distributed quantum computing supports combining the computational power of multiple quantum devices to overcome the limitations of individual devices. Circuit cutting techniques enable the distribution of quantum computations via classical communication. These techniques involve partitioning a quantum circuit into smaller subcircuits, each containing fewer qubits. The original circuit's outcome can be replicated by executing these subcircuits on separate devices and combining their results. However, the number of circuit executions required to achieve a fixed result accuracy with circuit cutting grows exponentially with the number of cuts, posing significant costs. In contrast, quantum teleportation allows the distribution of quantum computations without an exponential increase in circuit executions. Nevertheless, each teleportation requires a pre-shared pair of maximally entangled qubits for transmitting a quantum state, and non-maximally entangled qubits cannot be used for this purpose. Addressing this, our work explores utilizing non maximally entangled qubit pairs in wire cutting, a specific form of circuit cutting, to mitigate the associated costs. The cost of this cutting procedure reduces with the increasing degree of entanglement in the pre-shared qubit pairs. We derive the optimal sampling overhead in this context and present a wire cutting technique employing pure non-maximally entangled slates that achieves this optimal sampling overhead. Hence, this offers a continuum between existing wire cutting and quantum teleportation.

Air pollution has become a major global concern, as it affects the health and well-being of millions of people worldwide. One of the major advancements in Wireless sensor Networks (WSN) for air pollution monitoring is the integration of cost effective, low-power sensors with wireless communication technologies. This has led to the development of low-cost, portable and easy-to-deploy air quality monitoring systems that can be deployed in remote areas to monitor air quality. The paper surveys the recent advancements in air pollution monitoring using wireless sensor networks. WSN is comprised of a network of wireless sensors deployed in the environment to collect data of various air pollutants, such as CO-Carbon monoxide, O3-Ozone, SO2-Sulfur dioxide, NO2-Nitrogen dioxide and PM-Particulate matter. In addition, the paper explores the usage of WSN for air pollution monitoring. © 2023 ieee.

The ability to deliver results promptly has become crucial for analytical frameworks due to the swift increase in data volumes. Complex algorithms are needed to schedule data processing activities on distributed compute clusters efficiently. Because it is impractical to create and fine-tune a scheduling policy for every task, current systems rely on basic, generic heuristics and neglect workload peculiarities. Effective task scheduling is essential for optimising the performance of fog computing systems. Fog nodes are dynamic, heterogeneous, and resource-constrained, and traditional task scheduling techniques, which were largely created for centralised cloud settings, frequently cannot accommodate these characteristics. We provide a cutting-edge machine learning (ML) based solution that adjusts job assignment to the evolving needs of the Fog environment in order to get beyond these restrictions. Fuzzy logic, a reliable unsupervised learning method, is used with the K-Means clustering algorithm in our method to effectively group. We have used Python to model and assess our suggested method. The simulation findings validate the effectiveness of our scheduling method, demonstrating notable improvements in response time, reduced network usage, and execution time reduction in comparison to other ML and non-ML based scheduling techniques available in the Python framework. © 2025 ieee.

As distributed generation (DG) supported by renew-able energy become more and more prevalent in the distribution network (DN), the coordination of directional overcurrent relays (DOCRs) in their presence needs to be addressed. Numerous meta-heuristic optimization strategies have been used to address this problem in order to determine the optimal relay settings and to achieve the best possible coordination of the protective relays considering coordination constraints. This study presents an adaptive protection coordination strategy for DNs with inter-connected DG units. The scheme utilizes Chicken swarm opti-mization (CSO) to achieve optimal coordination. It dynamically adjusts protective device (DOCR) settings in response to changes in the system, such as fluctuations in DG output or modifications to the network topology. The effectiveness of the proposed adaptive scheme is demonstrated through its application to two benchmark systems: the 9-bus Canadian system and the ieee 30-bus system. The results are presented and analyzed, showcasing the scheme's capabilities. This approach significantly enhances power system protection and enhances reliability and efficiency of power DNs. © 2024 ieee.

