy while transmitting data. As we know, most cities have an already installed GPON, using it to interconnect and supply low-power devices will go a long way to ease the already much needed power in IoTs devices. A model proposed in this paper is such that energy will be harvested from LEDs lights and the output power determined base on the simultaneous light-wave information and power transfer (SLIPT). The illustration shows that more energy can be harvested with an initial increase in the surface area of the solar panel for a decreased noise power. Finally, proposed GPON fiber optic receivers with SLIPT energy harvesting system numerical results are presented to evaluate the performance.

The technology effect is growing by the day. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data are employed to acquire enough application feasibility to alleviate human labour strain. The manner in which the information society is developing in this globe. The impact will cause certain modifications in the educational system's evolution. This study focuses on how to improve remote music education in the presence of a 5G network. In this scenario, network speed is regarded as having one of the most significant effects on students taking online classes. As a result, a 5G network may be the greatest option for expanding network speed and providing a strong impetus. To train the intelligent system to deliver remote music education via wireless 5G networks, the suggested system employs the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technique. Compline, uncertainty, unverified, and out-of-place are the characteristics used to compare the proposed system to the existing system. The suggested method outperformed the old system in terms of total accuracy, achieving 99.13 percent. © 2022 ieee.

Wireless sensor Network (WSN) is an important part for design of IoT. In IoT layered architecture WSN is present at the perception layer where the sensors sense the objects, gathers the data and send them to the base station. Intelligent WSN routing is necessary in IoT to improve the QoS of the underlying network. sensor node's energy is vital for effective data transmission in IoT enabled sensor network to avoid data packet loss, fast energy reduction. These factors lead to diminution of node performance and surge the delay rate in packet delivery. In our proposed model Quality of Service (QoS) Enhancement of IoT based Wireless sensor Network Using Fuzzy Best First Search Approach (QIWFB), where k number of clusters are formed using k-mean clustering. Each cluster a Cluster Head (CH) is selected using Mamdani fuzzy inference system. Each member node of a cluster sends data packets to its CH node. Then CH node send data packets to sink node via another CH node using best first search algorithm. The heuristic search algorithm finds the shortest route from source cluster CH node to the sink node. The paper concludes by stating that the proposed model outperforms fuzzy based Dijkstra's algorithm and fuzzy based hierarchical Dijkstra algorithm in terms of time complexity, no. of alive nodes, packet delivery time and energy consumption. © 2022 ieee.

The power distribution systems always need special attention for its planning and control. The distribution systems must be persistently adjustable to increasing load demand with satisfying the voltage range and without defying highest current conveying potential of the conductors. Properly planned distribution systems can lower capital investment, subtract system power losses and to provide improved quality of powers to consumers. This paper reviewed the works done by researchers previously on the effects of load models and load growth on system power loss and voltage profile. An ieee 13-bus radial electrical distribution test network is considered and simulated. Then, a study is carried out for the impact of DG in distribution system planning such as line loading with load growth, system power loss, voltage profile, need of new substation or up-gradation of existing substation and investment on transmission and distribution lines expansion. © 2021 ieee.

In a deregulated power system congestion management is a major issue of concern. In respect of transmission line losses, optimal power flow , operating limits of a power network are the main research attentions in the restricted power network .In today’s scenario, transaction of power becomes more significant due to increase in demand of customers and it becomes challenging to meet the requirement. As a result increased stress on transmission system line flow limits may violates, threat to voltage security also increases the risk of power system stability. Hence, for continuous and secure power flow n the transmission lines it is more significant that the generated electrical energy is transmitted as well as distributed proficiently in order to fulfill power *** rescheduling the generators, this research paper introduces a new hybrid optimization algorithm named as PSOGSA for eliminating of congestion from the congested transmission lines. The exploitation and exploration phases are the two main processes that this metaheuristic optimization algorithm followed. The exploitation phase uses the PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) method to determine the fitness value, and the GSA (Gravitational Search method) is utilized to evaluate the fitness new position. The suggested method results are compared with an unmanaged network, such as the ieee 30 bus system. Compared to PSO, this suggested method, PSOGSA, offered a superior solution.

Two major issues concerning handling Internet of Things (IoT) networks are energy efficiency and efficient data transfer, especially in large-scale deployments. A popular technique to increase network efficiency is cluster-based routing protocols, in which data aggregation and communication are made easier by cluster heads (CHs). The lifespan and consumption of the energy in the network are directly impacted by the CHs that are chosen. Advanced methods for cluster head selection have been developed because of the increasing demand for reliable, scalable, and energy-efficient IoT networks. To maximize CH selection, the current investigation presents a unique cluster head selection technique based on Salp Swarm Optimization (SSO), which takes distance to the sink and remaining energy into account as fitness functions. When compared to conventional approaches, the proposed strategy shows substantial improvements in network lifespan and energy efficiency.

Distribution systems across many parts of the globe have the problem of high system loss, high voltage unbalance and poor maintenance of system voltage profile. The major aim in allocating distributed Generation (DG) and Shunt Capacitor is to reduce line loss, decrease voltage unbalance and to maintain the voltage profile in the practical unbalanced distribution system. In this paper DG and Shunt Capacitor are injected at identified weak bus and performance in terms of technical and economic parameters are analyzed. Voltage profile, system loss and voltage unbalance are the technical parameters selected for judging the system parameters by incorporation of the device. Net present value (NPV) is chosen as the financial indicator in this paper which is used to judge the economic performance. Instead of random allocation, DG and capacitors are injected at the selected weak bus to enhance the system performance. To validate the proposed methodology ieee 13 bus unbalances network is chosen. The system performance is analyzed both for normal load and heavy load condition. Open Distribution system simulator software (Open DSS) which is primarily used for electric power utility distribution network is used for three phase unbalanced power flow analysis of the network. Result of the work validates the effectiveness of this approach © 2021 ieee.

One of the most common methods for relaying messages in a variety of networks is the shortest path. In terms of energy and time, it provides an effective message relaying to the destination through many nodes. The shortest hop or distance path can be constructed using a variety of algorithms. However, no algorithm for building a shortest hop multipath for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) has yet been proposed in the literature. This paper proposed a distributed shortest hop multipath algorithm for WSNs. An alternative approach is suggested as a path in the case of allocating certain node on another path at the same time to avoid the busy path. This case to solve the simultaneous data dissemination or routing messages from different nodes to a sink. This paper reduces the problem of losing the messages when there are common nodes on different paths at the same time. The proposed algorithm produces multi alternative paths with the fewest hops to ensure network load balancing. © 2021 ieee

The increasing load demands in distribution systems are giving rise to several issues, including higher line losses due to increased current flow and deterioration of the system voltage profile. To address these challenges, this study employs and validates a method for the optimal placement and sizing of distributed Generations (DGs) and Capacitor Banks (CBs) on a standard 118-bus distribution system. An unconventional objective function is utilized, incorporating system line losses, cumulative voltage deviation, reliability index, and overall system cost, to obtain the optimal solution for the problem. Initially, a sensitivity analysis, based on power loss and cumulative voltage deviation indices, is performed to identify the most appropriate bus locations for deploying DGs and CBs. Thereafter, the maiden application of slime mould algorithm is made to address the aforementioned problems. The independent and simultaneous optimal deployment of DGs and CBs are studied as separate case studies, and their results are compared and analyzed to highlight the relative advantages of each approach.