Recent developments in computer networking have made it possible to access information from a faraway location via either wireless or wired networks. The recent advancements in wireless infrastructure are directly responsible for the advent of wireless sensor networks, often known as WSNs. These networks make it easier to keep track of environmental happenings and activities, as well as document them and manage them. In WSNs, data relaying is accomplished through the use of a variety of routing strategies. Industry 4.0, also known as the fourth industrial revolution, is characterized by the incorporation of highly developed physical automation systems. These systems are made up of several pieces of machinery and gadgets that are linked together by sensors and are operated by software. The goal of the fourth industrial revolution is to improve the effectiveness and dependability of business processes. The Internet of Things (IoT) can be leveraged in manufacturing, which gives a means of linking engines, power grids, and sensors to the cloud in an industrial context. This is accomplished through the use of Industrial IoT. The purpose of this paper is to gain an understanding of how the Internet of Things functions in wireless sensor networks and its possible applications in a variety of settings. © 2024 ieee.

Deploying a Wireless sensor Network (WSN) utilizing MQTT-based data transmission, with Raspberry Pi acting as the central broker, offers an effective and adaptable solution for gathering and managing sensor data. Within this framework, sensor nodes like ESP32 devices collect data from their surroundings and publish it to designated MQTT topics. The Raspberry Pi, configured as an MQTT broker, functions as the central nexus for receiving and organizing the sensor data. MQTT's publish-subscribe mechanism ensures smooth communication between the sensor nodes and the Raspberry Pi, facilitating real-time data transmission. Consequently, applications running on the Raspberry Pi or other connected devices can subscribe to pertinent topics to consume and process the sensor data. This method streamlines the integration of various sensors within a network and fosters the development of a versatile and responsive system for monitoring and analyzing data from distributed sensors, applicable in diverse fields such as environmental monitoring or industrial automation. © 2024 ieee.

Cognitive Radio-Wireless sensor Networks (CR-WSNs) offer a solution to the spectrum limitations faced by traditional Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) by utilizing idle frequencies within licensed bands. By detecting and exploiting these spectrum holes, CR-WSNs can reduce interference and enhance network performance. However, energy conservation is a critical concern due to the limited battery capacity of sensor nodes. This research paper proposes a collaborative based sensing methodology using the Energy Detection (ED) technique, analyzed under different decision-making logics: AND, OR and the proposed Max Selection scheme. The Max Select scheme aims to significantly improve the detection accuracy while minimizing the probability of false alarms, compared to the conventional ED technique. By efficiently managing the energy resources and enhancing the sensing performance, the proposed scheme addresses key challenges in CR-WSNs, balancing the need for reliable spectrum detection with the constraints of energy consumption in these networks. © 2024 ieee.

Cybersecurity Mesh Architecture (CSMA) is a promising new approach to cybersecurity that has the potential to improve network and information security. As networks become more complex and widespread, detecting and responding to threats has become more difficult. It has also led to security creep that leads to complexity of management, fragmentation of visibility, and limits organizations ability to respond effectively to threats. These and similar challenges have made integration with CSMA a necessity for today's organizations. The cybersecurity mesh can be viewed as centralizing security management and distributing the application of this management, but in some completely distributed networks, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud computing, Edge computing, Big Data, etc., the cybersecurity mesh is not compatible with them because it applies the principle of central management. Therefore, the researchers propose, in this paper, to change the cybersecurity mesh architecture. The cybersecurity mesh will be completely distributed using blockchain technology, where the network security infrastructure will first be changed to the blockchain network. After that, blockchain technology will be integrated into each layer of the proposed cybersecurity mesh. Finally, the proposed architecture will be evaluated by ensuring complete distribution and the expected security provided by the cybersecurity mesh. © 2024 ieee.

Smart farming, enabled by the integration of Remote Sensing (RS) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, represents a revolutionary approach to modern agriculture. This paper explores the synergistic application of RS and IoT for real-time monitoring of irrigation practices in smart farming systems. Remote sensing provides a bird's-eye view of agricultural landscapes, capturing crucial data on crop health, soil moisture, and environmental conditions. Concurrently, IoT devices deployed in the field offer ground-level data, including real-time sensor readings and feedback from automated irrigation systems.
